1) could you please show the difference in floor load between typical and roof? In this example, the finish load for both typical and roof is 2 kn/m2, self weight of slab is 4 kn/m2. However for typical floor load you gave 7 kn/m2. is the additional 1 kn/m2 for wall loads ??
2) As I used plates in the model, I did not include the self weight of slab in the calculation of floor load. correct me if I am wrong please?
3) why unfactored load used for footing size? any more clarification.

If I have given the loads at the time of analysis in staad pro software, then why it is again asking for the imposed load and live load to be provided in Staad Rcdc while designing slab?

I didn't find yet. You have to edit it in Autocad from the exported drawing format.
I want ask global axis of stadd pro and global axis of RCDC is same. Like X axis in stadd pro will be X axis in RCDC . Or I can put it like this seismic load in z axis according to stadd pro will be seismic load in z axis in RCDC or it will be different .

Hi.. while installing staadpro connect edition rcdc software is not installing it gives an error.
clsRCDCInfo:CreateRCDCDatabase - Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Check the tutorial carefully. And ensure that you are using RCDC v6. V8 is having such issues.

RCDC 8 is making problem. For ETABS use RCDC v6

No direct option for that, you can try using ifc files.

WS. Check the tutorial for importing dxf file properly. If you followed same way & still the problem exists then re-install staad & check.
