This car suprised me a bit
this 4 door coupe is a big and heavy car that it's weight is 1920KG ready. but will get from 0-100 klm in 4.7 sec with only rear wheel drive
i did a acceleration test on a dry road with good tyres and had traction problems up to 70klm/h then i got full grip
it is just so full of luxury and is nice and quiet.
so you will not expect a beast underneat
when you put the suspension in sport mode and the gearbox in S or manual in transforms in a sport saloon with very good performance and very good handling in the corners.
this CLS is a very good car if a E class is not nice enough and a s-class to not your thing.
i like a S-class but the CLS is perfect. very good styling. good size interieur also for the passengers, big bagage compartment.
Just take it !!

I just bought one in Australia. its beautiful... i like how fast it is... what did he say.. "its fucking hell fast".. thats just what ive been looking for. Ive loved these since they came out... now 14 years later I can afford one. They were $250,000 aud which in 2006 was insanely expensive. Now here you can have one for $30k... 476hp(close to 500hp) 500foot pounds ... soooo much car... soooo little money. even parked in my driveway it looks fast. Thankyou Mercedes for making my favourite mercedes ever...see you in 4.7s :P

I like them both very much . To different engine characters. I have also done a review on a c63 p30 package have look in the playlist . I think a c63 is more a hotrod racer And a cls55 a fast design cruiser

great video dude :D I am thinking about to buy one for myself, what is the fuel consumption on this car ? and would you recommend it as a daily driver? are there any issues with the W219 ?
+Gabriell Pali the are pretty reliable but don't skip a maintenance Job like oil change And that sort of things. But the fuel consumption is there. It is a 1900kg car with a big engine. So it is using fuel. I think it depends on the way you drive it. But it is stays a very fast factory permormance car And it will use more fuel then normall model. With this car the focus is on. Performance And not fuel economy.

I still cannot make up my mind, cls55, e55, or sl55.... I've had several w211 e320cdi and I do like the e class, the w219 is pretty though and the sl55 would be awesome on a sunny day with the top down 🤔

I got one too,and you are right,this car is a beast,what I love about German cars is you can drag this car all day long ,and after that still putt putt to the grocery store ....I keep it german.

My dream car... In white... I wouldn't complain with a 63 - it's faster - but it does not have a supercharger.
63 is not faster . When the 63 had some mileage on IT the loose power when the have over 100k on the clock most have a big torque loose on the dyno much more Then a 55 AMG

Yes i some ways that is true.
But a m156 63 engine is a high rev. Motorsport engine. The Just wear out faster and need more maintenance. A m113 is a low rpm of engine and power delivery is low rpm . I would always prefer a m113 over a m156. But i also think IT is a very cool engine the m156

Which is the better daily driver CLS55 amg or E55 amg?
That depends on what your looking for i did not drive the e55 kompressor model. But looking to the exterieur And Interior i would go for a cls55. Because my personal opinion is it is Just better looking. Performance would about the same. I'm Just a fan of the cls55 AMG. But i think a e55 AMG is a little smaller car so it could handle a little better but if your not going to race it on the track or something i would not matter. And the cls is a luxury 4 seater And a e55 is a 5 seater. Maybe that can be a point . If you like the channel don't forget to subscribe

Your wrong it is build from 2004 - 2006 after this the cls63 came in the w219 model
Maybe 2006 was in te USA but here in europe 2004 - 2006
