It's the roof of a historic, fallen barn. Barns, sheds and old structures are common choices by fox to raise their kits. I just photograph them in their chosen environment.

@@kexcz8276 Given a choice I would of course chosen a beautiful, natural setting, but you'll hear no complaints from me. I've spent hundreds of hours, watching, learning and capturing the intimate behavior of fox families in and around that old barn. I'm very grateful for those experiences and all that I've witnessed, learned and photographed.

Fox: Quiet, probably sleepy, and pretty chill.
It's a very lovely sound a Vixen makes when calling her kits. I have a video myself of a Vixen making the same noise 😊.

@@sashyjolly9801 I do not think so, I feel it is her basically saying, “feeding time children.” Usually that call is associated with feeding kits.
