Singaporeans are currently grappling with a host of significant issues, from exorbitant HDB prices that burden young couples, to the prohibitive costs of car ownership, and the limited availability of PMET roles increasingly filled by foreign talents. What we need is not a caretaker who maintains the status quo, but a transformative leader akin to the late LKY, unbound by party lines. A leader with substantial governmental experience, wisdom, and strong character who remains grounded and deeply committed to serving both Singaporeans and the Republic of Singapore, whatever the personal sacrifice. #SingaporeanFirst 🇸🇬

PM Wong's approach to China emphasizes regional stability, but his silence on destabilizing actions underscores the complexities of navigating geopolitical tensions as China has military drills in Taiwan's space and takes aggressive actions in Philippine waters.

2024-5-20, ASEAN bloc are looking to end reliance on the U.S. dollar.
10 Countries Look To Stop Using the U.S. Dollar, Settle Trade Payments in Local Currencies Instead
Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. According to the latest figures from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), commonly called the World Bank, the combined GDP of ASEAN nations currently stands at around $4 trillion.
The move will strengthen their native economies giving local currencies a boost in the global foreign exchange markets. Several developing countries fear the rising U.S. debt of $34.4 trillion can affect their native economies and businesses. Therefore, the only solution to American debt is to make ASEAN countries use local currencies and sideline the U.S. dollar.
The U.S. pressing sanctions on other developing countries is also among the reasons why ASEAN wants to ditch the dollar. A stronger local currency will have no adverse effects from U.S. sanctions making their economies safer. In conclusion, the next decade will be different for the U.S. dollar as many nations are looking to uproot it.

PAP is a party of status quo. But, status quo is no longer tenable for Singapore's electorates. It is clear from LW's Cabinet lineup that nothing major is going to change under his leadership. Besides, it is going to be LW's first GE as PM. He is unlikely to take big risks or push for drastic changes.
Singapore needs change. Singaporeans want change. Thus, do not vote PAP. Vote for change. Vote opposition. Make LW a one term PM. Let an opposition coalition form the next government.

❤State media having this chat show. What's the motivation behind? 🤔 What's the interest?
    Is the message:
    1. For the tough problems like high cost public housing for the newer generation or buyers, need Tough or even unpopular policies but to do so, you need to give him a Huge Mandate? Who created the problem to begin with?
    2. People who support LW, if you don't give him a Huge Mandate , even if he wins but not by a huge mandate, he may be replaced? Rallying middle and existing supporter voters ?
    2. Why the two guests? Both perceivably Muslim, one ex NMP and one influencer who is a academic in state linked school? The second biggest population group is Malays or Muslims.
The ex-nmp seem to paint a picture that tough issues affecting the voters like future flat buyers if want to have the problems fixed they need tough policies which may be unpopular and need to give them a strong mandate? So why did he not suggest supporting the more and more credible opposition so that even though the gov unlikely to change, more change can come as a result of more opposition?
Did the lady host said, "which is why they need the mandate"?
Will this channel block my views from other users? I can easily find out soon.
