The SNL bumpers are from Season 5, Episode 17 with host Strother Martin, originally aired 4/19/1980. The show had been on a forced hiatus thanks to the 1981 WGA strike that killed the rest of the show’s infamous sixth season. Two weeks earlier SNL had returned with new producer Dick Ebersol who was cleaning up after Jean Doumanian’s disastrous season.

Spring forward in late April? No way! Daylight Savings used to begin the 1st Sunday in April. Now it's the 2nd Sunday in March.
For some reason Easter was on the 19th of April that year, I don't know if that affected it, I was 19 at the time, remember alot of details because of alot of stress at the time unfortunately...
