I love the love for alberta and the peace area of alberta!! Born and raised grimshaw ab, 15 minuted away from peace river. We hunt the hills surrounding the peace river, good hunting thats forsure!

Any advice on moose hunting? I would like to go one day.

Hunt the rut in mid to late Sept. Calling moose is the most productive way to hunt them. Find a reputable outfitter or put some pre season scouting in to find a well populated moose area.

Should also mention where these guys are hunting is further south so rut might be earlier.

That's bowhunting. I've seen guys take shots inside 20 yds and not recover the animal.
