RECREATE // LYRICS
Here we all feel alive
Here we use our minds
Let us form together
Use our minds
Recreate, redesign
Here forever
With a new world in our hands
We will gain control
With a new world in our hands
We will gain control
Realize that you will never
Feel this way again
Everything you wanted
Was right in front of your eyes
This is the life
So take it in and embrace
No more waste in faith cause we are home
No more waste in faith cause we are home
Don't let it be easy
You need a sense of direction
To visualize perfection
We are home we are free
This is serenity
Stop holding on for nothing
I'm ready to face this world and gain control
With a new world in our hands
With a new world in our hands
With a new world in our hands
Gain control
No more waste in faith cause we are home
We are at ease in the way we've grown
In the moment when time the timings right
We can start to feel the stars align
Don't let it be easy
Visualize perfection
Stop holding on for nothing
Visualize perfection

Damn I remember freshman year, I used to blast this entire album on a daily basis through out school and walking home. I couldn't get enough of this, especially this song. I don't listen to Born of Osiris anymore, but this song still remains my favorite. This brings back so many memories, so many pothead and spiritual awakening memories.. lol
duuuuude same
If that isn't the most relatable post i've seen all week...
Michaelthe Cuntcrusher sounds familiar, haha
Michaelthe Cuntcrusher fucking same shit.
How do you not listen to BOO anymore?
This album will forever be in my top 3.
what are the other 2
i hope ASP - Price of existence is there
Top 10 metal album of all time. Idc what anyone says. This was a master piece from top to bottom.
@@rahbeat9785can't find it
11 years old and still sounds incredible - probably the last album I truly enjoyed by them
Angel or Alien was great
Same dude
Those high guitar notes with the effects are sick.
This version of BOO will forever remain my favorite. They along with Jason were at their all time freaking best of period.
❤️
That riff at 1:10 is what made me fall in love with this band
3:02 is pure beauty
That riff is why this is my favorite song on The Discovery
Ei voi muuta sanoo ku rahkaa nostaa

That rift hits me right in the feels.
We can tell just by looking at you're profile pic bro lmao😂what happened to you're face?
I actually had a feeling someone would comment something along those lines after I made my comment. ;)
Daniel what happened to ur face man?
Isai pulido geez dude, he's not that ugly
Josh Bruhh hahaha nah i was just asking cuz there blood on it lmao
How can one not love the lead guitar (solo?) going into the outro/breakdown? Easily one of my favorite parts in any song I've heard.
This album was prog metal gold.
spartan346 it was gay
SuperSalazar94 much like you
@@SuperSalazar94 just like you, gay
@@SuperSalazar94 fuck off, gay

Am I the only guy who appreciates syncronized headbanging in music videos?
Yes
Wonderful song and a great performance on all points of musical execution.
Perfect mix between shred and djent
+Ian Fullen shred and djent? what the hell
You don't know what djent and shred is?
lol
lol
These guys make headbanging look like an act of worship.
That guitar riff!!!= Eargasm!!!!!!!!
INTRO GETS ME SO HYPEEE
+Joshh Rowsell fuck the intro, the whole song gets me hype
One of the best songs of BOO
Man I love listening to songs like this, where I constantly feel like I'm learning each time I hear it.
Rarely do you see an album that goes so incredibly well with its cover art. But this... it's just fucking indescribably amazing. The guitar / synth parts in contrast with the low end heavy breakdowns go amazingly well with the whole albums idea of "there are greater beings." I don't know how else to describe it... it's just like... wow.
I remember seeing these guys in my hometown before they blew up. Got to talk to the singer. Cool dudes. Still pumping out good albums!
gave me shivers, love it!
The harmonics and effects in the beginning are amazing
Essa musica é perfeita! Não canso de ouvir
Love the guitar on this one
que nostalgia boa 😊
one of my favorite songs, from one of my favorite albums ever.
I am BLOWN AWAY at the amount of talent/skill/musical fine-tuned badassery that is displayed in this song. Their new album is great IMHO but, I do hope they make another album on this level
I agree this album is something else on a different level than anything I have heard.
for anyone who has not seen them live, you are missing out! they put on a great show!
No desire to see them since Jason is not in the band. Unfortunately he is in Chelsea Grin now and they just suck all together.
oh what a beautiful time sumerian, back in the day when jason still got his long hair
anyone still alive 2021?
I just recently listened to this album for the first time.
I can't really put into words how much I love this album.
“Stop holding on for nothing, visualize perfection” a lyric that 100% helped me succeed
THAT
FUCKING
INTRO.

Back when BOO still was legit.
+Christian Tjore Soul sphere is really damn good imo.
+Albert Suchan ya the new album is pretty good
They still sound the same
Oh you want to tell me, that you judge an album from one song? Yeah Throw me in the jungle is kinda shitty, but other than that, the album is lit. It's like saying Ride the lightning sucks, because escape was shitty lol.
The Discovery was the only good album.
Most relevant song ever right now
Saw them last night, bassist is a nutter on stage! Love you guys! Can't wait for more music!
There's crabs on the stage!
That riff at 1:11 is so tough
I LOVE Lee's solo on this one, I think that it's not only Jason's shredding that shines through BoO solos. love it!
2:00 onward is just.. Wow awesome feelings
0:26 pi pi pi piiiiii
To me, this is their version of prog.
That last two minutes of the song are so proggy, i love it. Kinda in Rush/mastodon/dream theater territory.
The first minute of brace legs is very mastodonic.
+John Webb Sorry man but you need to listen more Dream Theater if this sounds proggy to you.
+Alberto Razo
i said the end.
+John Webb Like every BOO song is in 4/4 so are you talking about the technicality?
I think Jason wrote the last part actually
One of the best bands out right now. hands down.
My fave off the album!! They killed this one live ♥
This has to be the sickest song in the whole world. I just love every second of it.
Gabriel A. Rip then, me personally dont find the mids that appeasing
It still holds up
@@jonathancruz915 hell yeah it does
This track is pure 9999damage and 0 HP
Everything about this song is amazing. Everything.
This song contains some of the most amazing guitar pieces ever written.
Petrucci surely knows how to ask for a signature guitar. Every damn metal band I saw, surely start somehow with his Musicman signature. Be it BOO or Periphery, or something else band.
Isn't Petrucci Jake Bowan (from Periphery)'s uncle? That might explain some of the connection.
Dude.... I miss this born of osiris... their new album is nothing compared to the discovery
I just came to write the same thing!
DTfede dude. The new album isn't supposed tie be the discover. That's why its another good album. Very talented very creative.
Brandon Wilson In my opinion it's overproduced and the songs sound almost the same, with blast beats in the middle. It's not bad, but it could have been better.
The Discovery had a bunch of awesome ideas forged into smoothly flowing songs, with tasteful chord progressions and melodies that kept things interesting when ideas would get old (Recreate and Singularity being prime examples of this). TWDA feels like (to me at least, I think it's dope that you like it :)) a bunch of quick, repetetive ideas thrown together in a big bowl of djent stew. There are awesome, thrilling ideas all throughout the album, but there's just too much of the same thing! Ideas don't flow well from one to the next (The outro to absolution comes out of fucking nowhere. If done much better, that could easily be their best song), and there's way too much mindless 000-0-0-000-00 riffing. Keep on doing you though, man! Like what you like, and don't let other's opinions change what you dig! :)
will sandvold hell ya bro! I just love the outro to absolution. Its actually top 3 best boo outros. Very unique. Name one thing to compare that outro to and you win lol jk
Muy tecnico, son buenisimos!
So excited to be seeing them live the 30th!
sumerian should sign ever forthright
* Starts petition to bring back Richardson *
I'm down...although he is still on shitty terms with them. BOO blocked Jason on Twitter recently for making a comment about how they still owe him a decade's worth of royalties for The Discovery. So sadly they will never reunite.
@@RemmyRiffs I feel like this was their best album ever and he had a lot to do with that, they matched really well musically.. a real shame!
Nah, people have always commented on Richardson being difficult to work with, why do you think he's never been able to hold down being in a band and has taken to being a solo artist? I think it's extremely ironic for JR to comment on anything to do with royalties whilst he openly committed plagarism on a song he ADMITTED openly on Twitter that Lee wrote.
I just don't think this album was the direction that BOO ultimately wanted to go and that's why they decided to boot him, and I don't think that's a problem at all - it's their band, I don't think they would have any issue writing another album in this vein either. While The Discovery was a great album... I view it less as Born of Osiris, and more as Born of Osiris feat. Jason Richardson. BOO nail the whole cinematic theatre progressive metal shtick like no other band does today.
Seriously though, its been 9 years and the whole bring back Richardson thing is kind of getting boring at this point, move on.
@@RemmyRiffs well, they paid him like 2 weeks ago so maybe there is a chance lol
Coming up on a decade next year. If this god damn pandemic ever ends maybe they’ll give him a call for a 10 year tour
the clean guitar cuts through the riffwalls fiercely
Couldn't have said it better myself. Chelsea Grin should feel extremely lucky to have Jason in their band. I can't wait to hear more of Jasons influence in their new songs!
This was my walkout song for my first fight. Best decision ever
This song reminds me of some of Northlane's work. Really good song
Best BOO lineup so far. Not saying Jason made the band what it was in any way, of course. As long as Lee and Cameron are in this band, they'll still be Born Of Osiris. This is just them at their peak, really hope they stick to this direction.
This is cool. Its strange most bands like this never use solo's but this band cant get enough of them!
Damn I remember tripping to BOO last year, had really intense hallucinations of wizards standing on top of decorated pillars doing a dance of knowledge.
Wow, his voice sounds at the beginning very much like the Voice of the singer of the band Gojira ^^
The solo in this song is just unreal
the lead guitar is awesome!!! soo melodic
this song kicks so much ass,
,
OMG!!!! 0:25
i used to get high and listen to this all the time... literally had an eargasm everytime
There are so many beautiful guitar parts in this song!:)
I want Lee's Periphery shirt.
go to the merch store then
Bunters196 IKR!!!!!!
THIS IS SOME GOOD METAL MUSIC OR HARDCORE MUSIC
It's called deathcore (death metal + hardcore/metalcore), but it is good.
They're also progressive metal.
ok
alexandre0695 Actually it's called djent :)
galisoart I am sorry, but Born of Osiris are not djent. This is a common misconception.
alexandre0695
Progressive deathcore, iirc.
I'd say this song, dissimulation, regenerate, and two worlds of design are my favs for this album.
Genius!!!! Extrem and Perfect Musician
One more fucking week until I can finally possibly retire The Discovery. Jason's album is gonna be The Discovery on steroids.
boo sacked Jason because he didn't do drugs with them basically is my view of it. check out their cribs video. it's practically video evidence
Jason is about to have his revenge. they barely show him in this video
What happened if i may ask? >.>
They love drugs, and Jason don't..
Александър Коларов exactly right
drugs are cool
Александър Коларов yeah but Jason had no right to throw them under a bus. I’m not saying that what they partook in was ok, but that was part of their private life and Jason brought it out into the public.
This song is practically a guitar master class. Damn it's good.
wow the lead work in this song is amazing
Is the drummer playing with socks on ?xD
It's even more common to see shoeless. get in the way.
I do the same
I do as well. I couldn't imagine the stamina it takes to do an hour set list with shoe's on.
no i need my shoes
I couldnt not play with socks my feet would be slipping off the pedals
My mom wants her skinny jeans back. >=(
This song and period was legendary
cant even compare. these guys are cool off stage even
Jason was the best thing that happened to this band :(
completely agree. he elevated them to another level.
Totally Jason was sooooooo the only thing behind this. But if you watch the video or any live videos lee is the one playing something other than the 0
Ryan Pappas The only problem is that Lee can´t play any of Jason´s solos live and definitely he does not have the creativity Jason had with BoO :(
Dude I just saw Osiris live on the 3rd and Lee killed every solo perfectly even the follow the signs one which is probably their worst solo ever. He also killed bow down abstract art open arms exhilarate machine divergency and illusionist. So go see them live now and faith in him will truly be restored. FYI he wrote recreate
Ryan Pappas I would actually love to go to one of their concerts but I am from Lima Peru and this kind of bands usually don´t come down here :(.
palm mutex34958034
this band
who cares, since it sounds great?
Nicolas Kienberg
although i dont mind this band, it does get pretty fucken repetetive
JacksonKdrums
u do mind, obviously, what makes ur comment a bit senseless in my eyes^^
Nicolas Kienberg
I meant the open chugs mate
JacksonKdrums Repetitive? Are you kidding haha, the new album is boring as fuck, but this album is seriously one of the best releases in the last 5 years for this genre anyway
Pure perfection!
Que buen tema
Why do they poop while they play binary?
They should have just retired after this album.
Aaron Barrett nah, they're great still.
One of my favorite albums by far!
my first time listening to them OMG AWESOMENESS!!!!!
Good power sound and explode in my head very good song lml.
Seen Them Like Half A year Ago . They Are amazing
Ahh once again that breakdown !!
Would love to see these guys live
This song sounds awesome live :))
Can we talk about how funny the solo guitar starting at 0:26 sounds when listening to it for the first time but gets more awesome everytime you hear it ?
cant wait to see them live!!
Just saw/heard them live last night, perfect song to lose yourself to
Been listenin to these guys a lot since I seen them live.
Oh my god finally someone who knows. Thanks so much!
I need the instrumental of this fucking album
1:59 through 2:44... Just pure bliss
