@@yanniegrannie My mom taught me to be compassionate even to the worst of people. She reminded me that even the worst of people were not born to this world that way. I have had to work hard to feel compassion for Lori. That she sacrificed her children to have a life with a man that chose instead of her children is awful. But she will be judged for that so I pity her soul. That's the best I can do for her.

That Chad tried to debunk & distract from his limb burning & diurnal racoon shooting to the loving wife he'd soon kill as well and profit off of is beyond evil & was all so selfish, cowardly, unjustifiable, & unnecessary. All the victims & their loved ones deserved so much more & better than this. If either Chad or Lori had any microscopic remnant of love, conscience, morality, heart, shame, or remorse, they would admit everything, make full detailed confessions of everything, & beg everyone's forgiveness, not put all the grieving loved ones and others through more.
Instead, they've just put more people through this, all the jurors & alternates & court personnel, the community, law enforcement & investigators, lawyers, journalists, family members, friends, people who helped search and who cared for the victims; there's just no end to the selfishness of Lori and Chad; no bottom to them.

I wonder if JJ or Tylee even knew their Mom was happily heading off to Hawaii and leaving them behind after helping to set them up for and hand them off to be slaughtered.

I was so happy to hear him reply to Lori's attorney the way he did! This doctor knows his job and was not going to take a comment like Lori's attorney had.
He has nothing to defend his client with. At least, this way, Lori can't sulk about not being represented properly and appeal for a mistrial. In a way, this guy is making sure the court only goes through this "song and dance" once. Chad's lawyer is watching this closely, and no doubt advising his client to plead guilty to avoid the death penalty. If Chad fights this, he is a dead man.... probably end up a dead man in jail too. Oh well, no loss there.

I agree. Having children with disabilities I couldn’t imagine the thoughts that went through his little mind. I keep thinking the reason Tylee was dismembered other than the rituals but because she was heavier and couldn’t be lifted or placed in a bag. 😭😭😭😭🤬

I can't imagine seeing things like this every day in their job performance and going home to sleep at night. It takes such a strong person to do this job. I'd have to be in some serious therapy to do that job.

I feel even worse for Kay & Larry Woodcock who allowed Lori & Charles to adopt JJ. They believed they were giving him a home where he would have a full time stay at home Mom & excellent schools & resources for his special needs. They couldn't possibly have foreseen what would happen, but I'm sure they feel regret & anguish everyday over giving JJ up to them. This will go on until the day they die.
I am also grateful that the autopsy photos were not released to the public. That is a good thing. Those are private and although I know the the jurors have to see them but not the general public.
They are juveniles, so there is more protection by the court to keep them sealed
Chad and Lori Daybell are absolutely heartless monsters. I keep remembering seeing them in Hawaii on tv when everyone was looking for these precious children. It’s hard to imagine how they just went on with their lives after murdering 4 people?

I checked on my kids before i watched this 17,15,13, and 8 after hearing this I had to go back and kiss their foreheads as they sleep. Im sure in the morning my teens will be like mom what the heck why did you come in kissing on me last night. A mom is supposed to love and protect her kids and lori did not. How she let anyone harm her babies I will never understand!

I think she took part in it. A psychic who predicted how these kids died exactly down to a white bag on JJ’s head and black bag on his body and duct tape and described Tylee’s dismemberment in January (months before they were found) said Lori took part in putting the bag over JJ and she beat Tylee repeatedly in the head while Alex or Chad strangled her and beat her way beyond necessary to kill the poor girl. I’m inclined to believe it although I’ve always been told to stay away from this kind of thing. I was shocked to find out this psychic was correct! She said they dismembered Tylee in Chad’s workshop on his property. So sad!
Was thankful my grandkids came to visit so I could do the same with them! ❤ Lori is no Mom in my opinion! Being able to give birth doesn't make a Mom to me, just as depositing seeds doesn't make Dad! My teens never mentioned the midnight Mom prayer watches! Lol

Chad had to have been the one who killed JJ. Remembering Mel’s account of the night Chad took JJ to “bed” and then came out with scratches on his neck. JJ was not seen after that.
Chad is facing murder charges for asphyxiating Tammy. JJ was asphyxiated to death. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if JJ died directly at his hands, rather than his uncle's, Alex Cox. Either way, the three monsters are demons. Horrible beings.
I think Alex could easily have new. Framed by taking his phone to the burial site etc.

@Mia Jackson all of this is vial. These people are demon filled. So difficult for any of us to truly figure out who did what. But they all had a role. Even Melanie Gibbs. How in the world do you not realize something wrong and sick was going on when you see those scratches on Chad. And them talking about JJ climbing the fridge. They had to add that JJ knocked the picture of Christ. That had to be put in.....

I can't quite believe he would push that so hard. JJ didn't put that bag over his own head and bury himself 6 feet under. Well the defense attorney has to try something…-anything or else the guilty can claim ineffective counsel later. Don’t blame the attorney for doing their job even in a hopeless case where the guilt is so clear.
Dr. Garth Warren is highly qualified and educated. Has done numerous homicide autopsies. The defense attorney's questions were ludicrous!! He grilled him why he didn't check sinuses or throat for evidence of plastics. Doc said that's never done. And then the defense attorney stated "he was going off of movies he saw." Dr. Warren: "That's scary." Priceless!
Tylee and JJ died horrific, traumatizing deaths. JJ had evidence of a struggle so he was fighting for his life. We don't know what Tylee went through but I am sure it was just as bad. All at the hands of their Mother and new step dad, Chad. We do not know for sure if Alex was involved in its entirety. I say this due to Alex's last words stating Lori and Chad were going to make him the fall guy. Chad could have set Alex up by calling him over to his house/yard knowing his cell phone would locate him there. There's too many unanswered questions.
JJ was bound. That goes along with Chad and Lori's religious beliefs. Bound the evil spirit.
Tylee was burned. Same applies with religious beliefs: Burn evil spirits by fire. Which btw, Melanie Gibb had full knowledge of burning by fire. Just sayin'.
I hope both Chad and Lori receive "prison justice." What they did to these precious children is beyond any human comprehension. My heart goes out to the Woodstocks and all family and loved ones. This is heart wrenching!!

As a mom of a sweet little boy with Autism… I cannot imagine! This breaks my heart so much. He was already in a world that was so much harder for him to navigate and the people who are supposed to love and protect him didn’t! He was loved and WANTED by his grandparents! I truly believe she murdered him for the SS money and in retaliation for Kay getting the life insurance money. Sweet JJ RIP 😭

I'm still listening, almost done. Tylee was burned in the fire pit. I am baffled how none of the neighbors smelled burning flesh, bones and organs?! This has a distinct, putrid, awful smell. J.D. Salinger, who helped liberate concentration camps in World War II, told his daughter, “You never really get the smell of burning flesh out of your nose entirely. No matter how long you live.”

He just described the manner/cause of death of my daughter with a gun shot wound to her head. It looked as though either of them could have shot her. It was undetermined.
It was like he was describing her. God help everyone trying to cope with and understand the loss of these 2 precious children. 😢 I've lost two and I just cannot imagine living with it being at my own hands. I just can't understand. 😢😢😢

The Loser's attorney doesn't want those autopsy photos to be shown to ANYONE! What is he so afraid of? The disgusting truth of what really happened to those two children? Why in the hell does he think they are in court? He has annoyed me throughout this trial. Both of them.
I agree. I know it's their job to give her a vigorous defense, but they don't have to be dicks while doing it. Not only that but how redundant some of their questions are, it's like the prosecutor already asked that, ask something different! Like when the prosecutor asked the forensic pathologist about his education and then the defense attorney turns around and asks the exact same questions. If I was on the jury I would be annoyed with that. And just their tone of voice sometimes, they can ask questions without being so condescending. It's no wonder they lost.
Anybody want to put a plastic bag over the defense attorney's head, to demonstrate to him how you die from asphysiation......?????

I think it will be interesting to see if Chad tries to negotiate the DP off the table in exchange for the truth of what really happened?..Since Lori's defense is it was the men, I would like to see how Chad plays his hand moving forward.
It wouldn't make a bit of difference in Lori's trial unless he does this before closing arguments.
Very true. I feel like his lawyers were there to see how her trial is going to feel it out since we should be getting a date hopefully by next week. I feel like that would be his only option. It may be hard to "prove" Lori's involvement (conspiracy), but you cannot deny Chad's and Alex's. Now unless he and Lori believe he will be a martyr and this is the plan is another story.

The definition an attended death is also laughable. Doctors are really near a person when the die in a hospital unless they have coded out and a team has tried to recover them. Most in hospital deaths are either alone, with a friend or family member or at times a nurse of some sort including aides.
It’s not just that. My mother died of ALS. She was under the care of her primary care Dr as well as a palliative care team at home. They provided documentation so that when she passed away, at home, we wouldn’t have to endure police/autopsy etc. stating that her death was expected...
