Best CHICKEN SANDWICH Recipe I ever made!

- These Chicken Sandwiches are crispy on the outside with a juicy and tender chicken breast center. We're sharing all of our best tips for making fried chicken breast in a perfectly seasoned thick and shaggy crust that crunches when you bite into it.

CHICKEN SANDWICH MARINADE:
►3 medium chicken breasts (boneless, skinless), halved into 6 cutlets
►1 1/2 cups low-fat buttermilk
►1 Tbsp hot sauce (we use Frank’s Red Hot)
►1 tsp salt
►1 tsp black pepper
►1 tsp onion powder
►1 tsp garlic powder
CLASSIC BREADING FOR FRIED CHICKEN:
►1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
►2 tsp salt
►1 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
►1 tsp baking powder
►1 tsp paprika
►1 tsp onion powder
►1 tsp garlic powder

Soo delicious that my super picky 16yr old son looooved them and gave me “Compliments to the chef!!” I’ve been married 34 yrs but I learned a lot doing this recipe. Marinating in buttermilk, the second coating of flour before frying, setting chicken on wire racks before and after frying… you’re my go to cook that I follow. Every recipe of yours I’ve tried has been a huge hit. I am my own worst critic and even I love them. Last night I made your crispy chicken sandwich and my husband loved it and said we are making these all the time. It’s just the 2 of us so since my friend wasn’t able to make it for dinner I left 2 of the chicken pieces in the buttermilk and the remaining flour mixture in the fridge overnight and made chicken fried chicken with white gravy tonight. My husband who doesn’t usually like breaded stuff because it doesn’t have much flavor and there’s usually too much crust, raved about it saying the crust was so flavorful, he will definitely eat it again. Next time I will use the remainder of the flour mixture to use when making the gravy. Thank you for being a joy to watch and providing us with delicious recipes. I am going to subscribe to your emails which I rarely do so I can always count on something good to make. I’m already subscribed to CZcams CZcams channel.

I just did this recipe for 7 including myself. Not one complaint from anyone, nothing but compliments. My wife said it was the best chicken that I have done so far. The only thing I did different was to fry on my 22" Blackstone Griddle (idea from Griddle Guys) instead of frying in pot. Will be doing this recipe again, tender and juicy. Tried this today. Probably the best chicken recipe I personally cooked in my life. The buttermilk marination softened the chicken so beautifully, I enjoyed every bite of it. Too bad I had no lattuce at home to put in the sandwich 🤦♂️

@@Natashaskitchen I try but there where not crispy and I put them in a rack to cool but they were really soft and the breading was not sticking to the chicken, maybe I did something wrong? I followed the recipe step by step
Natasha... We can’t tell you just how much we Love your crispy chicken sandwich recipe! Everyone that I’ve made them for is so impressed with them:). (We love garlic- so I increased it by 1/2 tea in both the marinade and the flour mixture:). My daughter thinks I should have a food cart:) And it makes such great chicken strips! Hubby and I love these so much that we’ve been having these for dinner too often;). Between these and your fabulous pizza dough- my grown kids keep coming over... which we Love! Love this recipe. Had to run to the store and buy all the necessary ingredience to made this. Used brioche slider rolls to make twelve small sandwiches, and buttered and toasted them, and you're right; it DOES make all the difference. YUM. Made a sauce of mayo, honey, mustard and bbq sauce (feux chik-fil-a) and OMG, Addictive sumptuous!

We tried a modified version for dairy and soy free due to allergy. Swapped the buttermilk for oat milk the hot sauce (we didn't have hot sauce) for sweet chilli sauce. They were super delicious very impressed thank you for posting the video.
