Good review. This is the first time I've seen the smaller one. Because I need a smaller footprint on my deck, I like the small one. Do you think you could do a brisket, ribs, whole chicken, and corn on the cob in small one?
Nice rig! Seems like a weird place to stick the power button would be my only criticism. Seems like it is very hassle free and designed to make it super easy to keep clean.
I admit the power button is hard to see but not really needed. Its mean to stay on....you don't use this button to shut down the grill when finished. This is basically the power switch similar to what came on the back of the older models.
It would be cooler if they made it with 4 actual rubber tires because not everyone has a paved driveway or a deck ... some of us live in the bush and those little caster wheels just get stuck everywhere in the spring time, all in all awesome grill
Higher the temp the less smoke. 165 to 225 is your smoke range. Turn up the unit to grill. Pellets also make a huge difference in the flavor of the meat so choose correctly.
@@tinmaninc2023 oh thank you soo much! I thought I wasted $2500 on a grill. Will try the higher temp suggestion next time. Charcoal flavored pellets work too?
@@ababoy4228 not sure on those yet. I haven't tried them myself. I tend to stick to the same manufacturer as they design their pellets around their grills.
Would you recommend this grill over the Ironwood 650? I can’t tell if its work the extra 500 dollars to upgrade to the newer version.
Curious to see how well the drip tray holds up to cleaning, not being stainless. Kind of disappointing that SS was not used on a $2000 grill.
The stainless comes on the nearly $4000 Timberline. We have a comparison video coming out shortly.

Yes I think it should have no problem doing that. Its roughly the same size as the old ironwoods 650
So can you buy the stainless grates from the timberline and they would fit in the Ironwood?
That's what I'm trying to find out

Yes, we felt foolish once we found it. I may have been nice for them to say bend down to find it.
We just got this and are smoking some ribs right now
Does it have a ceramic igniter?

Is that level?
Nice grill, with a shocking price tag.
the timberlines are like 5 grand lol
Does it need to be seasoned?
Yes the grill takes you through a whole onboarding process that includes the burnoff for the first 45min to an hour.
Nice
Thanks
How can I get my food from tasting like smoked meat!?
