I would guess the "2P" in Gunginner and Drillerscout means that it is meant for 2-player games, so two players can fill all four roles at once.
Generic Hero MUST be Karl, right? That legend was unstoppable after all... Until he stopped. This is a great, in depth video by the way; I know the views might be low but don’t let that disparage you, as you’re hitting the exact audience (like me!) that should be hit with videos like this. The Mines non-linear mission looks really awesome, if one thing can be brought back, I'd vote for a mission structure like that.

I think maybe (2P) refers to the fact that these classes should be used in 2 player games, because they merge two classes in to one meaning you can get four classes with 2 players (I’m probably wrong, just throwing it out there

I search every day for a while, and i have a few hypothesizes from all the evidence and lack of, but im pretty sure there are hidden things we haven't found. On a recent Twitch Stream I asked them about the 'Leaking Pipes in the L4 Bathrooms' and the reply was verbatim, "wouldn't you like to know." So that is either Goading me into looking for nothing, or there is something NOT YET FOUND! ROCK AND SOTNE>

I'm pretty sure the 2P means that the class is intended to be used when you only have 2 players.
The idea of haveing random portals that take you to older versions of DRG where it one room and you can mine old ores for more XP and meony at end of the mission. That could be nice random event.
I doubt you'll see this, but the intro really makes me want DRG being a future with shitty 1980s tech canonical

6 mins into the vid, wish they did something to gold where its more enticing to get like it was in the early alpha. hp and shield boost for the rest of the mission? they could fundamentally change how the game is played today. imagine early on the mission is easy, but with time, enemy count and stats increase, and you'll need to gather gold to upgrade your team's stats.
or basically anything that makes players who don't care about credits want to get gold again.
Wouldn't it be cool if elements from the pre alpha worked their way into actual cannon in updates

Hahahah, GOD it’s weird to see the alpha again.
I joined during closed alpha 3 (Or 4?) and I’ve watched the game grow from there. It’s amazing to watch an unfinished and unpolished game slowly grow and be changed into an amazing product.
Yeah, I wasn't in it, but I remember seeing footage from back then,talking about how it seemed really promising, and I've always struggled to find anything that old since then.
