- The Lexus LBX is the smallest Lexus ever to go on sale. It is designed for the European and Japanese market and it enters a highly competitive market segment. However, the LBX is a very well designed and built car and could knock it's direct (German) opponents straight out of the park.

Turn off the Head up Display if wearing pola glasses. You cant see it anyway. After this all controls are shown on the normal screen behind the wheel :)
There is no sun roof in any athmosphere.
That is correct. I think I mentioned this in the Lexus NX review. Thank you for the remark on the sunroof, I thought it might be different in other markets.
I test drove the LBX sports luxury 2wd. Virtually every reviewer didn’t mention the internal door opening safety system. Using the blind spot monitoring tech, the car will not let an occupant open a door if there is chance of being hit by cars coming up from behind.
You are right, that safety feature is so valuable. Especially when you have kids that want to leave the car when there is oncoming traffic. Then it pays back in full. Thanks for your comment
Goed gedaan Arnold! Best review of the Lexus LBX I have seen, very nicely done and appreciate the video!
Thank you so much for watching!
Thanks Arnold, superb review
Thank you!
Just got our sports luxury in Australia. Loving everything, paricularly the interior and the hybrid system!
The interior is very nice indeed, the LBX is a true Lexus in that respect!
Thinking buying one, what is the back seat legroom like ?
It's not very roomy, but neither very cramped. For a family with younger children it will work, but for adults it's only fun on shorter drives.
@@Carnold_YT Thanks for replying. Looking at the Lexus Australia websites I can’t find any accessories to add to the LBX. Things like a bonnet protector would be nice. I’ve seen a white LBX with a black roof. It’s a good looking car.
Hey Jenson, I'm planning on putting a deposit on a sports luxury as well....did you find the rear seats accommodative enough for child seats and did it have enough leg room?
Great review thanks - good luck with your channel
Thank you so much!
Thanks for this review. Good video.
Thanks for watching!
Great informative review, looks like a great car, well done Lexus
Thanks for your comment, much appreciated!
Good review, very thorough and enjoyble at the same time. The LBX is an absolute beauty, I really like it. When I first saw it, I thought it was a hot hatch. But the one thing I can't find anywhere is anyone discussing the ride quality on the AWD model with the double wishbone suspension (in the rear). Although the AWD trim seems pointless as it only has 6hp or something on the rear axle (?!) that double wishbone suspension is what really intrigues me.
I guess I'll have to go and book a test drive to see for myself...
Thanks!
Thanks for watching! If you go on a testdrive with the AWD model, let me know what your thoughts are!
@@Carnold_YT will be happy to. All the best 😊
Looks like a very good little car but new car prices have gone nuts these days, over €40k for this. Even with a Lexus badge that's far too much in such a congested market. Thanks for the review Arnold
Hi Mike, those are ofcourse the Dutch prices, with the high tax rates included (about € 10.000). But indeed, car prices have skyrocketed - mandatory safety- and emission systems don't come cheap. Ten years ago you would have bought a nice Lexus IS for this kind of money...
Gewoon een prima karretje , ik heb hem in Duitsland gekocht voor 31500€ nieuw.
Dat is een prima deal!
Does it have the same low rev resonation at 80km/u as the Yaris?
Looks are Great!
Nope, that is programmed out Ed.
Hallo
Thank you for clip
Does lexus uses easy fuel system like ford?you forgot mention it.
which transmission lexus uses on this car? eCVT?or CVT(the one with metal belt?
It is an e-CVT transmission, without belts. The LBX has a normal cap on the fuel filler. Thank you for your comment!
I think the rear window is small and you don't have a good view. I am right ? I want your opinion. Thanks
Yes it is small, and that is the case with a lot of cars in this class. Only the Nissan Qashqai has large windows, that car has great overall visibility. Thanks for your question!
16:49 ..Mazda logo on the storage into the console ??
nice review Arnold , fine job 😋
That is my notebook, it got it on a Mazda press launch, hence the logo. You have got a sharp eye for details!
@@Carnold_YT oke, sorry , thanks for your honest answer , nice video
The quality of the video is very low. The camera 🎥 is moving around and wasn’t informative enough. You definitely need to spent more time watching videos of people who know what they’re doing…
I'm working on it!
