“Who’s going to save our Church? It’s not our bishops, it’s not our priests and it is not the religious. It is up to you, the people. You have the minds, the eyes and the ears to save the Church. Your mission is to see that the priests act like priests, your bishops act like bishops, and the religious act like religious.”
    Archbishop Fulton Sheen

Had the privilege of spending a night of prayer and adoration with this good priest and a small group of people on top of Croagh Patrick a few years ago, what an inspiration he is.

Lucky. I would never dream of this. People don't know how much we catholics suffer for the true faith. No Latin masses at all around me. It's really a long long sad and very sad story. To say the whole truth, catholics are not catholics anymore. I lived as catholic, but never was catholic. Believe me, this is true, one of the saints said that catholics sleep in their iniquities.

Some religious priests do stand up for the one true faith and educate us in this (though they are hated), perhaps because they have a father in their superior....

Fr. James, I don’t know if you will see this message. My name is Sabrina. We worked together on Popetown many years ago! My journey since has been a huge battle, but I praise God for it! We are in a time of having to discern even the smallest act. I would love to get in touch with you again as we have another battle ahead. I’m sure if you read this and God allows it, you will find a way to get in touch. The new Kingdom is on it’s way. He just needs His remnant who ‘see’ the truth to help Him bring it forth.

He has his own youtube channel and he does reply to people. I imagine he can only do that when he has the time because while he has a youtube channel the channel doesn't have him. I think his channel is something like "Faith and Tradition Fr JM".
Also though, it's great to see a Catholic singer-songwriter. As a guitarist who only came back to the church a little more than a year ago, it's good to see others balancing their talents with our faith.

@@loulasher thank you so much! The music has unfortunately become stagnant. Way too many costs involved in production. I shall see where God leads me next. Welcome back to the faith 😃

    • @loulasher

      @@sabrinamariamusic thanks!
Production costs are an obstacle. I got into music when the idea of self producing, engineering, mastering, promotion was taking over. It was a complicated maze to navigate. I didn't. I focused on performing and just recording demos to get gigs. It didn't go so well. I switched comedy. Now though I've been praying to use my penchant for performing in ways that are of use to Our Lord. There are projects that need voice actors. There are bands using all sorts of musical genres while spreading the gospel and in spreading devotion to Our Lord.
Sometimes "what is next" are things that add to our ability to create art. So, enjoy the journey and give it all up to Our Lord, as I'm sure you know better than I.
Today the most important things you need from a production or engineeeing perspective is a good mic (Beyer M-88 is my goto mic. A good dynamic can do a lot and has lower self noise than condensors.) and a decent interface and a low budget computer. Both Audacity and Waveform Traction are free DAW programs that work fine.
I'm sure when you are drawn back to music, you will be able to find people local to you to move forward in it. Like everything, it's a marathon not a sprint. The shortcuts lead to trouble (especially in the arts).

I’ve never seen him with a beard elsewhere - probably grew it out after leaving/being dismissed from the FSSP. All the priests I’ve encountered via sspx in my area (plus a rogue diocesan priest, who is even more radical, God bless the man) have always been uniformly clean shaven. Likely more akin to the good old “finally off active duty” phenomenon than a reflection of religiosity here lol.

    • @Sense2024

      Why do you hate masculinity?
