We've gotten cave updates, it's just the major ones happened a really long time ago, and the more recent additions are fairly minor.

I would really like to see Insects like Butterflies, Reptiles like Snakes and Crocodiles as well as Savanna Animals like Lions, Giraffes or Elephants in Minecraft. And, although Mojang said they dont want to add them, I think Sharks should also be added to the game. I mean, there is no way that a six year old Minecraft player would attack a Shark in real life only because he did it in the game. And Birds, mainly Songbirds, Owls or Penguins, would of course also make Minecraft a lot better. Because i am a Fan of Animals, i really want to see some new Mobs in the Game.

7:53 I miss this type of landscape. Its so beatiful, it is so beatiful that they should put this back into the game, as a new biome. The lime green grass/leaves should have the same color as it had years ago. They should put this back into the game as a biome, and maybe be named : The Forest of Heaven of something like that. Like If u agree!
Even like just making all grass more vibrant. My base is in extreme hills which I think is a beautiful biome. But the only thing is the grass is pretty much grey like it's so ugly

I want a whole furniture update. I’m talking proper blinds/curtains that can be opened and closed. Mailboxes. Stuff that’ll make your home actually feel like a home.
I want to see backpacks ( a SMALL extra storage in your inventory and a new thing by the armor things in your inventory to make you wear the backpack and there would be some items you can't put in the backpack like another backpack ) I would like to see battleaxes ( as strong as sword but slower reload but more durability ) hammers ( breaks blocks very fast but you don't get the block and deals a lot of damage ) they should had a rare golden dead bush ( does 50 damage (I'm jk no )) they should add corn, and a lot of new foods ( A FOOD UPDATE! ) and yes i really want chairs, spears ( like Trident, throwable, does more damage when thrown ) they should add atlantis ( very rare to find, one per world, there will be a posiden statue and under that is a cave and under the cave is kraken, after kill kraken go more down and theres posidens trident, it does 20 damage, makes you breath underwater, makes you swim a lot faster, comes back to you without enchantment, and more ) should add dragon ( tamable, can be found in big caves up in mountains, very rare, and you can fly with it if you tame it, it can shoot fire ) they should increase the hight limit and redo the entire minecraft world to make it look much better, they should add new ores ( copper, bronze, saffire, ruby, etc ) they should add a cool new dimension with a new boss and rare stuff to find, daggers ( little damage but reload is fast, new enchantment for shovel and pickaxe ( mines a 3x3 hole ) a bigger crafting table like 5x5 or something with a lot of new items to craft ( katana, ship, cannon, etc I cant think right now ) and a lot more good stuff

I think pixelated paintings you can create is a great idea. It gives more chances for a use of dye instead of wool, collars, or decorations.
I guess they should introduce a story mode, where you have to solve puzzles, do quests and follow a storyline, of course the already existing buildings can be used, and it opens up opportunity's for more to come

I'll let others deal with suggestions, the only thing I most agree with Minecraft updates is the vast and vibrant colors that was once in the game of Minecraft. It made everything beautiful, as said in the video, and it would be absolutely lovely to have it back.

like, you can rotate while you are flying, you can perform certain actions like you can in fortnite ( you can dance in fortnite if you didnt know)
for example, *press Q while being flying with elytra in sky*, and it will perform a *cool animation* or it will *do a loop*.... the posibilities are endless!

An update on villagers would be nice. The ability to delegate tasks for them and develop their village into a small town or eventually kingdom is really all I ask

A weird, and kind of minor suggestion for something I’d like: charcoal blocks. It just makes sense honestly. It would make charcoal a more useful resource too.
Ok, so this idea might be too , well not really simple, but I would love to see more bosses in the game. Yes we do have the elder dragon, wither and elder guardian, but wouldn’t it be cool to have a underground boss when mining? So say you went into this giant cave and soon you began to see special marking of a boss. You go in find the correct ingredients to spawn this boss, defeat it (hopefully) and therefore get cool items. Or maybe there’s some flying beast in the over-world spawned it by crafting a special egg (perhaps?) Or maybe there’s just some cool powerful items maybe even more powerful than diamonds. Overall I just think that we gamers need more bosses, because, what if, your really good at Minecraft and you’ve already defeated the three bosses. What then? Do it again, over and over? Although, yes I love taking down those bosses, but eventually there comes a point where it might seem a little...boring. I would just like more challenging bosses in vanilla Minecraft. Yes there are mods, but like you said it’s not as professional and developers abandon their projects. That’s just my opinion, what’s yours?

Change we can make our own paintings, including frame color, we can make a brush and canvas as well...
Add birds, I know we have parrots, but they can only be found in jungles.
Add chairs and tables too.
Add a way we can have a head lanterns.
Signs should be updated with size, color, etc.
Make us able to add double, or triple on armor! Make double wielding for us and armor stands so we don't have to armor stand armor stand taking up space everywhere.
Make us able to create roles like discord so we can control staff easily.

Since we have mass amounts of flowers in Minecraft. I would really wanna see Mojang add bees! And bee hives! And if you right-click a bee hive with like a bottle then it'll give you honey! But this might be a little difficult but, it'll be worth it in the end.

The armor stand thing is in Minecraft Pocket Edition. I loved all of your ideas espacially the dynamic light and birds and biome. I loved this video
You can already add different colours to signs easily.
For samsung: hold s and go to §.
For _some_ other devices: go to symbols, find the weird P symbol, and hold it to get to §. Then, put a number after the §.
Slanted: §o
Bold: §l
Take away colours, slants and bolds: §r
Some letters get different colours, too. I'm pretty sure §b is a light blue, §d is a bright pink (I always mix them up), §a is a bright green, §e is yellow, and §c is this weird red-pink-orange colour. Also, §k is just random changing letters and numbers.
The painting idea would be great when your bored in your Minecraft house! Edit: Ok now that I have seen the full video then I LOVE ALL OF THEM!!! I would like colored redstone lamps in Minecraft!
