Sorry for the delay in replying. Haven't a clue on compression, but I use Pinnacle Studio and output a WMA file at (I think) 2073kb/sec. I had a look at your video - lovely boat. For internal shots, could I suggest that you would do well to invest in a semi-fisheye converter which would screw onto the front of your camcorder lens. Raynox do one - it cost me around £70 and is really good quality. It makes a huge difference.
