That's one of many reasons Head make music Kayla. He wants to inspire people to do good and change their life around and hopefully come to Christ as he did. I am going to pray for you and hope you don't mind but I read this and felt lead to do it so here goes. Heavenly father I come to you and lift Kayla's name up unto you lord. I pray you give this young woman peace from all the darkness that torment her lord and heal her from her depression and all that make it hard for her to live life as you intended us to live lord. Fill her with the love only you can give and show her the peace of mind you offer to us all. Jesus I thank you for this blessing and praise you. Jesus it is in thy holy name I pray amen. God be with you always Kayla :)
God really knows how to pick the best singers 😉 all glory to God for saving Brian Welch! I used to listen to him when he was with Korn. Sheeeshhh favorite singer turned Christian. Thank God. Now I have a favorite band again for the Good side. Glory to God !
Head is a man who was given the world, you had every luxury at his mercy, and he was given a choice, a better life or to continue stumbling over himself in the chaos of his life. He chose life, he put himself in a better place, and he is reborn and his legacy continues. He's a real man. :)
I’ve now been 15 months sober after almost dying in a motorcycle accident, and am finally getting my life back on track, about a year ago I turned my life over to God and things have changed in my life in drastic ways. Praise God for saving me, for opening my eyes to my old way of life and how sinful I was.
Thanks for this song Head. I now know its about your wife. I relate it to my best friend Samuel Kincaid, he died during my drug days. I know he's in heaven. He was a true Follower of Christ. Ill always love you brother.
As much as I love my now ex girlfriend, it took us breaking up for me to regain my faith in Jesus Christ. Since being saved and giving my life away, I’ve given up my lustful desires that I was a slave to. I gave up marijuana as it was clouding my judgement from God. And I’ve changed my musical taste from the secular music I’ve been listening to to more things like this. Thank you guys for still giving me the ability to enjoy Rock and praise God! I’m still going through the storm of the breakup, but I wouldn’t change a thing as it brought me back to Christ. Now all I can do is hope and pray she’ll eventually come back, but that’s not up to me, I pray that God has her as a part of his plan for me. Keep me in your prayers brothers and sisters. ❤ Christ is King
This song reminds me of the time when I was really struggling with self harm. When I finally did something about it (praying to God, talking to someone) I got better. I couldn't have done it without Christ.
L&D.... you guys have no idea how this song has allowed me to get over things in my life that I never thought I would get through. I cannot WAIT for new music from you guys. You blew me out of the park with Between Here and Lost.... I can't imagine what's on the horizon!!!
Saw them open at KoRN in Big Flats.....these guys are DAMN good !! I am a 45 year old dinosaur who can shred an axe himself, here to say that these guys are all professional, no kid games (no pun intended). Hope Welch keeps the solo gig AND stays with KoRN..my kids love this band and KoRN, they r on a roll that we ALL need

It's my friend, Laura Snyder's birthday today. She would've turned 24 had she not commited suicide a few years back. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you, but this song by Love And Death certainly reminds me of you and brings me closure. This song is for you, Laura. Happy 24th Birthday. We miss you.

For any clarity if needed (although I think most people will gather this), the song is about losing a loved one, and specifically a friend Brian lost to cancer. When I saw Love and Death live in Sacramento he briefly talked about this before playing it.

Brian wasn't actually the soul of the band, he was the influence of most the rifs and helped create Monky's Style in the band. That said when Brian left for the sort time the band kinda fell apart.
This is one of those songs that has music that goes along perfectly with the lyrics. I don't believe that there is a way to make this better. If you like this song you might also like Demon Hunter's Carry Me Down. It has a similar vibe and powerful lyrics.

Such a beautiful song~~ :')
I love this man! Him and his songs kick ass
love this song
was he the soul of Korn ?
+Pat X yup
+Plink ingz Yep but he's back for good now.
Read fieldy and heads books wow they all grew up together
Yep
Brian wasn't actually the soul of the band, he was the influence of most the rifs and helped create Monky's Style in the band. That said when Brian left for the sort time the band kinda fell apart.
This is one of those songs that has music that goes along perfectly with the lyrics. I don't believe that there is a way to make this better. If you like this song you might also like Demon Hunter's Carry Me Down. It has a similar vibe and powerful lyrics.
That song is absolutely perfect in every way. Demon hunter is an amazing band
