In DELIVER US FROM EVIL, New York police officer Ralph Sarchie (Eric Bana), struggling with his own personal issues, begins investigating a series of disturbing and inexplicable crimes. This is actually based on a true book that was written by the NYPD sergeant. These things happened to him as an officer. You should look up the book, it's interesting and pretty chilling for real life accounts.

It would have been a really good movie if they had stuck to the Books. The movie was so wrapped up about Ed and Lorraine that is took away from the what the movie was about.

It had a good vibe, but then the music box started playing, the door slammed shut and the owl started rolling. That's not scary :/ I love horror and love being scared, but I was more scared by the fact that nothing happened underneath the bed. That we've actually moved past that point of bad horror movie making D: That was scary!

Sinister wasn't scary
Im Actually excited for this movie I love how everything wasnt spilled in the trailer so Im curious as to what will happen with the movie. But it looks pretty interesting and creepy. Plus I respect Scott Derrickson as a director, Sinister was so scary and creepy.
I remember seeing this advertised on tv as a kid and the owl scared the shit outta me.

For a die hard horror fan these movies can be very irritating because they sort of keep you watching in hope and right to the very end when you know your hope is wasted you find yourself still watching it in desperate bitter hope. The Trailers are what's the best thing about these movies and when they are like this Trailer then you realise a nother waste of time film. Especially if that's the best Trailer they can offer. These movies really deliver nothing other than crap. Longing to see a really good horror movie these days. The Walking Dead tops these movies and it's a series about zombies!

This kind of Horror movie is the scary one.. Not zombie, vampire , dracula, alien, monster...They are just "mutant". But this, The Conjuring, and things that really connected to Paranormal activity are so damn scary

When critics say it sucks you know the movie did what it was supposed to do. And that is, it kept you on your toes and scared shit some of the time. When you can jump from your couch, and the hair on your arms are raised, you know if scary was what you want you got it 100%. Hey critics you are a bunch of fools.
I love scary/horror movies. Since the director of this movie were the same director of The Exorcism of Emily Rose & Sinister, so I expect this movie more scarier but i was wrong. Not scary at all.

I don't know yet if I'm wild about this one! I feel like due to the large success of 'The Conjuring' Golden Gems & its affiliates are trying to milk the possession angle for the millionth time! I suppose if the story and character development is there, it could be a good film, I'm just not sure how many of these films must be made before a worldwide audience starts to say, "What else is playing?"

The priest tells that there are two types of evil. Ralph tells that he saw weird things and nothing can't be explained by humans. There is a scene at Ralph's daughter at her bed, she hears scratching and she goes down and finds a plush monkey under the bed. She picks it up gets back the bad. Then plush owl falls down, doors close and the owl rolls to her bad and starts making noises. She just says "Mommy". Then there is a scene where Ralph comes home (probably) and his wife tells him, that she heard scratching noises in her daughter's room. Ralph goes to her bedroom, tries some things, kneels to see what is under the bed. then he is on his knees and hands, he looks at his daughter and smiles, gets up, looks in the mirror and there is guy on his daughter. Then he just looks at her, scared and the trailer ends.
I must say I'm impressed :) It is from the same guy that directed Sinister and I loved Sinister so I can't wait to see this movie.
