- The time has come for my Antarctica photography expedition! This is video 1 from my trip with Polar Latitudes to Antarctica.

Antarctica is special, and there's no need to even mention that. It's just one of the most impressive, remote, and unbelievable places on earth. For a photographer, it's paradise. And I think most think that photography in Antarctica is mostly about penguins. Sure, there are lots of penguins to photograph in Antarctica. But the peninsula is about so much more than that when it comes to photography and experience. The landscapes are just unreal.
This first episode from the series documents my journey to Antarctica with Polar Latitudes.

I'm thinking of you and your co-travellers "bubbling" in Buenos Aires, and I think of the Antarctica workshop recently led by Adam Gibbs, Nigel Danson, and Alyn Wallace. Mads Peter Iverson was set to co-lead also, but he tested positive in Punta Arenas and had to stay behind. What a bummer! Thankfully, no such drama for your group. I hope this madness slowly gets more under control. I'm not sure it will ever go away, but maybe we'll come to live with it like the flu. Love the story-telling!

I was starting to wonder if there was an Antarctica sale on or something, just saw Nigel Danson and Adam Gibbs down there too. But it's probably just because trips were put off due to covid until now.
I just checked the prices... $8000 from Argentina was the cheapest I saw. $28000 from New Zealand (my preference). Ouch!

Brendan, a boat can go onto a ship, so you are on a ship not a boat. While you are walking down the corridors, do not put your hands on the wall but use the hand rails. Think about the crew can clean up the handrails much better then wiping down all the walls, it’s about safety & health.
The sense of getting water from a non stable establishment is what makes shower

They lost my bag 2 days before we sailed out. Hoping it would get to me before, it never did. So I had to spend 1200$ to buy all new gear in Ushuaia hours before we sailed out.
