It’s unfortunate that it lined up that way. When we add our player shoutouts we try to add them to holes 3,6,12,15. If you watch our previous coverage, we start with the person who tees off first on hole 3. That just happened to be Emerson this round. We work quickly to get the coverage out as fast as possible so things like this can sometimes be missed.
Why throw Lonestar? Yes indeed, WHY WOULD ANYONE after that :D

I don't understand the problem It's live scoring It's actually the right way It's the exact way all of the players in the field know where they stand when they are playing
@@chrisbondi5887 Just because live scoring is how the players experience it, it doesn’t become more entertaining, at least not for me. In post production you have the opportunity of simulating a “mass start”, which I find to be superior. I mean, isn’t that how most sports are done when it’s practical and feasible?

@@chrisbondi5887 it ruins it when you are trying to watch other post produced. If I wanted live scoring I’d watch it live.
I live in East NC so thankfully I don't have to play in wind much but I practiced in wind yesterday and learned why pros like disc that don't change angles in the air. I like to back hand on spike hyzer angle (understable disc) every shot or flat/Annie 4hand(stable discs). Wind kept slamming my backhands

I was wondering why Korn's song, A.D.I.D.A.S became an earworm of mine. Lo and behold, the hole description music is an almost note for note rendition of the chorus.

Several of these baskets seem to be slightly off level or wobbly which makes a big difference in their catching ability- especially in the wind. I feel like that shouldn't happen on a pro tour

Is it just me or does hammes putt form look just like mcbeths now. Ravens step putt has to be top ten in the world. It looks so clean. Only player I seen draining 50 footers in that wind

Interesting that Newsom doesn't bag a Hex here. Maybe his Reactor is just beat in enough that it flys like how a hex would. I do like my reactor but I bag a hex too. Maybe it was too windy here too.
You know why? Its because the hex sucks. it doesnt have the stable finish to be consistent. Its a great straight flyer but hit a few trees with it and it will just finish more straight at full power. he is 100% using a beat up reactor instead of a hex because bagging a hex would be a waste of time. Gotta replace them like two weeks because they just dont fly the same after hitting a few trees. If you throw far the hex not for you. if you throw super soft and not hard yea the hex is prolly for you. YEAHHH WE KNOW SIMON LOVES HEX. Hes gonna make signature discs soon. hes trying to get some popular to decide what ones he wants.

@@cricketfilms1879 Lot of elite pros bag Mako3 or MD1 and those have less fade than Hex. It is a personal preference. Every pro has discs in their bags that are not thrown at full power. I would not be surprised if Raven bags a Hex on a wooded course. Getting slight flip up with less power and more accuracy. I am sure you disagree and in your opinion Hex doesn't work controlled turnovers in the woods, because it simply sucks. Most pros have that kind of discs especially in the woods. I guess you throw overstable flex shots in the woods.
@@cricketfilms1879 Do you know the #s on a hex? Do you know what happens to a disc after it is beat in? lol Like, just take its speed. Five speed. If you throw it harder then it will be more understable and have less finish. It doesn't suck. It is doing exactly what it is meant to do. You must have some weird expectations of how discs fly.
I think hole 3 is better suited for amateurs. They use faster over stable discs for short distances like that. I think pros just aren’t used to it.

I wish these Disc Golf Channels would acknowledge the Three children and three adults killed in a Mass Shooting in the same City as this Tournament less than two weeks prior to this event. Its tragic and a fixable problem, but we need to bring attention to it otherwise more children will die. Great opportunity for positive change missed here.

Paul talked about it on Smash Boxx. Since they are temporary baskets and not level, they tend to spit out a lot of putts.
The Lone Star ads... hmmm I wonder who they're targeting when they repeat over and over the "consistency" of the discs ...Prodigy (cough). I think they're trying to sweep up the rats that are leaving that sinking ship. The Gannon Burr debacle is a terrible look for Prodigy. I know you can say there's bitchiness on both sides but it was badly handled by the side that should be the most professional about it. I honestly can't see any new disc golfers signing to them given after that.
p.s. I've noticed that Latitude has some horrendous flashing issues lately too. I've never been a Latitude guy myself but when I feel the rims and they're like knives I'm glad I don't use them

this course looks evil and impossible to play well. Classic overdone overly difficult temp course.
Mpo is so boring...Just throw over top of everything..🙄 I wanna see these guys play this courses as designed..FPO is much more entertaining and watchable

Its bad for the players, bad for the fans, and bad for the sport when a single tree kick can ruin a player's entire tournament. Disc golf needs to take a lesson from ball golf and reduce the number of obstacles on professional courses to the point where it's the player's play, not the luck of hitting or not hitting obstacles that is determining outcomes.

It's not that bad of a hole lol. It played 3.4 average that day, with 35% getting bogey or worse. By ball golf standards, that's a pretty easy hole.
