the thing about ts4 environments graphics is so real, when I saw a video comparing ts2 and ts4 I realized just how incredibly ugly ts4 is, I always thought something about it's graphics was off, but seing them near each other is crazy 💀 and not to mention how many ts4 objects are so missized which only adds to the fake feeling
omg so glad to hear people talking about how ugly the environments in ts4 are!! in the game itself i feel like the low poly style can work (mainly in later expansions, base game furniture is ROUGH) but a lot of items converted to ts2 look so out of place 😖 i do have some vanilla 4t2 cc (strangerville conversions i think? and other misc stuff) but for the most part i prefer stuff that fits the ts2 style of "high poly but for 2004"
imo ts4 environments are BAD. most of the plants are too plasticky and weird, and it has this really shiny untextured feeling to it. some of the lower poly objects looks really nice, but (as u said) the base game block furniture gives animal crossing 😭
@@nervosims the plants are particularly bad 😭 if you dont look too closely it's okay but they stick out like a sore thumb surrounded by other ts2 foliage
@@nervosimsHave you ever thought of developing your own life sim game, and show EA how it's done? Of course not...because you're better tediously insulting their work instead of creating your own to be critiqued..
Reason your video has absolutely no comments at all except for...2? 3? Talking about hores are boring..
YOUR horses are boring...what more do you want a horse to do? Knit a sweater? Wax it's legs? Sail the 7 seas?
Go play Lifeless by You or Parascams when they drop...if "horses are so boring' in Sims4.
One less Sim hater exiting the community is always a GOOD thing...
@SimlikeitHot i tend to speak in absolutes and hyperbole, ts4 is an appealing game visually just... not for me.
i don't need to be a michellin star chef to say a piece of toast is burnt. i think ts4 is ugly. im allowed to feel that way as you are allowed to feel so strongly about my opinions.
i'm a very small channel with an insignificant voice. the fact you're this irritated by me boggles the mind.
@@nervosims You're a small channel for a reason....but keep up the negativity regarding The Sims4, and believe me, your channel will grow to a sizeable following...of Sims4 haters..
Why? Because drama sells. It attacts those who live and crave it, daily. Look at most of these so called 'content creators' who mostly cover The Sims4. Almost every video is like yours...talking shyt about it. 'I have right to voice my negative opinions'. You also have right to move on if the product doesn't appeal to you..but yet you stay.
If 'the toast is burnt'...why keep coming back to that same restaurant, talking shyt about the burnt toast??
Go to another freaking restaurant, right?

I think it’s fine if horses don’t work in all worlds. That’s actually VERY realistic. Not a horse girl, don’t play with them in Sims 3 or 4. But in real life owning a horse is a huge expensive commitment. You aren’t gonna own one in the center of NYC, you might if you live in Texas. People should be able to replicate whatever they want in game rather that is owning a horse on a ranch or owning a parrot in the suburbs. Cats and Dogs are more common pets, but I support any addition of both more pets and wild animals within reason (like I don’t want lions walking through the city, but if one makes a jungle map the option to add them is valid!).
Also I hate the not ‘realistic’ argument. This is a game that has had Unicorns, Genies, witches, warewolves, Cowplants, Vampires, Bigfoot, Bonehilda, and servos over its many iterations from Sims 1-4. The line between realisim and imaginary has always been a moving target. Instead of saying not realistic we should be saying ‘not authentic’ or not with much ‘depth’ which is more what many people really mean over ‘realisim’ as they still want there unicorns and vampires even with things like chemistry and attraction systems. But the sims has never been 100% realistic.
that's a valid point! i never thought of it that way. i, personally, don't play with pets often so im not necessarily drawn to them in gameplay. it's nice to get some perspective on it.
also on the realism, i love playing with supernaturals! aliens, vampires, werewolves, and everything underneath the kitchen sink. i guess the verbage was a bit off. it was all unscripted me just talking in my room but i'll keep it in mind for sure!
@@nervosimsNo worries, a lot of people us the word realisim when they mean autheticity…which I get.
My biggest issue with Sims 4 btw is less horses existing and more neighborhood stories is so badly tuned it will give them to random families rather they have a horse bed or not.

i confess that i don't care about horses, except when it adds to the story i'm making (mostly farms and historical gameplay) For pets i'm pretty satisfied with cats,dogs and smaller animals.
