  • 'A FAMILY AFFAIR' - Available Digitally Starting May 20.
Lightbulb Film Distribution is thrilled to unveil the poster for the upcoming British comedy, 'A FAMILY AFFAIR', set to debut across all major digital platforms in the UK & Ireland from May 20.
The film features a stellar cast including Joe Wilkinson ('After Life', 'Sex Education'), Laura Aikman ('Not Going Out', 'Gavin and Stacey'), and the beloved Jane Asher ('Death at a Funeral', 'Alfie').
Written and directed by Warren Fischer, with production by Joan Lane ('The King's Speech'), the movie centers around a financially beleaguered hotel manager (portrayed by Wilkinson). He struggles to prevent a sale at a public auction while simultaneously entertaining his in-laws during their wedding anniversary.
Peter Thompson, Sales & Acquisitions Director at Lightbulb Film Distribution, comments on the release: "'A FAMILY AFFAIR' is an uproarious comedy filled with mishaps, certain to delight viewers. Joe Wilkinson, a renowned figure in comedy, truly excels in his first leading role in a film, reminiscent of John Cleese’s performance in 'Fawlty Towers'."
Catch 'A FAMILY AFFAIR' to either own or rent on all major digital platforms in the UK & Ireland starting May 20.

First impressions... what the hell, Joe? I thought you'd be in something edgier than this? This show looks like something my mum would watch on a Sunday evening. Like Heartbeat.

If trailers are anything to go by then this looks shite. Its a shame because Joe is great and this looks like a waste of his natural talent.

Jury out as didn't see anything hilarious in any scene of the trailer. Looks like a soft comedy for the family so probably wont bother on this one!
