PNG.....SOOOOOOO green and pure....god bless...
It would be nice to see more of this kind of footage on here, thank you
so sorry, trying to reach my old college mate who is from India and met you.
Nevermind? I'm at Corpus Christi Naval Air Station, located in southeast Texas, on the southern coast of Corpus Christi Bay. I'm working as the Cyber information consultant and CCTV information carrier naval officer. Don't post much here, but you can reach my official Gmail at (megsaudibert@gmail.com) and drop a DM massage for me,so I can reach directly to you! hope you stay safe.
Ryan, great on the ground footage and nice short flight to Yembi Yembi.. Good to see the mighty Sepik (home of the puk puks)& the mower repaired.
Thanks again for the ride
Thanks Ryan for the ride, always enjoy... God bless.....

Great footage of the buildings. Living in the Western world, it is so difficult to imagine what life is like in these villages, but the vlogs help enormously. Fascinating - thank you.
Ryan you are simply one amazing human being! God bless!
More of this type would be great! Thanks for sharing your time and talent! KANSAS USA
I like to see the people you serve and what they do.I like this video. God bless you and keep you safe..
Please more of that 👍
A hard life the PNG people have but they show great resilience that’s for sure - a lesion there for many who lead a ‘have it all’ life. Bless the PNG people 🙏
Yes, more of these please😎
Thank you, enjoyed the extra at the end..
awesome episode... unique look at things..
OMG sago is soooooooo goooooood! Sago in coconut milk/cream with passionfruit or mango, or lemon/lime, etc. Love it!
Thx for the walk around!
You bet!
Thanks for sharing the walkabout. Wow, that is some thick jungle.
Enjoyed the shots in the back of the plane while your were off-loading the drums at the beginning and the ground tour at the end. Great to see all the kids.
Thanks for watching
Many thanks for the extra content, it really gives it all a bit more!
Glad you enjoy it!
Awesome video, Ryan!
Loved the footage from the ground! (and in the air too!)
I don't know what you did different but I could feel the magic of this place on this video.
must have been the kids
Good morning from Minnesota USA!!
Very much enjoyed this one. I like the occasional extra ground content.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wooww that is great video, aerial and little know about the village ... Thank you so much for this video and all of them,, I know is a lot of work to load it.. appreciated !!! All the best !!!
Really interesting video, esp. with the walk around the village and seeing the people of PNG, excellent work!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Another Nice nice video. Hugs from portugal
Those kids are wowed by what you do I am sure and want to fly due to seeing aircraft when they were young, just like I did when I was a child in Dayton, Ohio, near Wright-Patt AFB and seeing the B-52s doing touch-and-goes!!! Loud!
funny at 11:06 you're cooling a GoPro battery with blower :) Jungle video ops problems... great video as usual!
Always super interesting and entertaining. Beautiful drone shots.
Glad you like them!
Thanks!
thanks!
Ryan-Air.. some luvly shots in this vid, the drone shots were brilliant.. love the bits you did on the ground...
Awesome, thank you!
thanks for another great video
10/10 for drone footage ... again. :-)
Always love the sweet landings. Man, seeing their way of life making me miss the simple life in Asia.
Its definitely more simple in some ways, and way more complex in other areas
@@MissionaryBushPilot that’s true :)
PNG jello like Australian vegemite if your native you love it
Our organization in PNG, lost an aircraft in dense mountain jungle, marginal weather, and the pilot got the wrong valley that had no way out. I did the initial a/c recovery of flight controls, avionics, and engine. Subsequently, another trip in to remove the wings, which were brought out by 20 guys literally walking in the tops of the trees with the wing supported by the jungle canopy. It was a party atmosphere with guys falling out of the trees, laughing, and joking. Sadly no small phone video cameras at the time. The hollywood depiction of hacking your way through the jungle is a huge distortion of reality. Love your content.
I'm very thankful for all the G1000 aids these days to help prevent that happening to me.
Really enjoyed this one, low altitude scenery, ground footage etc.etc. Thanks much!🙏👍
Bonjour
With the limited french I know:
Hello
I like how the video shows the menu( ...procedure?) and manuevure of the pilot. When I don't understand english I look at the notions and aviation actions to understand the journey. Thank you for the videos and safe passage(?) ..Do you have the .... on .....
Yeah, did a fishing trip to the golf province. Can tell you that jungle is not easy.
Nice compilation of nice moments on air and on the ground. Thanks.
You 👀be landing in some crazy places you are a great pilot 😉bro. Bless 💪🙌🙏
Good job
Ryan, Thanks so much for these videos! Reminds me a lot of my childhood. My parents were missionaries in Suriname, S. America (SIL) and I got to take a lot of flights with MAF. My mom still goes out to PNG every few years and I would love to visit some day! Keep up the great videos!
nice video ryan intresting to see the ground work you do could not believe so many kids looks like they are happy with were they live
They really know no other, and kids are happy no matter what it seams
I love watching your normal footage but the extra footage on the ground and talking about what cargo you deliver is even better!
Goodmorning Goodnight.
Adoro a vossa coragem, como piloto aterrar em locais "PERIGOSOS" . Claro que leva uma boa máquina mas. . .
Os meus parabéns, lidei com essas máquinas durante 35 anos.
Continue . Boas descolagens, melhores aterragens.
Here’s hoping 🤞
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK FR JESUS
Never seen a PNG restaurant anywhere in the world, hihi. thanks for good video
1:30 I love the gathering of kids peering in. "What's going on in there? Who is he talking to?" =)
Excellent video, Russ! I appreciate your style of editing, a lot of brief cuts to different cameras keeps it visually interesting! Thank you for showing more of what you do when your on the ground. Amazing the battles they face every year with the flooding!
Really enjoyed this one. Tough life indeed, but you guys make it a little bit easier. Take Care.
If the local people are using water from the river to process the sago, that water must contain a lot of bacteria (assuming they don't sterilize it) and other organisms. Their immune systems must be pretty strong if they're eating this all the time.
Thanks for taking us on the walkaround. It's beautiful country.
Thanks for the bit about the crocs. I noticed the swimmers and was wondering how safe it was.
Thank god he came out of his plane to show PNG 😂
good video!
I love when you do these kind of videos, showing the everyday life for the people who live in PNG
“Smells like throw up!” 🤣 My thoughts exactly regarding durian. I tried durian once and it surprisingly did NOT taste like it smelled, rather, it tasted like I imagine gasoline might taste.
Thank you Ryan, great footage of the village, truly you have the best when it comes to flying and living in PNG......regards Roger
Good footage as always, but this time more information about the local people living in this habitat. Very informative!
Enjoyed ground footage and the flying. Keep it up and stay safe.
The clouds are high.
The grass is low.
Must be a good day to fly.
Great ground footage as well as the flight. Loved it. Thank you.
Like the music and drone shots and chance to see the people from the village
That was fun to be able to see a village and how they live. Thanks 👍😊
Sold!! I am going to Yembie Yembie to try the cuisine!!!

at first wondered why the buildings were on stilts, but you mentioned the river floods the airfield so they would be as well. Really like your walk arounds. cheers BC Canada
that was so cool Ryan, thanks for sharing

When you fly off a grass strip the mower becomes the most important piece of equipment

Hard work. Physically demanding in high heat. Few probably survive the schedule.
Great footage, thank you so much for what you do ....do you have any videos going over to Bimin tribe area ?
Never heard of that area
@@MissionaryBushPilot sorry for that, the name of the airport is wobagen and the tribe is Bimin
Couldn't find Yembi Yembi in MSFS 2020, but I'm going back in today to look around again. And thank you for posting the strip charts in patreon, I sure appreciate those! I'm already subbed to all the channels you listed in your description except Jonas, guess I better get over there and check him out. But your channel is the only one with bell notification.
On the airstrip charts I post on Patreon, it should have the lat/long on it to help you find it
Despite bad Google Maps resolution, -4.470180869301293, 143.14717478507632 seems to be the right place of Yembi Yambi.
Yembi Yembi is now available as an addon on Flightsim.to. It's based on some old footage so needs improving but the runway is accurate.

As much as I always enjoy your videos, it was a wonderful change to see the kids that benefit from a lot of the work you do. Being a veteran of the mission field, I know the huge amount of satisfaction from seeing small communities living and even thriving simply because our hearts see people with agape love. Watching children with the potential to be doctors, teachers, or anything, grow into the young people with the promise of going places, is the big deal for me. The southern island in the Philippines is where me heart was drawn to serve. Mindanau it's called, where I fell deeply in love with the people. Currently being battered bt a typhoon, and as usual, they're coming off 2nd best. Please lift them in prayer.
Bless you Ryan.
Great to finally see footage of the various destinations you land in, plus the stunning drone shots and the human interest angle. More of that please!
When I worked as a geologist in PNG in the 1970s and 80s, we usually used missionary aircraft to position our fuel supplies - I never envied you poor guys wrestling with these heavy drums.
It was important that we maintained the myth with the local villagers that this was “special” fuel for our helicopter - if the cat had got out of the bag that it was simply refined kerosene, our supplies would have vanished overnight!
👍! 🧙
Very gold rich area
More in the mountains
Yes very nice one !!!
The blur did not bother me.(Why was it ?)
Great vlog
Kids were not dressed and I didn't want CZcams to take the video down, so I blurred it all out.
Which country is this😍😍...the airstrips are so awesome..and the views as well👌
Papua New Guinea
Thank you for your videos, man! I fly a R44 around moscow. It's so much easier! :)
cool. I"ll be learning on the R66 next year
@@MissionaryBushPilot do they fly helicopters in PNG similar to your missions?
I love watching your flights in PNG. What is the stall speed of the Kodiak?
Which church sponsors your Missionaries?
Don
We don't have a specific church domination that sponsors us...we are sponsored by individuals all around the world who have a heart for missions and what we do.
Stall speed is 47, full flaps
Enjoyed the walk around. Brings back memories of places I’ve worked
Thanks again Ryan for this great video! Fantastic landscape seen from the plane and the drone, the winding river through the jungle valley. Also the kids magically attracted by NTZ and the lawnmower from even across the river! Awesome!
One of your best videos yet !!! Flying and also showing us all the village and way of life there. Very interesting.
Great video, thank you for showing us around.
A couple of easy-looking airstrips there, compared to some of the places you go.
Thanks again Ryan. Enjoyed the flying and the walk round / background.
Nice footage's. The format were really liking it. Just seeing how the live is really fascinating. Thanks for the cool shots.
Beautiful children!!❤️❤️
Was that guy sharpening the bottom of the lawn mower blade? If so, wrong side.
Yes
Another great vid Ryan. Thanks for sharing your world and work with us!

I love the diifferent accent when you're talking to the villagers at 1:54
Thanks for all the extra filming, Ryan. Always interesting.
The opening shot was quite something, with this enigmatic river crawling by. Love the versatility of the Kodiaks and their sheer power. Captain, the ground footage is wonderful. It completes the puzzle of what life is like in paradise. And being used to a bird's eye view, this is really an adventure. Yeah! It's tough but very rewarding work. Bravo to all brave bush pilots. They make commercial flying look like child's play.
👍always🇺🇸🇺🇸!!!
The ground video is really interesting. I worked in PNG, Indonesia, Mongolia and Africa as an aviation consultant and you guys do an amazing job for regional and local communities. Cap off to you Sir!
Learned so much Kodiak flying thanks to you brother !!!
Hi Ryan, thanks for the video. Really enjoyed the on ground footage that you included!
Thank you so much Ryan; for these wonderful videos . These videos have really changed my life; not fussing about things, that I don’t have. These residents seem very happy:🌹
