I have had a few people ask if the coin the buyer shipped back could be a different coin. Here is a link to the ANACS coin unboxing where I show the coin in the anacs holder. I believe the coin is the same but you guys can compare the 2 and see what you think. Thank you for all of the feedback!

Ebay should at least enforce a policy that once a coin is removed from its holder in the original sale (whether by the purchaser or by a grading service), it's considered sold and not returnable for any reason unless it's counterfeit.

@@swilliams937 I agree! Unfortunately, eBay has not really made any effort to regulate the buying and selling of coins on their site and have failed to take this into consideration when a return is initiated. Best thing to do with all listings is to include a 95% restocking fee with all descriptions on all listings. Happily take the item back, but as long as you have the restocking fee, you'll only lose 5%. It's unlikely scammers will ever buy from you if you have a restocking fee.

Your lucky….about 8 years ago Ebay changed the rules giving buyers all the rights and the sellers little if any. Why not resubmit to the ANCS with old label and hope for MS 64. I’m kinda new to coin collecting, but I have 3 comments: 1st Collecting bullion is not coin collecting per se…it’s metal collection; 2nd, the grading system is beyond absurd..purely absurd…these companies are making millions of dollars 3rd, grading coins that are are hundreds of years old is not like grading coins made on a machine and grading coins 2000 years old…crazy….

Thank you for the feedback. I might include the label when I resubmit the coin to Anacs. I haven’t decided yet. eBay has definitely gone to far in favor of the buyers. It makes it to easy for sellers to get scammed. That’s cool that you are getting into coin collecting. There is a lot to learn but it seems like you are learning quick. I like the grading companies but they do have probably to much say in the market. I like them because they make sure your coin is authentic and they usually grade the coin fairly accurately which helps put a value to it.

People collect what they want. PCGS does not put much on a coin label but ANACS does, maybe it's a different coin. I would never pay that kind of money for a Kennedy. CC Morgan would be better. I know people pay $2000 for a 2020 cent or such but it would have to be something really special that you can look and see easily. Just my opinion but if I sold on EBAY I would only sell simple graded coins like he sent back, but I agree this guy should send it back to ANACS and reholder it, EBAY has a lot of problems, that's why I would only sell straight coins, no struck though grease for $1000 extra, I don't know what makes the coin expensive, there are probably only a few people that would mean anything to. I mean no offense, just my opinion. Sorry.

@@americanfortruth all good! I agree! I would rather have a CC Morgan than this no fg Kennedy. I actually found the half dollar coin roll hunting so I had hardly anything into it. What makes it valuable is the no fg designation. It’s the rarest one in the Kennedy series. I’m not sure why it’s worth so much but that’s why I was selling it to begin with lol

I sold a PS3 on eBay many years ago and they claimed it was not as described gutted the whole thing took out the hard drive and put in a bad hard drive and then sent it back really really cheap and underhanded but that was when they had PayPal recently they poured melted plastic on a high-end coin I bought but it didn't affect the bidding at all I still got it for a good deal and I think they put a shield bitter in there and then I complained and then they took the ad down I didn't get ripped off but still it was extremely weird
