Bad Co. has a lot of great songs. “Can’t Get Enough Of Your Love” is a good one, “Shooting Star” , “Rock & Roll Fantasy”, and “Bad Company” are all worth a listen!!
One of my very first albums! Love it!
Shooting Star has always been a personal fave!!
Yes please. React to all of these. You won’t be disappointed.
Shooting Star! Yes!
And Amber will love "Silver Blue And Gold." "Burning Sky" is a jam, and I think they both would like The Firm, with Paul Rodgers and Jimmy Page on "Radioactive" and "Satisfaction Guaranteed."
Not to mention Paul with Free on "Alright Now."
I don’t know but I think Ambers mom should make a guest appearance at least once, because she seems to have great taste in music. “Bad Company” next please.
I second that.
Yaaaaas
Yes please introduce your mama to us Amber. We'd love to meet her!
Agreed!
Was just thinking the same thing.
This song is SO underrated. Bad Co. never seem to get their due.
This band deserves to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame but keeps getting overlooked. Silver Blue and Gold, Burning Sky and Gone Gone Gone are also great songs.
All three 👍
Coach Rojas, Yes! They should have been in the Rock&Roll Hall Of Fame a long time ago. 😡😔
The R & R H of H is a joke... So many BS bands don’t belong there and bands like ‘Bad Company’ get left out 🤨
They should of been in there yesterday!
Thats a popularity contest.chicago. only got in a few years ago. Ronnie vanzant of skynyrd's favorite singer was steve Rodgers.
I’m a child of the 70s and this brings back soooo many memories. They were one of my favorite bands!
Paul effing Rogers! Every day is still the 70s to me and a little 60s too! He really didn't have to exert himself on this one.
This and UFO
I was a teen then, grew up with this. I always thought they were American lol
I recall this was considered a very "dirty" song here in NC and banned from some STATIONS. My dad hated it cause I was in Jr. High.
our fav class-cutting album freshman year hs
Try the song Bad Company next.
Lead singer is Paul Rodgers
And he can still belt it to this day! At least he could a couple years ago when I saw them.
He was one of the best looking singers ever in addition to a fantastic voice!
What I love about this song is that it's nearly impossible NOT to pound out the guitar riff on your air guitar.
Paul Rogers, the greatest rock vocalist of all time, doing this for 6 decades and still going strong today!
One of the best voices! Another great one is “ready for love”.
YES!!!!
Oh yeah, Amber will dig that beautiful song!
Paul Rodgers--one of the great voices of rock...PERIOD!!
Great suggestion!
Yeah….and Rock Steady🤙🏼
“Can’t Get Enough Of Your Love” is a good one, “Shooting Star” , “Rock & Roll Fantasy”, and “Bad Company” are just a few of their great songs.
10 from 6 is one of my favs
Seagull
Paul Rodgers is one the best rock vocalists of all time. Why are they not in the Hall of Fame is beyond me 😡 I got to see them live on their reunion tour in 1990. They were incredible.
Paul Rodgers is one of the BEST performers and has one of the BEST voices I didn’t realize this until I saw him in concert on the 40th year anniversary 🥰🥰
"Awww, super sweet."
Amber not letting on that a monster riff is right around the corner- priceless.
I caught that too!🤣🤣
Bad Company was one of the best 70s rock bands. Their songs rocked yet they also had great hooks and appealed to a wide audience, not just hard rock fans. Part of their magic was their lead singer Paul Rodgers has such a great voice.
Two songs I recommend from their last big album are "Rock N Roll Fantasy" and "Gone Gone Gone" both are incredible.
Love Y’all!
Thank You so much for your reactions to my music from the 80’s!
Back when everything made sense!
Paul Rodgers - other singers call him "The Voice". Just a phenomenal singer. How is Bad Company not in the R&R HOF? Crazy. A bunch of GREAT songs.
I am so stoked that you guys liked this.
This is one of my all time favorite Bands
AMBER YOU HAVE A COOL MOM, SHE'S ROCKIN TO BAD COMPANY YASSSSS.
Paul "the voice" Rogers. He still sounds as good today at 71.
Wonderfull Rock love song..all time...Bad Co...Rock on forever
In a word, this song is about PASSION! I feel for you young folks whom didn't get to hear the best music ever recorded while it was still on the cutting edge during the late 70s and the 80s. Rock and roll will never die!
Paul Rodgers was the singer in Free ,King Crimson, and the bands came together and formed Bad Company ...his voice is the voice of rock n roll did they ever get into the rock n roll hall of shame for how they shun great artists, grand funk railroad hadn't gotten in????
💯💯💯
Paul Rogers is one of the best lead singers in rock,he toured with Queen. This band has an outstanding back library of tunes, Can't get enough of your Love??.
…and before Bad Company, he was the voice of Free, best known for “All Right Now”.
And after that, in The Firm with Jimmy Page (Led Zepplin), Tony Franklin, and Chris Slade (Uriah Heep, Manfred Mann's Earth Band)
J head bobbing while Amber’s swaying….That’s Rob Squad in a nutshell!!
Amber's mom raised her right on some amazing music!
Bad Company was probably the first ‘ super group’ they were fantastic and Paul Rogers has such an incredible voice
Paul Rodgers is one of the best rock singers of all time. Still today, he sounds fantastic!
And that’s really something because a lot of singers lose their voices by the time they reach his age.
Absolutely saw them a few years back with Joe Walsh what a show
Did you hear him when he sang for Queen after Freddie died?
@@Almcingrid3663 Yes, I did. He did a good job, but I think Adam Lambert is a better fit for Queen.
@@conniedean1977 absolutely!
Paul Rogers has a great voice and still sings great today. There’s a lot more Bad Co. to try, but also Free-“All Right Now “ and The Firm-“Radioactive”
...which also feature Paul Roger's doing lead vocals.
Great suggestions!
If you're gonna do The Firm, ya gotta do the song "Satisfaction Guaranteed".
Praying that baby Luka will arrive soon and give yall relief. I suspect it's Luka and not Luca.
Every track on the Bad Company album 'Straight Shooter' which this classic rock song came from, is worth a listen & a reaction. They were a 'supergroup' literally.
I was born in 1960 and have been subjected to so many genre of music over the years I have to admit Bad Company is anawesome group. They just played great music and such a vast amount of different music. Great reaction to an awesome group.
every song on that album is worth a listen . . . enjoy!
Exactly. One of those rare albums that every song is great!!! One after another. Play Side 1 flip it over play the other side and repeat....
yup, its always in my vehicle, the cd that is
Old school music is the best love you guys
The brilliance of this song is they start acoustic, punch it dirty and the solo is a clean riff!
Only Bad Company could pull that off!
One of their 5 greatest songs and one of the 50 greatest Rock & Roll songs of all-time.
Another vote for “Bad Company”. Also a few mentions for Nazareth please start with “Hair of the dog”
Love me some Nazareth , also another good band is Triumph,
Hell don't forget kansas dust in the wind
Now Nazareth, theres a band and song that needs more mention . Nice choice !
Great suggestions !!
LOVE HURTS!!!
Bad Company song by …..Bad Company is a self named song by them from the album of the same name. Another banger with soul and more than a touch of blues
In fact listen to the whole album entitled Bad Company as every song is a great song
I just said the same thing. Incredible album.
This is still one of my favorite albums ever. It’s amazing…
Paul Rodgers voice is amazing. The way it fits for both the hard and the soft parts. Wild fire Woman is another great song.
The best voice in rock. Him and Glenn Hughes can still just belt them out like they are in there 20’s. Truly amazing.
Love Bad Co. That whole album is excellent and Paul Rogers is definitely another iconic voice!!
Bad Company is just too damn good. Deep rabbit hole to jump into. So MANY great songs!!
One of the greatest singers in rock, Phil Rodgers (the Voice). One of my favorite bands back in the 70's. Phil's voice is still today, just a strong as in the past.
The 70s Rocked ,,The 80s CAN KISS MY DONKEY LOL
Paul Rogers, great English singer. Check out his previous band ‘Free’. Their most well known song is probably ‘Alright Now’, but my favourite is ‘My Brother Jake’. You are now, officially, my favourite reaction channel, keep ‘em coming!
Paul is The King of Blues Rock vocals, and all the other vocalists say so!
I used to play "My Brother Jake" for my oldest son, after his little brother Jake was born. Sweet memory.
Definitely! I would like to see them react to Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin’😊
wasn't Free that band whose guitar player leaned his back over the guitar amplifier while playing? hell yeah \m/ \m/
Paul Roger's voice...one of the best in Rock...
"Shooting Star" by Bad Company is a song that other reaction channels do. It's a great story and a banger! You'll love it!
Yep, 'Can't Get Enough' and 'Shooting Star' too!
Btw, guitarist Mick Ralphs was originally with Mott the Hoople, whose 'All the Young Dudes', written by David Bowie, you MUST hear. Anthemic, and an important cultural touchstone/nexus in early LGBT awareness, imo.
The lead singer, Paul Rodgers, is an amazing talent. Check out his other bands: Free doing "All Right Now" (and there are live videos of this tune out there); others have told you the other Bad Company songs; and The Firm doing "Satisfaction Guaranteed" with Jimmy Page (Led Zep fame). Great reaction. Amber knew what was coming, lol!
Great call out on The Firm. I always liked Radioactive.
@@stevesmart170 me too! Just that the "Satisfaction Guaranteed" is such a great video!
Bachman Turner Overdrive - Takin’ Care Of Business or Let It Ride
I second this!
Love watching the two of you react to music I’ve loved for years!
Such a joy to see and hear. Keep it up J and A and the little one! ♥️♥️
One of the first bands signed to Led Zeppelin’s label. It was the lead singer from Free, Paul Rodgers, and the leadguitar player from MottThe Hoople, Mick Ralph’s. Both bands worth finding and reacting to
I would love to hear you dive into Journey. Steve Perry has a one of a kind voice that will blow you away. When you Love a Woman is to die for. Piano, orchestra, guitar solo and The Voice of Steve Perry. Amazing.
Yes!!
No!!!!
Agreed, but I hope they dont accidentally play Journey from the past few years! People say that new singer sounds the same as Steve Perry but they've lost it! I can tell the difference every time.
Absolutely!!! 👍
He was the the singer in Free. Check out “Alright Now”. Great song. Paul Kossof was an amazing player who died too young.
Bad Co "Shooting Star" was about Paul Kossof.
Koss was a bloody genius!!
Another great song from the 7ds
I forgot just how excellent the background vocals are on this. The layering is very creative. Terrific harmony hooks everywhere. If you are interested in greatest hits collections theirs, titled 10 from 6, is a monster. It is a must own.
They were the first band signed to Led Zep's label, Swan Song. The whole album is excellent. Played it before going out on dates in the mid 70's.
Always loved these guys. Who knew an English band could sound so Southern Rock. Go with the song "Bad Company"
YESSS! This entire album is great! Takes me back to my high school days every time I hear it.
Same!
This such a great old tune from a band that has so many great songs
Still blown away that they haven’t reacted to Bad Company, one of their biggest songs out there.
Finally some Bad Company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love your reactions! Bad Company is such a classic top tier rock band. I'd be shocked if Amber hasn't heard at least one or two other songs of theirs...Shooting Star, Moving On,, Burning Sky, Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Rock and Roll Fantasy, Bad Company, Ready For Love... they have a lot to choose from. Another great video guys!
"Burning Sky" such a great song.
Paul Rogers never gets enough credit for his incredible vocals. He did a project with Jimmy Page (Led Zep) called the Firm. Check that out!!
As a millennial I must share that I think the 70s had the best music!! This song is a great example of that. I love that you get the disco and "hippie" sounds of the late 60s early 70s and a bit of rock and roll towards the end. So many incredible artists came out of this time period!!
@mystique Harrison- Inexpressible just how awesome it was to be a California teenager in the mid to late 70s. Sorry you missed it!
As someone born in the middle of a whole different century, I wholeheartedly agree!
Remember, this incredible singer, was the first touring replacement for Freddie Mercury. I saw Paul Rogers when he was with The Firm .
One of the best bass notes ever recorded in this song
Bad Co put out a greatest hits album called Ten From Six. Just pick one.
So love The Firm's "Radioactive" - still on my old i-pod!
Vicki Roman I thought the concert was incredible. Chris Slade the drummer went on with AC/DC. The bass player Tony Franklin is a beast, approachable on social media. Oh and Jimmy Page.
@@garysteinert8040 I'm jealous! I fell in love with Chris Slade on AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" video - he was a beast! So much talent in The Firm.
Jay your reaction truly says it all.
Love you both rocking out to this epic tune. Paul Rodgers the GOAT British vocalist.
Preferred him better when his voice was still raw in Free.
Bad company was my favorite band while I was in High School, I wore out my 8-Track of Straight shooter and had to buy another one. There are so many outstanding Bad Company Songs, "Shooting Star", "Bad Company", "Ready for Love", "Good Lovin Gone Bad", "Rock Steady", "Run with the Pack" and "Can't Get Enough"......
such a good band, Paul Rodgers has one of the best voices in rock n roll...check out their back catalogues, song such as "Silver, Blue and Gold", Can't Get Enough Of Your Love" and Rock Steady...so good...keep the tunes flowing,,,peace....
Bad Company is an underrated band for sure! So many great songs, not many have heard of them! "Shooting Star" "Bad Company" "Ready for Love" to name a few
We all could see how much you both loved this one!
I am proud of your growth Jordan you were all analytical before but now you are going more to Amber's way of feeling the music as well
Love y'all from Mississippi
I live in MS too. Where you at in the mighty Missasip?
@@anthonyunderwood2068 pontotoc
@@craiggallagher9110 I'm in Mendenhall
@@anthonyunderwood2068 a few hour drive
@@craiggallagher9110 I see. I've been to Tupelo home of the King and of course Oxford to watch Bama and Ol Miss play.
Paul Rodgers has been said to be the best rock vocalist of all time. He is brilliant! Rock & Roll Fantasy must be on the list. Can't Get Enough of Your Love. Hell ... ANY Bad Company song is amazing. Glad you loved it J.
Well, he's very good...but c'mon get real.
@@grobin3745 - It's been said. I never claimed it. I do put him at the top of MY list, however.
How gratifying that a new generation is so excited by this music! I certainly didn't feel that way about my parents music!
All of their tunes start mellow in one place, & build to a rocking finale. Bad Company is pure, no BS rock.
One of the cleanest voices in Rock and Roll 🎸 history ever. The man can simply bring it.
Paul Rogers has an amazing distinctive voice. He also sang with The Firm with Jimmy Page. Awesome music.
Believe he was also singer for Free.
@@lakerman1422 Paul Rodgers was with Free and Simon Kirke on drums was also. Boz Burrell from King Crimson joined the band on bass guitar.
Don't forget 'The Law' Paul Rogers solo album and his 'Muddy Waters Tribute' awesome voice!
@@ArtistryMusication I’ll definitely have to check that one out.
I saw them in concert, absolute perfection!!! LOUD AS HELL!!!!!
Bad ComDanny is a DEEP rabbit hole! I listened to them every day for 6th and 7th grade 1976 and 77.Paul Rodgers voice is wonderful! So many hits!🎛🎸🎹🥁🎶🤘👊
Bad Company needs to be in the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. Such a great band with one of the best RnR singers ever.
“ Shooting Star” great song, great lyrics, has a story…you will love it.
This is a life long favorite of mine!!!! Yessss!! I was so hype to get to hear y’all react to this!!! So glad you like it!!
Another two suggestions:
The group Bread. Maybe the song ‘Baby, Ima want you’ 🥰😍🥰😍
And Bad Company singing ‘Bad Company’!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Lot of great Bread songs, Bread is definitely an Amber thing If, Diary, Make it with you, It Don't matter to me, Everything I own..., although they might enjoy the rockier side as well, like "Mother Freedom" or "Truckin"
I recommend "Bad Company" from 1974 and "Holy Water" from 1990 both by Bad Company. Growing up in the 70's this was one of my favorite groups. I played the 8 tracks until the tape wore out and then bought new ones and cassettes when I changed over.
I LOVE Bad Company!!! Next songs you should react to are Run With the Pack, Wild Fire Woman, Silver Blue and Gold, Burnin' Sky and Ready For Love. Astounding songs!!!
They don’t make songs like this anymore; as always you both gave such a great reaction!!❤️ “Shooting Star” by then is also fire 😊
Wow, haven't heard this song in sooo long, but I certainly remember how much I love it...thanks for the memory.
BAD CO is one of the reasons I learned to appreciate Rock and music in general. Tons of fantastic songs. The band started out as "FREE" and had the infamous hits "Alright Now" and "Fire and Water".
Free was another band Rodgers played in BEFORE Bad Company. Free did not morph into BC.
@@davidhohn9106 In hearing Paul Rogers say it himself, BAD CO was formed by him and the former drummer of FREE with sound engineers and the Island Records staff in-tow. On the first BAD CO album, they had several songs Paul had written for FREE but the band had passed on. As Paul Rogers said, FREE "morphed" into BAD COMPANY. They continued with FREE as the primary project as long as they could until even the road crews jumped ship from FREE to BAD CO.
Bad Company are a great band, but Free with Paul Kossoff were just that little bit extra special
@@kentishmale1969 And not forgetting And Fraser
really wish yall could have heard this live. as good as it is on the album it was brutal live. you didn't just hear that drop you felt it.
Another great song. Just laughing watching Tom Jones dancing too, 😂😂 along with Ambers belly!
Oh...lol! I didn't notice until I read you comment. Priceless!
Y’all this brings back memories from my teen years. Love Paul Rodgers and Bad Company to this day 🥰
Amber, your mother has great taste! Definitely one of my favorite Bad Company songs! Some other good ones are, Mary don't you weep no more, Can't get enough of your love, Shooting Star, Seagull, Rock n Roll Fantasy.
They are so bad asss. They don't call them Bad Company for nothing. Paul freakin' Rogers, like none other!!!!
Bad Company was one of the hardest rocking bands of the 70s and 80s. Pure power, starting with the vocal EXPLOSION that is Paul Rodgers...😉😋
The song "Bad Company" by this band is a REAL banger. You'll love it, J!
My eighty-year-old neighbor couple blast this groove on the reg.
Bless their hearts
Bad Company: Rock and Roll Fantasy
,Bad Company, Silver blue and gold
This brings back memories of smoking doobies in jean jackets around Camaros and Novas. When Aquanet hairspray was eating a hole in the ozone layer. When girls dressed up for school like they were going to a concert. When cracks and loopholes still existed. When the last place on Earth you'd be caught dead at was at home. When you'd drive down a street, and have to wait for the kids to move their sports equipment off the road so a driver could pass by.When people got their driver's license before they were 30.When football and boxing were still sports, and not sports related entertainment. When all the great bands were all out at the same time, doing their best work. Before hashtags, cancel culture, and Karens had a platform to reach into your home and annoy other people's husbands because theirs won't deal with them anymore. When everyone at least tried acid, and saw the world in a more enlightened way. This wasn't 200 years ago,so not being that far removed... getting back to some of the good things is attainable.People just have to find the will inside themselves to get out of the 30 year rut Kurt Cobain put the world in.Why do people love to mire in the muck that they're in so much? Our generation did make changes too.We just did it with a sense of optimism that's missing today
Every song on that album just as good as the next! The eara of no fillers to just add a track. ❣
Melissa etheridge, Melissa etheridge, Melissa etheridge I'm the only one! You all will love her! A woman who can rock with the best of them
You'll love Melissa's "I'm The Only One", "Come To My Window", "Bring Me Some Water" and many more!
Yes!! I'm The Only One is a favorite of mine!!
Yes this is a must for female friday. I'm the only one.
I've heard her song. Its pretty good.
Melissa has been through so much in her life and all her songs are great and tells a story Breakdown and the song she wrote Scarecrow about Matthew Shepard are both great songs
Love more Bad Company .... "Simple Man", "Rock & Roll Fantasy", "Bad Company", "Seagull", "Rock Steady" and so many more. Great Band.
Seagul is another beautiful song from this great band...a must hear...cheers ❤️ your show
This makes me feel like I'm driving through the Desert in the early 70s in a jeep and uncertain about where I'm going just hoping for better.
That guitar coming in at the end… goosebumps.
Jay, gotta do “Rock Steady!”Right in your wheel house
Jay, I love your genuine head-banging reactions! And Amber, I love how you always “get” the music. I enjoy your profound insight. I just love watching reaction videos of young people such as yourselves discovering the beauty of the music I grew up on, but you guys outshine everyone else. And if you’re looking for another feel like making love song, try Jefferson Starship’s Miracles, 1975.
Oh yes Miracles is an incredible song! Such a 70s iconic song!
Nothing is better than rolling the windows down and jammin to Bad Company... singing your ass off !!! I grew up on ALL this great rock. Love seeing y'all enjoy it, too !!!
This is still a badass song. Damn, good memories. I ❤️U Mom & Dad. Wow!!
Love this song! Perfect song for... Their song Shooting Star is awesome too!
