ALWAYS LOVE WATCHING YOU AND YOUR MOM PLAY TOGETHER HER VOICE IS BEAUTIFUL ,,WISH HER ALL THE BEST FOR ME PLEASE,,,CANT WAIT TO SEE YOUR REBUILT 394 THAT DONNY WALKER IS REBUILDING
I have noticed since I been using your filling methods every cut is straight and fast and as the chain wears I like it better than out of the box thanks Buckin!!!
You've helped me alot also Billy, been clean going on 11 years.I get out and cut every other day mostly gamble oak.Still making amends to my loved ones I've hurt. There is power in your words stay pure brother.
Buckin...your chain almost to the witness marks looks almost like a John Reilly "Race Chain." He files the cutters almost to the witness marks and then the tail end of the cutter to get the least drag possible. So in effect you are almost running a racing chain when the cutters get worn down.
Ol Jonny from sunny florida files one helluva chain fo sure and is a good dude to boot! The teeth are tapered back as you file /grind them so less kerf /resistance thru the timber- also the gullet is HUGE improving chip flow/discharge. I have a Reilly Racer hand filed sqr/sqr chain but it only comes out for “special” occasions 😂
Yep just put new one on my Stihl that looked like that to the markers that's why those are there I guess. I use a Stihl/Pferd 2 in 1 with Oregon files so fast with that help always appreciated Buckin!
Fair play soon wiped the the husqvarna 595 xp lol lovely and them other other waiting and ready is a joy to see with much pleasure to with them many thanks bill I know called us out before theres no need I appreciate the info and knowledge you have brought to on
Hi all my apologies for not saying hi more often just work seems to get in the way. I do watch the videos Billy puts up.. Think I better let my husqvarnas watch this video they might start starting after two pulls. A welcome to all the new subscribers I've missed you've made a fantastic decision to join the bucking army. Hi to all my fellow true blues. Enjoy the rest of the week. Regards to the family Billy and your mum whom I have the fantastic pleasure still hearing from. Take care
Thank you Buckin’ can you please give this to the bloke who hurt him self with the chainsaw. It might help his family now that he isn’t working. It’s not much but I hope it helps him. ❤
I was at work Sunday afternoon and I had a moment to pop in. I heard someone got hurt, and I wanted to watch later to get detail. I couldn't find it. Now I know why. I hope you can get it back so I can watch it. thanks.
Love my huskys too billy! Other saws may be just as good but when you love what you have and are used to it nothing else is even close. Glad to see you back at the smith compound😊 especially in the shop and on the drums. Love your content brother.
Too crazy to be true... Replaced a chain yesterday that was as far almost as yours on the husky..... Then thought to myself, how far would these guys go ( buckin, bellhopper Leon ) Today I am already getting clarification!!! Thank you, you read my mind!!! Greetings kristof Belgium
Just got my grandpa's husky running after it been sitting for over 3 years! Even used the old fuel 😂 all I had to really do was take the sparkplug out n put a lil bit of gas in there 🤌
You should always keep a "throwaway" chain around, you know, for when your neighbor/friend asks to borrow your saw. A throwaway bar would be good, too.
I knew it would work. I've gawn smaller watching your vids filing Using a progressive raker gauge . Racing friends with new chains. Smoking them thanks bucken
This is the Canadian way of life, many Americans won't understand, but when a group of people get together they start making music, good times, everyone is having fun, just a different way of life, pray, give Jesus praise and worship
Buckin!! Great live feed yesterday!! People being real and reaching out..others wanting to help, Great messages....what a great ARMY!! Great video brother, ya gotta love them small teeth haha..but still cut like butter when done correctly like you said!!! And that DGP oil is workin great on my powersaws!!! HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! thanks for promoting a great product and sharing it with others!!
Super live feed. Hopin Pip is doing better with a little Buckin' humor. Now, an observation. When you were cutting the small stuff at the end, I didn't hear the metallic sound associated with the lack of bar oil that I sometimes hear when the engine isn't running full throttle. Dewalt, huh.
I dig your feel on the drums, you are playing smooth as ever. Love Mama Buckin and her positive lyrics. Always say this about every band i see... "They would sound a little better if i was playing with them" ha ha... A few chords from a Hammond organ through a Leslie speaker laid down with a nice tone with a volume pedal...oh yeah. And it doesn't come from ego just years of playing multitudes of instruments... like your saw room only with musical instruments.🎶🎹🎻🪕
This man was born in the wrong century, he is an animal, loves the simplicity of life, wonder if he has a 2-STROKE DIRT BIKE, he surely makes love to that saw, love you Billy Ray
So you switch files on the same teeth? I just use what they tell me. 3/16 on these 18" bars. I do notice they don't sharpen the whole back curve sometimes. Filing rakers (dogs, some locals call em) is tedious as hell, but that's the price for using a chain for its full life. I had a local saw guy get me going 18 yrs. ago and he retired, so thanks for picking up the slack.
Thats incredible. For a few days maybe weeks, im telling myself to ask you how far do you go with filing your chain. Because i found a couple of my thrown away chains with literally small triangle of tooth left. I was surprised when i was able for the first time get there with chain still cutting nicely. Thank you for your videos and thank you for this one, even i didnt have to ask you :D sorry for my english, hope you will understand what im trying to say :D Hi from Czech Republic :)
Question: I have a 460 rancher and I was told the oiler fails on them. Is that true, and what could I do to prevent a failure? Thanks for your videos. Always uplifting!
Use good chain oil to begin with, be careful not to let the crud fall in there/stick to inside of cap while refilling, wipe/brush it off before opening the cap. Prevention is better than cure. If its working fine don't worry about it, might never happen. Running almost boiling water (take care) through the oiler/tank can help shift minor blockages when things get a bit clogged up. But again, if it ain't broke don't fix it!
Mama Buckin is one awesome lady ✌️
Thanks Tim, you are too for making my day.
I enjoy cutting when the chain is near the end of the top plate. Cuts well for me
That's how I run my chains. It's low as I can and I still get them to rip amazing.
She's playing a left-handed guitar! You don't see that every day.. nice!
good eye
Yup, left handed dyslexic drama queen. haha. Don't read a note of music. Neither does Buckin but we get by.

this what happens
572xp is an awesome saw. Sits for weeks Always pops within 2-3 pulls … once warmed up - barely a pull and fires Everytime!
I have one that doesn’t spark at all.
hi.mama buckin has a nice singing voice.and good music too.
Awesome jam session! You guys sound great!
thx
Left my 390xp sitting with premix in it for 7 months. Fired up in 4 pulls.
I'm loving that opening jam!!!
Liked the chain sharpening yesterday with that old chain that had reached its limit.
That was fun! Thanks, Buckin.
🇨🇦🔥🇺🇸
I have a couple chains like yours on the 572. Just getting my money's worth, that's all.... 😅
it was a good live feed and i hope all the advice and guidance given helped anyone in need and made a difference

Hey Brooks.....
I think everybody’s saw would start with fewer pulls if we held the throttle down a bit when we pull - buckin does that no?
Hi Billy just wondering do you use the bench chainsaw grinders at all? Or do you only use files? Cheers
Thank you Buckin’ can you please give this to the bloke who hurt him self with the chainsaw. It might help his family now that he isn’t working. It’s not much but I hope it helps him. ❤
1000% I will . thank you 🙏
The live feed was recovered! Awesome!

Hey buckin I'm a fan of your work, I was wondering how much would you charge for a 20 inch square filing race chain for a get together out here in N.M
