My husband sang this song to me just before we were engaged many years ago. He gave me a wilted flower, a box of candy with a small bite out of each piece, a lighter and a beautiful emerald ring. When their father passed each one of them spoke with me about our marriage and how as each one grew they realized that was what they wanted to. I lived a useful life, a good life, but the best of my life was when we were together. From the first day we met, ( we shared the last hotdog at a race car meet, we both loved the same condiments, lol.) He said that was when he knew I was his future wife. I knew he was mine three weeks later when he saved a kittens life by scraping the side of his brand new John Deere to dig around the pipe where George was stuck and he kept him. I love and miss him every single day, but I know he wants me to be here for our children and grandchildren. I am a very lucky woman, and I wouldn't change a moment I had with him.
