It actually is to a degree. Faces we generally percieve as more attractive fit the golden ratio more. The only thing is, once you get above a certain level like 7-8/10+, beauty becomes subjective. If you compare an ugly person with an attractive person, 100% of people will tell you one is more attractive then the other. But if you put 2 attractive people together, it becomes subjective.
