Swatching out the colors then cut them in a shape that would match the ends of the caps, write the number, and then glue them on both caps of each pen. This way your swatch is directly on the cap and you don’t have to refer to your swatch sheet every time you need to choose a color.

I actually been doing professional art with Copic alcohol markers for year, I always suggest having a spare piece of paper with you to test the colors and blending before you use it.
I have over 250 alcohol brush markers and they are so much fun to use and yes the colors sometimes dont match, I go mostly for copic and tombow inks because they are pretty good. But having a sketchbook of color coded marker colors will help out a lot if you have been using several brands. Try that it might help
Dark violet light means this: Dark violet is a shade soo, it’s just a light shade of dark violet. It not actually telling that the colour is dark or light it’s just telling a lighter shade of colour which’s name has the word dark in it. Hope that explained it. :)
Thank you for mentioning this. I just started learning with ohuhu markers and I was so confused about why everything looked off. I finally swatched all of them and have my swatch cards out at all times. Idk why art brands can't get this down. Makeup brands were notoriously bad at matching colors to the product but in recent years gotten almost spot on with most packaging and product colors

They both come at student prices, and are relatively cheaper than their competitors Unfortunately, it is still pricey, since the ink from alcohol markers is hard to obtain/manufacture, I presume Personally, I recommend a 12 pack set from Artxx, since those markers are not named (to my knowledge) and only numbered Ohuhu is a little pricey, but they're good quality, and have plenty of variation in quite a few packs ALWAYS SWATCH YOUR COLOURS! I feel like this is true for any marker really Also, pastel set, it's just darker than most of the pastels :)

Yeah I agree lol my "yellow" Markers are kind of like brown and "green yellow" And "neon yellow" Are literally the perfect yellow colors. Not to mention the "pastels" Are so vibrant
that first issue is a mood even in colored pencils.. like, I have 3 blues, labelled 346,347, and 348, yet '46 and '47 look the same and '48 seems to have taken the saturation that '47 needed..
That brand is still my fav! 😢 I misplaces mine and refuse to color without them but I am starting to lose hope they were not stolen by a house guest last year! 😢

I've had my Copics for 5 years, stored upright in the plastic cases I bought them in and NOW you're telling me I should store them on their sides?? 😮😂

Not just Copics, any pen with two tips should be stored horizontally. If you store them standing up, one of the tips can dry out.
