The MSCube MS3L, or the "missile" as we like to call it in the office, is an interesting 3x3 that features a unique positioning system. The enhanced version also has a fascinating corner-edge magnet design. In the $20-24 price range, how does this cube stack up?

Just as my MS3-L arrived at the door, you release this video. I’m so excited 😆
Is it good?
Honestly? It feels lighter than it is… and super loose. Even with the tightest settings. I had in my mind a heavier feeling puzzle, but it feels hollow, and it’s super fast. Which to me, mixed with light unadjustable magnets means it almost feels non-magnetic and floppy.
I’m gonna spend some time trying to slow it down with some heavy lubes like Weight-5 and see if that changes my opinion. As it stands right now, I’ll be gifting it to someone else… someone who doesn’t know what a good cube feels like 😆

I’ve set it up with some weight 5 on the tracks, and it definitely helped with slowing it down and a little bit of stability. Still way too loose… but I have a plan. I’m gonna get an extra magnet kit to upgrade it, adding some more weight and stronger magnets should hopefully add the stability it needs to be a good cube for me.

In my opinion this cube is completely underrated. I haven't switched my main for several years although I have bought many flagship cubes in the last 2 years but after I got this cube, I declared it to my main instantly.
Thanks to the extra magnets I almost never misallign a layer. Maybe the magnets in the pieces are weak, but you can still feel them. I also main this cube for OH because the extra magnets help this cube to be staple and it is also relatively fast. (still controllable)
I don't know if it is just me, but my MS3L's corner cutting is phenomenal. It can corner cut over 45° easily and it can also reverse corner cut more than line-to-line.
To be fair. The tensioning system is really annyoing but the cube is still worth it. It's just $23.99, give it a chance ^^
its not even close to being as good as the gan12 pro, it doesnt even touch the WR M lmao i dont know what flagship cubes ur getting

The fact that you're underrating it proves his point.
I've seen sub-10 cubers who prefer the MS3-L despite having the other flagships.
@@Pumpkin36408 differnt people have differnt opnions. I like it more than gan 11 and wrm because it is very flexible and reminds me of gts2m which is my old main. It might not be for you but that doesn't mean it is bad.

The translucent plastic worries me, translucent plastic is usually more brittle and here is used in high stress areas
I can tell you for sure that the translucent plastic is weaker. Never in my cubing life have I broken a cube until this translucent-interior cube. One of the edge’s fin broke and had to replace it, other than that, weird but good-feeling cube.
and my friend got his ms3l broken by a random person at school today so this is true

The tensioning is easy enough. It's removing the parts that needs effort to understand.

the concepts are really good, but it doesn't look like functional for now. in the future, other brands will also probably use these concepts.

ITS ALMOST THE EXACT SAME TENSTIONING SYSTEM, ITS EASY GET OVER IT, yall seriously just have to git gud
