my oh my! I first heard this song on radio when I travelled to kenya and immediately fell in love with it, I asked my friend who sang the song but I quite did not understand his reply or he just didn't know. I would learn of Niniola a year later from her song Maradona which was popping in kenya and have since loved her songs and her vocal style, akara oyibo have been playing in my mind and I have always wanted to hear it again but I wasn't sure it was akara oyibo the singer was saying but today I decided to search akara oyibo anyway and I was shocked the moment I saw that Niniola is the artist that sang it. This song will forever be a fav of mine, gives me a Nostalgic feeling.

she's a Nigerian! wow awesomely great singer :) I listened to some Nigerian music that are extremely bad auto-tuned vocals sound productions. auto-tune vocal enhancements started in the U.S. pretty much use less of it in hip hop and some EDM. but Nigerian producers totally abuse auto-tuned.
