If I understand correctly, it's a background in bridge photography, which led to countless hours of "random monkey footage" and eventually the ability to tell a different tale, one based more on chronological archiving, and then a good memory on where to look... the photography background makes it really possible for the capturing of footage in top-notch ways, to ensure it can be useful, regardless of what happens down the road EDIT: as a prim example, take a look at all the thumbnails... As a basic photo-101 tactic, it's best to cut the image into 9 squares, placing the focal point, not just in the middle square, but rather place 4 seperate focal points at the 4 intersecting corners of the center square. By doing this simple tactic alone, remembering that video is nothing more than a bunch of individual photos strung together, and it should become apparent how this VO is constantantly letting the monkeys set the stage as time passes... Oh absolutely!! He's wonderful at storytelling as well. A.M doesn't even COMPARE to those Vo's in Cambodia. I've always said, those people in Cambodia are from another planet lol seriously though. It's because they just seem to be missing compassion for animals. Not only for the macaques (mind you those monkey's are supposed to be very special to them) but also the other animals like dog's, cat's etc. I've see how they treat animals over there. Poor things.
Loved this. Teeny kept looking back for him and then stopped in the middle of the road and waited for him. Teeny was trying to find her troop and wasn’t really running away because she kept looking for him at the same time. Him patting her on the back was so kind and comforting for her. A pure act of kindness❤
For a lone male to comfort a lone female seems unusual enough, but he was so sweet with her and those Pat's on the back were really touching. I hope her troop is O.K.
This is a prime example that primates have compassion, sympathy and above all of understanding! There is no disputing the actions of both Teeny and her male protector. Their body language says it all, it does not lie. As always, another great video Arroz. Thank you for showing the world that primates have intelligence. 🙏

Yes!!! PREACH!!!! The last 60 seconds of this video is my thought exactly when I come across those other channels with the ability to be shameless & proud of the harm they cause these animals. Your Chanel is truly unique in your commitment to advocate for them & tell the real story. As well and your respect for them as a visitor In their home 👏🤗 We need more VOs out there like you, thank you!
Yup ! He preaches alright. Talks about selective feeding causing problems among troops. Yet, on one of his videos he did exactly that. While looking for a couple of young males he felt sorry for one and decided to give it a sweet potato in front of the other males. Granted he did say that the one he gave the potato to could defend himself, but that’s still causes a problem in the ranks of that troop,
The male was lonely, craved contact, missed his family & home. Probably never wanted to leave. I think he got as much or more from their encounter than she did. It had probably been a long time since he had held 'someone', been groomed, felt genuinely needed...so important to a male...something like that. He left feeling better than he'd felt in a long time.
@@chloeshann8142 yeah just come along and poop on someone else's thoughtful observations. These critters do have feelings towards each other. Pay closer attention.
I think this Batchelor had a very loving and caring Mother. She taught him by caring for him, and he passed it on to Teeny. With the patting on the back for comfort as I am sure his mother did to him. I did not see him after Teeny found her troop and was happily eating. I think he will be another Grandee.
I remember another episode when Teeny's mum was gone, leaving Teeny all day. She grew hungry and scavaged all day, only to have her mother come and empty her cheek pouches. I was so upset but Teeny just kept doing what was necessary to live. A remarkable little monkey!
and then he just kept his distance. and didnt even try to integrate into her group. the way some males would. he was a good samaritan. he was teenys hero. and teeny is a pretty damn serious monkey compared to most. very little does she ever play. i bet she was in great distress.
Teeny is so cute, she started out not to good when a baby but thru her persistence she survived her mom taking her hard found food out of her mouth all the time! She’s a survivor!
If I want drama and I am in the mood for arguing, I will tune in to demon tv (video) in Cambodia. But when I am willing to learn and learn from someone who respects these beautiful animals, I turn on my Arroz. I lost my dad Monday, 9/6/21, and many times in the last couple days have had to fight back my urge to argue away my pain. Saving some poor soul! But I chose to watch my babies and find my choice of moms hasn't popped yet! Reddy, come on! I love watching the true animals and not the drama. Thank you, Arroz, for loving and caring for these animals and most of all THANK YOU FOR YOUR HONESTY!
My most favorite vid to date! That male came to her rescue, comforted her, let her take the lead in the direction she wanted to go to find her troup but stayed close until she needed reassurance again. He carried her high so she would have a better view and her calls would go further. His patting her on the back was just amazing. I’m glad Teeny thanked him with a little grooming. And a lonely bachelor can always use a little hug and cuddle on occasion. Maybe we’ll see more of that handsome fellow!
It made me sad when Teeny rounded the last corner and the male just slipped into the forest. He never once gave up on taking care of her and then he was just gone. Although I think Teeny was comforted by him the only thing on her mind was goodies and her protector never got anything. I know he didn’t rescue her expecting anything from it but it still kinda makes me feel bad for him. I could definitely picture him as an alpha, he has the same loving personality as Grandee.🥰
As a bachelor male he had to put himself away from the troop otherwise somebody might become aggressive and force him out I don't think he left her alone I bet he was in the force just watching to see if she actually found a loving member of her troop. But again as a human I put my emotions on to them which is not far off but it is different.
Awe, that was such a sweet video Arroz!!! I just love how he kept patting her on her back. He probably would have stayed with her all night until she found her troop. They sure are interesting lovable little critters aren't they??? One of your best videos ever, and that's saying alot because they are all fantastic... Well done sir well done🥰❣❣🥰
That is so special, he was trying to comfort her. He patted her back and did some grooming, I thought it was amazing! You do so awesome in filming a situation that others wouldn’t see. How you can remember their names and who’s who is beyond me. You have talent and a lot of knowledge about these monkeys. Thanks for sharing Teeny’s story, I loved it♥️🐵🐵♥️🐒🐒♥️
That was too precious how the male kept patting Teeny as if to comfort and reassure her.❤️. But Teeny, being Teeny, had her ears tuned to humans (goodies) passing by. The male just patiently followed her and she kept running away. In a way I think Teeny was comforted that he was there but she didn’t want to miss a chance to get any goodies, comfort or not.😂
I thought Teeny had her ears and eyes attuned to any sound or sight of her kin..first and foremost..then food! That male monkey who comforted and protected him, was wonderful.
@@freedomunltd She was initially calling for her troop but then after the male arrived and she heard the people on the road she ran down there and sat in the road hoping for goodies but the male kept moving her to higher ground so she had to keep running back down to the road. I’m sure initially she was calling for family but after the male showed up she had goodies on her mind.☺️
@@trishplanck9776 I don’t think so….I think she kept running down toward the road beacause she was looking for her family. When those 2 walkers went by she was air scenting and skittered off when they got close….she didn’t beg for food, I think she was just trying to find her troupe, but she kept coming back to that bachelor to make sure he didn’t disappear too…. I think she was scenting the road to see if her troup had been by.
@@myshadowridge You’re probably right, it just looked to me like she was listening for people. They have body language we’ll never understand so I think that’s why they are so fascinating.☺️
I believe he was trying to give her reassuring and help. And as Social Scientist, is nice to see people caring for Wildlife animals like monkeys instead of exploited them with lies. Please keep doing what are you doing.
I just saw a video by a couple that have a whole bunch of exotic and endangered animals and they were showing a little chimpanzee and two bigger chimpanzees one was obviously in the mother the woman was holding the female champ giving it a bottle and the mother was having to touch and then hold the bottle for the baby there was no need for that if the mother couldn't feed it the mother could have been holding the baby and giving the bottle it was just sad and then there was all these other animals like cheetahs and such what you know chimpanzees don't wear dresses they they climb trees they don't go around the city and backpacks. It just we have to stop watching these we have to give thumbs down we have to report we have to find a way to make this so uncomfortable for people that they don't make the money to continue what they're doing on the videos. Sorry for the run-on sentences I have to do voice and I forget to say. Thank you all who stay with this channel because this is the channel that reminds us what we should be doing and how we should be doing it better.
I’ve only see a handful ever pat the back like us human Mother’s do. I wonder if they seen us do it and picked it up or off some just have a special gift
Isn't it touching!? And it makes me laugh a bit in how he does it! Open handed & a little stiff - that sort of inexperienced guy, but still making his best effort thing! 😂 The whole scenario is just so sweet, am glad we got to see it...
Teeny seemingly keeps running and looking for her troop and he keeps running to her, hugging and patting her. She keeps calling. Do not even try to tell me Rhesus Macaques have no compassion for each other. He obviously knew what it was like to be out of his natal troop and helped her find hers. AM, thank you for the beautiful video of the interaction.
Poor little Teeny! She was alone & scared, & calling for mom. He just wanted to help. I don't know if she knew him, but she wasn't afraid of him. She ran on ahead, looking for the troop, but went back to him. She was grateful for his care of her. A few hugs & pats on the back, mean a lot when your alone & scared.
Just to show you they have no clue that was absolutely the sweetest thing he helped her n took care of her! Thank u for showing us real wildlife n not that edited lies they sell!! Love your vids keep up the great work what your doing is a wonderful thing if no one else has said it let me I’m very proud of you and for you!!!!
I truly believe monkeys have compassion for each other. You have shown us so very many examples of it over the years. That’s what makes your videos so special - natural, unscripted day to day interactions of these monkeys.
Same thoughts. Unscripted videos is the way people can see the real nature of monkeys. Is nice to see someone doing justice to this creatures, presenting them for who they are not what malicious people want to sell them to be.
Such a beautiful male. The only other time I've seen anything like this was with Bessie. Her brother Brody carried her when she was injured, and he (like this male) allowed her to use him as a pacifier. We all know how special Brody is. So Teeny has a special male in her life too who answered her worrisome coos, comforted her 100x over. I'm more than thrilled she has him in her life.
He gave Teeny a it is gonna be ok pats on the back! Does he think she is a yearling due to her small size? Definetly came to her resque and is protecting and comforting her.
He was definitely coming to her rescue the way he was petting her back and following behind her for a good distance until she found her true he knew she wanted to find her troop and he watched over her until she did
Oh my goodness. He is comforting her as she searches for her troop. The patting on her back is so precious. She runs off looking and he comes to her when she finds nothing. He also takes her up high so they can see better.
I love the way he kept patting her back. I don’t think this can be misinterpreted. He definitely was keeping her safe and reassured until she found her family. I loved it. I’ll have to say Arroz I’ve seen all of your videos and this is by far the best one.
I've see this one time before, with the monkeys in Siem Seap, Cambodia. There was a mom, Popeye, who lost her son Polino for hours. When she finally found him, she patted him a few times for comfort! It was so lovely to watch! ❤
He was definitely helping Teeny. He wasn’t letting her out of his sight. I love the way he would hold her and pat her back to comfort her. It just shows how wrong so many others have portrayed them! Thanks for another great video!
Wow. How awesome was it to see the big male comforting her by patting her on the back . Its like he knew she was lost and afraid . I think its pretty neat to see them showing compassion like a human !!!
There used to be a bachelor with Teeny when she was younger. Could this possibly be the same bachelor? Perhaps I may be mistaken but I remember some bachelor would hang around and play with a small female and it was speculated that the bachelor may be closely related. I am almost certain that was Teeny. Nevertheless, this bachelor was there not only to comfort but aid her in finding her troop. It appears that he was calling out as well. Very great footage and revealing how compassionate they truly are.
Yes, an adult male was always nearby Teeny when she was lil. Usually @ feeding time by the road. Arroz said a few times that he was likely her father. But, he was one that had a face affected like Lowina's probably from cruel, idjit abusers throwing acid in their faces. At times I wish our lil cousins weren't just knee high nor so skittish & could fight back with these cowardly losers. Anyway, a couple episodes showed Teeny run to sit by his side when she felt scared.
@@lindseystyles5232 I truly do not know. However, there was a male monkey from either the Philippines, I believe named Brutus who seemed to be a living Father, before he was cruelly killed. Also, Grandee is exhibits nuturing traits. But I'm no expert. Arroz is though.
He heard her calls for help, came and guarded her, then helped her find her troop. Your viewers appreciate the true picture you provide of the true nature of these compassionate, caring creatures from whom we are descended.
I like your comment, but I disagree that we descended from Monkeys. Our DNAs do not match, but besides that, I know man and woman were created from God. You may disagree as well. Anyway, I love these monkeys. They are so awesome.
@@sshelget I'm not gonna argue if we descent from monkeys or not! But if scientists say we do, then to me it's so! Studies proof that we share 98% dna with bonobos!
@@patriciasanches9545 :). I agree. 98%. But that’s not 100% and you CANNOT be off by ANY percentage. :). But you are right. It’s not worth “arguing” about. We both love the monkeys and that is the important thing.
@@sshelget I agree with you. Science is a constantly changing "knowledge". Honest scientists will affirm this. But Both you and Patricia are on track, we do love our monkeys and the way Arroz presents their lives to us.
I agree with all the other viewers. He was definitely there for her. You don't see much of that in Our world. We could all take a lesson from these wonderful creatures. Thanks for sharing this beautiful interaction with us, Arroz. You're a blessing!
Without question it looked as though he was not only protecting her but comforting her. He was even patting her back as a sign of reassurance. I say this for a couple reasons: 1. He kept following her whenever she'd bolt. 2. He'd hug her and carry her just as a mother would without ever frightening her or making moves that would spook her. I do think he may of been a member of that troop, at one on time, which could explain why she didn't seem startled by his presence. He even could've been a relative, one we're unfamiliar with. Wow! I can see why you'd be amazed by this. This proves that they are capable of empathy but more importantly displaying it. Absolutely amazing.
He was absolutely comforting her and didnt want to leave her alone until she found her troop! What a precious video and what amazing primates they are! This just made my heart happy…. If only us humans would be so kind and loving towards thy neighbor, imagine what a better world we would live in!!❤️❤️
I think he was protecting and comforting Teeny. She certainly wanted him to stay with her. He never tried to restrain her. When he patted her back and snuggled her was absolutely precious.
That was touching and precious. He was trying to comfort him and help the little one find his troop while keeping him safe. I have never seen the mothers comfort their little ones with the patting to the extent this male did. What a fine example of compassion.
This is my opinion the lone bachelor was trying to help Teeny find her troop Teeny was making a distress call and he answered that call and from what I seen he was comforting her by hugging and patting her back and she was thanking him by grooming him and he stayed with her until she found her troop so yes I believe that they have compassion for one another thanks for that beautiful video Arroz👍🙏❤🐒
Bless her, TEENY knows monkey etiquette!! She was thanking him (by grooming) for being compassionate to her!!! 😌😌 He even follows her to ensure her safety!! The PURE compassion brought tears to my eyes!!😢
I think the bachelor is trying to help teeny and keeping her company until she find her troop. Poor bachelor, didn't get any goodies. Or maybe ..he is related to Teeny, probably Tina's oldest son.
Wow, amazing to watch. This male monkey was there for one reason only, to comfort and watch over Teeny. Not only once did he pat Teeny on the back but several times. There is only one reason for this behavior that one cannot deny, he was comforting Teeny. Fantastic job on this video! Very insightful and pretty awesome to witness this all.
I was touched by the purity of their friendship and really affection. The male patted her in such a reassuring way. Thet are such beautiful creatures trying to get through each day.. thank you for sharing this part of there lives..
That was the sweetest thing I’ve seen these beautiful creatures do! He was most definitely comforting Teeny and trying to help her!! Thank you for sharing!!
I love the way he pats her to reassure her. She seems to trust him or she wouldn’t have gone back or waited for him. Although I’m not sure if her curled toes indicates concern or that’s just left over from grabbing mom’s fur.
Oh no doubt about it, that male bachelor was there to comfort Teeny. It was really beautiful to watch. It seemed he, for a short while took on the role of either daddy or big brother. Hmmm, could he possibly be an older brother of Teeny's? Or perhaps am Uncle? Nevertheless, you perfectly captured a very special event in which a lone, little girl monkey got reassurance from this bachelor monkey on all sides. He even patted her as she clung to him as if to say, "you are okay, no need to fear." And then Teeny would grow restless and she would take off like a shot! Then here comes that male monkey and scoops her up again! So perfectly captured, Uncle Arroz!!
I wonder if possibly that male could be Teeny’s unknown older brother. Tina has a very distinct long narrow face, and that male had a very similar long narrow face; he actually resembled Tina, in my opinion. Maybe he is a much older brother, and due to being a bachelor, he was roaming around in outskirts of his natal troop and heard his sister’s cries. Teeny seemed to show no hesitation in going with him when he came to her. I would think, being that she is a little bit older now, that she would be at least be concerned about who the male was and if there was a strange troop nearby that she should worry about. My suspicion is that she knows that male and is related to him somehow.
When I first saw how the lone bachelor was comforting Teeny, I thought about how comforting Bossie's son Brody is and also how Grandee is with the young babies and yearlings. Males can be as compassionate as females. Great video AM.
I've thought the same too. I first viewed Grandee and how he interacted with the young ones. I was quite surprised to see that side of a male. Well, I learn something everyday.
One of your best videos Arroz. Showing the love and compassion for each other. He heard her cries and came to help with hugs and pats. Didn't leave her until she found her family. Troops should show more compassion for the lone males and let them hang with them. Our society needs to take note. 😀💕👍🙏
Poor little Teeny looks a bit, scared & confused. The male that "pulled" on Teeny, seemed to be trying to let her know that he cares, about her. When I 1st began to watch I wasn't sure, however, after watching a bit longer, I realized, he was trying to comfort her. Thanks for giving us another "view" of some of the most BEAUTIFUL, INTELLIGENT, FUNNY, SWEET, AS WELL AS, LOVING creatures, we have in our world !!!! THANK YOU !!!!
You are an amazing person! Thank you for your dedication and the hard work you do to capture glimpses into the lives of these beautiful animals in their natural habitat! It's so sad that the evil VO'S out there think it's OK to violate, abuse and murder these kinds of animals for views and money. I hope there is a special place in hell for those people. Peace, happiness, good health and safely always be with you!
What an amazing catch Arroz, you must be so thrilled to have been there and witnessed it. The male was surely comforting Teeny & she in return groomed him. What I don't understand is how Teeny didn't get the memo that the feeder was going to be in a different spot, lol.
An incredible video! He was comforting and protecting Teeny. It may be anthropomorphism on my part, but it the behavior certainly appeared to be empathy to me!
Teeny is about 2 now. Still smaller than other 2 year olds. And it boggles the mind to think in about 2 or so years, she will be fertile and could become a mum herself. Hope she grows a bit more.
I think there’s one other ethical videographer with similar content, but I can’t remember the name. The shady Cambodian VO channels are so easy to spot because they constantly show babies being killed or mistreated, like way more than would happen in nature. They purposely fuck with the monkeys by feeding them out of order to cause turmoil.
Oh Teeny and her goodies 😂. Im not surprised she’d be the first one to the feeding spot 😂. I could totally see her jumping the gun and running ahead of the rest of the troop to get her goodies as quickly as possible 😂. Only then to have the feeders go elsewhere lol. She’s such a spaz sometimes, I love it 🤣.
This is the most precious thing I have seen in a very long time. The way he was patting Teeny’s back to keep her calm. He kept up with her to make sure she wasn’t in harms way. Thank you for shedding some light on one of the most human acts of kindness in primates that I have seen. Wow, I will have a smile on my face and heart for the rest of the day just thinking of this.
8:20 *WOW, THAT IS TRULY GREAT FOOTAGE OF TEENY, SEEING THE PATTING I'M GUESSING.....* the lone bachelor wanted a bit of friendship, comfort, grooming & etc, then mix w/feeling bad for a lone young monkey being scared, he went to help....AMAZING, THANK YOU!!
He comforted teeny and helped her finally found her troop. It was so sweet how he kept patting her on the back. Love this video. Love teeny. She has been the sweetest baby ever growing up.
Your videos are proof in themselves. Love them all. Love monkey hill. Never knew it's existence till 1 year ago. Wish I could travel there, but can't. So thanks a bunch for sharing with us, the humans
I hope more come to your channel from the others, you've got such a good point! That was too cool!!! I definitely think he was being nice, didn't quite have the nice back patting down, he was rough lol. He never held Teeny against her will and was always just a step behind if she got nervous again. I really enjoyed this one
Thank You AM for wtaching over Teeny and let your followers understand how she survived. She was really dependent on fellow monkeys, AM and feeders to survive and every time I see her in your videos I feel so greatful that she made it. That lone bachelor to me is acting altruistic. It is not just an instinct but also willfully I think. We have a lot more incommon with many species than many people care to think. Teeny is a bit of a relative now 😍
He doesn't have a name as far as I can tell, but this bachelor that rescued Teeny just showed up in one of Arroz's latest videos on the other channel and he and Teeny got to reconnect a bit, it seems like he's trying to make his way into her troop. EDIT: I've since found out his name is William and he is officially a member of Teeny's troop. He has formed a coalition with her family and it's highly likely she will have his offspring once she comes of age.
He did keep going after her & after a bit of cuddlin she'd seem to be sprinting to get away from him but then she'd stop to wait for him & he'd take her a bit farther to climb a tree or the cliff & she'd sprint away again only to stop for him tagging along after her. Whether he was related or not it sure seemed that he was definitely there to comfort and help lil Teeny girl. She's still the sweetest on the Hill!
The bachelor saw teeny in destress, he took her, I believe to give her assurance and comfort that she wasn't alone, if we pay attention, we could learn something from these monkey's, these monkey's are a tight knit community which I find fascinating 🤗 They probably thought it was the end of the world for them, considering NOBODY else was around, I would have thought so😌
Totally amazing! Such kindness & compassion! One of your best videos Uncle Arroz. Thank you so much! Stay safe & well out there fans. Virus is raging here in the US! Many fully vaccinated are getting very sick. Area hospitals have no room & ICU full!
Probably mutual, He looked a little older, like 3 or 4 years since he got the boot from his natal troop and he was happy to have some company. If primates and humans have a lot of behaviors in common, then macaque males would derive some sense of purpose and satisfaction at helping and caring for a smaller female in distress. For teeny's part, being a member of such a large troop, she's probably never found herself completely isolated like this before, you can see that in the way she was calling for mom in the beginning. I'm surprised at how readily she took to this male, she must be at lease a little familiar with him.
I think the lone bachelor was reassuring teeny that everything is alright, I'm here for you, and you'll never walk alone. Patting her on the back was comforting for her.
We all pretty much think the same, she needed some comfort and he needed some grooming. They both seem to know Immediately what was happening But seriously. He was having a problem right in middle of his chest. He protected Teeny till she did something with it. All along assuring her that they would find her troop🥺
Awww❤ ths so sweet he heard her whimpers & went to comfort her now he feels the need to protect her ..His mom must was very loving & caring to him the way he pats her back is like he's reassuring her that she's ok he got her❤❤❤❤
Yes, the bachelor was comforting Tiny, but wasn't helping Tiny find the troop... but most definitely repeatedly trying to comfort a lost child. We've all see a child crying hysterically who lost their mom in public and was terrified.
The long tails in Cambodia, as I’ve argued before, the complete truth about their daily lives and habits are not shown, but instead orchestrated by the VOs. The viewers are terribly miseducated about the animals and the VOs make money as a result. What I witnessed here today I have caught tiny glimpses of with the Long Tails, but the VOs make sure to disrupt the process every time.
These evil VOs started to make 'sexual' activity scenes among the monkey babies, as you can view from this link: czcams.com/video/Ch8GzYjbM9s/video.html It's really disgusting!
@@mfadls Yes it is. The so called NGO, one of the infants they have repeatedly injured, when describing one of the injuries, it became apparent that they may have done something along the lines of what you are describing. The things they are doing are becoming more and more depraved. All we can do is fight the good fight and try to support each other and good channels like this one.

The way Arroz can set the stage, and let the monkies tell their own story is top notch. Arroz is on a different level than the cambodian VOs.
Omg YES I DONT THINK HE NEEDS TO HURT MONKEYS TO MAKE HIS MONEY- I hope he’s good!

Yup, he just films whatever they are naturally doing. No setups or BS like those Cambodian VO's.
If I understand correctly, it's a background in bridge photography, which led to countless hours of "random monkey footage" and eventually the ability to tell a different tale, one based more on chronological archiving, and then a good memory on where to look... the photography background makes it really possible for the capturing of footage in top-notch ways, to ensure it can be useful, regardless of what happens down the road
EDIT: as a prim example, take a look at all the thumbnails...
Really brilliantly put together stuff here if you ask me.

Макаки занимают второе место по агрессивности. Макаки живут только инстинктами, а черта характера у них истерия и халява. Эти животные предназначены для корма хищников.
humans are primates as well
Yes!!! PREACH!!!! The last 60 seconds of this video is my thought exactly when I come across those other channels with the ability to be shameless & proud of the harm they cause these animals.
Your Chanel is truly unique in your commitment to advocate for them & tell the real story. As well and your respect for them as a visitor In their home 👏🤗
We need more VOs out there like you, thank you!
Oh good grief! These are just wild animals being the wild animals they are. This isn't some late night soap
@@chloeshann8142 yeah just come along and poop on someone else's thoughtful observations. These critters do have feelings towards each other. Pay closer attention.
He protected and comforted her. Precious! I'll bet he was a great big brother in his natal troop, and will be a great dad like Grandee.
You are probaly right, Grandee is a awesome dad and this bachelor is a very caring one
I think this Batchelor had a very loving and caring Mother. She taught him by caring for him, and he passed it on to Teeny. With the patting on the back for comfort as I am sure his mother did to him. I did not see him after Teeny found her troop and was happily eating. I think he will be another Grandee.
I remember another episode when
Teeny's mum was gone, leaving Teeny all day. She grew hungry and scavaged all day, only to have her mother come and empty her cheek pouches. I was so upset but Teeny just kept doing what was necessary
to live. A remarkable little monkey!
I was thinking the same thing!!
Agree with all three of you ❤
The male protected Teeny as well as comfort her! To me that’s caring and empathy…. he stayed with her until she was safe!🙉💕💕 Awesome!
and then he just kept his distance. and didnt even try to integrate into her group. the way some males would. he was a good samaritan. he was teenys hero. and teeny is a pretty damn serious monkey compared to most. very little does she ever play. i bet she was in great distress.
I agree. Very touching.
I truly believe the bachelor was comforting Tiny. The way he patted Tiny on the back was priceless!! Just like we do!!!
I agree with you.
I laughed each time he did it!!! I absolutely LOVE that Arroz got this on video!!! 😍😍😍
@@MaryThomas-gu6bj My sincere condolences to you to your entire family. Thanks for being honest about your feelings. Take care ❤️🙏
Beautifully said!!
Hopefully
It made me sad when Teeny rounded the last corner and the male just slipped into the forest. He never once gave up on taking care of her and then he was just gone. Although I think Teeny was comforted by him the only thing on her mind was goodies and her protector never got anything. I know he didn’t rescue her expecting anything from it but it still kinda makes me feel bad for him. I could definitely picture him as an alpha, he has the same loving personality as Grandee.🥰
Well, she did groom him a number of times which is the number one way macaques say "thank you" or "I'm sorry."
As a bachelor male he had to put himself away from the troop otherwise somebody might become aggressive and force him out I don't think he left her alone I bet he was in the force just watching to see if she actually found a loving member of her troop. But again as a human I put my emotions on to them which is not far off but it is different.
She groomed him several times. There's footage of it in the video.
@Matt Combs well what a wet blanket you are haha 😄
This is just amazing how he pats her on the back as if to say everything will be alright.
I’ve only see a handful ever pat the back like us human Mother’s do. I wonder if they seen us do it and picked it up or off some just have a special gift
@@bethb7455 That was my thought Beth B. Such a human mother gesture. Thank you Arroz for showing us these loving, precious monkeys! 🐇
Oopoooooop
Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuddiîuup
It is strange watching him pat her back to comfort her. It looks so incredibly human!
I agree. Well said.
@MACAQUEMOM 2020 I think he was just reassuring her that he was there and it was all ok. This was indeed a great catch for us to see!
@MACAQUEMOM 2020 it's beautiful, isn't it? I wish people can see the true about Monkeys not the false image that many malicious people trying to sell.
So true👍🐒❤
Such a beautiful male. The only other time I've seen anything like this was with Bessie. Her brother Brody carried her when she was injured, and he (like this male) allowed her to use him as a pacifier. We all know how special Brody is. So Teeny has a special male in her life too who answered her worrisome coos, comforted her 100x over. I'm more than thrilled she has him in her life.
Could he be Brody?
He gave Teeny a it is gonna be ok pats on the back! Does he think she is a yearling due to her small size? Definetly came to her resque and is protecting and comforting her.
He was definitely coming to her rescue the way he was petting her back and following behind her for a good distance until she found her true he knew she wanted to find her troop and he watched over her until she did
Deff came to the rescue ive never even seen a mother comfort her baby like that
Oh my goodness. He is comforting her as she searches for her troop. The patting on her back is so precious. She runs off looking and he comes to her when she finds nothing. He also takes her up high so they can see better.
I've never seen one keep patting them on the back to comfort, pretty neat
I know that was so cool! The Vervet Monkeys and baboons do it to.
@@patriciasanches9545 🥲🥲🥲Happy tears🥲🥲🥲
He was definitely helping Teeny. He wasn’t letting her out of his sight. I love the way he would hold her and pat her back to comfort her. It just shows how wrong so many others have portrayed them! Thanks for another great video!
Love rewatching this video. Thank you Mr. Bachelor for keeping teeny safe and comforting her until she found her troop
Wow. How awesome was it to see the big male comforting her by patting her on the back . Its like he knew she was lost and afraid . I think its pretty neat to see them showing compassion like a human !!!
I love how she always holds her dainty little hands in her chest, and how fluffy she is. I just want to hug her.
You’re a hero bring to light the true nature of these beautiful monkeys.
I remember that too. I wonder if this is him, great thought.
Interesting, do you think males know when they father a monkey? Is it normal for males to nurture babies? Teeny is adorable.
@@lindseystyles5232 I truly do not know. However, there was a male monkey from either the Philippines, I believe named Brutus who seemed to be a living Father, before he was cruelly killed. Also, Grandee is exhibits nuturing traits. But I'm no expert. Arroz is though.
@@Jadeisacolortoo Brutus was in Cambodia, and one of the monkeys sadly affected by the unscrupulous channels Arroz mentioned at the end of the video.
@@sshelget Amen! 🙏🏻
I say this for a couple reasons:
Her feet hanging out the back is too cute!! Haha. Those back pats would seem to be comforting her.
Our handsome and caring male was probably responding to Teeny's cries. He did such a great job with our girl.
Yes he did i thought it was awesome the way he patted her my back
He was absolutely comforting her and didnt want to leave her alone until she found her troop! What a precious video and what amazing primates they are! This just made my heart happy…. If only us humans would be so kind and loving towards thy neighbor, imagine what a better world we would live in!!❤️❤️
He showed care, protection, affection & comfort, More than ive seen from some mothers. Teeny should intriduce him to mom, he's quite the catch!!!🐒🐵❤
And silly ppl say they have no feelings. Look closely and you witness.
I hope he gets a troop of his own. He seems like he’d been a Grandee-style hand-on kind of Papa to his kids!
Such a sweet and special guide on what could have ended up so differently for our guy.
It looks like he was comforting her and protecting her until the troop could be found.
I am totally amazed, the way he comforts her ADORABLE 😍 😄
Bless her, TEENY knows monkey etiquette!! She was thanking him (by grooming) for being compassionate to her!!! 😌😌 He even follows her to ensure her safety!! The PURE compassion brought tears to my eyes!!😢
I just love watching this act of kindness over and over again. ❤
I think the bachelor is trying to help teeny and keeping her company until she find her troop. Poor bachelor, didn't get any goodies. Or maybe ..he is related to Teeny, probably Tina's oldest son.
Looks to me like a very kind male that took pity on his cries.
He was protecting the little Teney and Teney showed his respect and thanked him with a little groooming ! A beautiful thing in my book thanks!
I was touched by the purity of their friendship and really affection. The male patted her in such a reassuring way. Thet are such beautiful creatures trying to get through each day.. thank you for sharing this part of there lives..
It sure looks like he was comforting her because most would've kept moving or accosted her.
That was the sweetest thing I’ve seen these beautiful creatures do! He was most definitely comforting Teeny and trying to help her!! Thank you for sharing!!
That's one of the sweetest things I've seen in a long while!!!
I love the way he pats her to reassure her. She seems to trust him or she wouldn’t have gone back or waited for him. Although I’m not sure if her curled toes indicates concern or that’s just left over from grabbing mom’s fur.
He has such a loving disposition, so caring and comforting to Teeny. I hope someday he becomes an Alpha. 💖💖💖
Hey AM , wow what a rare sighting yet beautiful. Bless that young man’s heart so loving. Thank you ♥️🐒🐒♥️
Oh no doubt about it, that male bachelor was there to comfort Teeny.
I also wondered if they might be related.🤔
I believe he was just a kindly man trying to help a little boy. What a sweet man.
Poor little Teeny looks a bit,
scared & confused.
The male that "pulled" on
Teeny, seemed to be trying to let her know that he
cares,about her.
When I 1st began to watch
I wasn't sure, however, after watching a bit longer, I realized, he was trying to comfort her.
Thanks for giving us another "view" of some of the most BEAUTIFUL, INTELLIGENT, FUNNY,
SWEET, AS WELL AS, LOVING creatures, we have

THANK YOU !!!!
You are an amazing person! Thank you for your dedication and the hard work you do to capture glimpses into the lives of these beautiful animals in their natural habitat! It's so sad that the evil VO'S out there think it's OK to violate, abuse and murder these kinds of animals for views and money. I hope there is a special place in hell for those people. Peace, happiness, good health and safely always be with you!
Love how the big male would pat his back when they would hug each other. 🥰
Arroz’s humanity is unique on all of CZcams. His videos are always informative.
Teeny is about 2 now. Still smaller than other 2 year olds. And it boggles the mind to think in about 2 or so years, she will be fertile and could become a mum herself. Hope she grows a bit more.
I'm pretty sure you're the only videographer that doesn't interfere with how they treat one another! Great work I really enjoy watching your videos.
If only we could match that compassion with our young troubled and frightened!!
Oh...so comforting to know Teeny got help in time of need. What a precious scene you caught that they care for one another. Thank you.
Yes, absolutely. That was amazing!!! You are one in a million. Thank you for that heartwarming video.
He was a gardian angel for sure. 😇 🥰🤗
Great episode..love your correct comments at the end!
It’s so cute how he keeps patting her, kind of like he’s reassuring her and saying it’s going to be OK kid, so sweet
The bachelor saw teeny in destress, he took her, I believe to give her assurance and comfort that she wasn't alone, if we pay attention, we could learn something from these monkey's, these monkey's are a tight knit community which I find fascinating 🤗
They probably thought it was the end of the world for them, considering NOBODY else was around, I would have thought so😌
The patting on the back…. That’s definitely providing comfort to the little one. It was so sweet to see that. 💙
I wondered if he might have been an older brother of Teeny’s?
I think the lone bachelor was reassuring teeny that everything is alright, I'm here for you, and you'll never walk alone. Patting her on the back was comforting for her.
That male was teeny's guardian angel
We all pretty much think the same, she needed some comfort and he needed some grooming. They both seem to know Immediately what was happening
But seriously. He was having a problem right in middle of his chest. He protected Teeny till she did something with it. All along assuring her that they would find her troop🥺
Awww❤ ths so sweet he heard her whimpers & went to comfort her now he feels the need to protect her ..His mom must was very loving & caring to him the way he pats her back is like he's reassuring her that she's ok he got her❤❤❤❤
Definitely keeping Teeny comforted and this bachelor allowed Teeny to groom him a bit.
Yes, the bachelor was comforting Tiny, but wasn't helping Tiny find the troop... but most definitely repeatedly trying to comfort a lost child. We've all see a child crying hysterically who lost their mom in public and was terrified.
Poor baby ,glad there was an adult nearby to give her comforts
The long tails in Cambodia, as I’ve argued before, the complete truth about their daily lives and habits are not shown, but instead orchestrated by the VOs. The viewers are terribly miseducated about the animals and the VOs make money as a result.
What I witnessed here today I have caught tiny glimpses of with the Long Tails, but the VOs make sure to disrupt the process every time.
These evil VOs started to make 'sexual' activity scenes among the monkey babies, as you can view from this link: czcams.com/video/Ch8GzYjbM9s/video.html
It's really disgusting!
I totally agree.
@@mfadls That poor monkey was called Axel 2yrs ago...they (the VOs) also like to recycle videos for more moola...he wasn't taught this this is how some self sooth....a teat looks alot like their male parts and so some confusion is involved...still very sad...he was still abused in other ways...
Yes, he was comforting her. I think that he liked that she set about grooming him.
