Crazy the newest record Boone and Crocker is “only” a nine foot bear. Obviously still huge but it just had the biggest head lol.
I'm an out door man, ive been fishing and hiking for over 40 years and i still dont understand the fascination with killing these bears.
I just watched a really sloppy episode - had to shoot with rifle after one weak arrow. This, however, is where's it at!

And I would say this is a good starting now that I could pass down to my son when he is older.But the package was missing the release and a nock was missing from one arrow.Dealing with customer support was terrible. They suggested I buy a new release rather than correct their own quality control issue because it’s to expensive for the. to ship it out from China.Update: manufacturer got back to me and resolved the issue. I retract the above statement.

Arrow went clean through, animal died in minutes. Have you ever seen how a bear kills its prey?

@@wilmamcdermott3065 That's the beauty of a well placed arrow, no shock value and doesn't get the adrenaline pumping . That bear had no idea what happened, double lung is lethal.
What happens to the carcus, do they somehow get it out of there or leave it, thing is huge.

Dude first bear was insanely huge.
I agree but the bear I shot had a 29 9/16" skull #1 SCI at the time. he was 19.5 years old. He might not have had the same body size as the first bear but I doubt the first bear had a larger skull. Not that it mattered, I was shooting any mature bear that gave me a clean bow shot on but skull size are how bears are scored

It shouldn’t count as a bow kill if you have a guy with a gun that will blast the bear into another world if you miss. It’s just not the same as what the big boys do. It should be you vs the bear
It's the law. All non residents have to have a guide and he has to be armed with a rifle. First he had the wrong rifle to stop a bear, a 300 win mag will kill a bear but not stop him at that distance before he got to us. Second after watching that video do you really thing I was afraid to get close to a bear? I was well aware of the dangers of hunting brown bear with a bow

I've seen this video many times. Not many brown bear vids I haven't seen, even though I've never seen one with my own eyes. That first bear that stood up....ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME?!!!😲😲💪💪An absolute MONSTER!!! Obviously the bear you harvested was incredible too, but that first one holy moly man. That's as big as they get!!
He was a big bear but I also think it was the camera angle that made him look larger. I felt it wasn't a clean archery shot or at lest the one I was willing to take for a bow kill, I didn't want any firearms used. But I can't believe the skull the bear that stood up ( the way the bears are measured) would have been larger than the one I took, 29 6/16" is a freak!!
@@GusCongemiOutdoors oh no doubt I think you can't take that shot. Way too fast of a decision especially on an animal like you said tracking an animal that can eat you hahaha both were tremendous bears. Incredible, gorgeous animals. I can't imagine how adrenaline pumping that must be.
@@ADVENTURESOFBZ It was just a personal thing for me to take a bear with my bow. I knew I needed a double lung shot to have that happen. Just wasn't sure shooting a bear standing up was the shot I was willing to take. But it was still cool to have experienced that. Thanks for the input.

Not with a bow, that's a one lung nightmare waiting to happen. I wasn't looking forward to tracking a wounded brown bear The bear I shot has a 29 6/16" skull #1 SCI Archery Brown Bear. The body on the first bear might have been larger but I doubt the skull was, and that's how bears are scored. Skull size

Just like all the other bears that you will never see because you will never go there, Right Bob? How many bears did the license fees I paid save? Did you ever bother to look into how the Fish and Game, the people who do the research and collect the data on these animals, are funded? Federal excise taxes on sales that have anything to do with firearm and bow and licenses make up most of the money. That was 8 years ago bear was aged at 19.5 years old when I shot him he would be dead by now.
