Thx alot for d great idea! Did it for my galaxy tab for my car & it's amazing! Very sturdy while drvg & doesn't mess up my dashboard. I din want to hv my dashboard hacked up & this idea saves tons of money. Kudos!!!
I like this! At first I thought 'oh heres another velco install' But when you mention about just rolling up the velcro, so it doesn't look like crap. That clicked with me! Doesn't even necessarily have to be on a vent. Just anywhere you can stick velcro on the dash, roll it up. Its when the tablet isn't in the car, how it looks. Thats important to me, and this solution makes so much sense. Its little DIY solutions like this I enjoy. 100$+ mounts, for a device you might have spend 2-300$ on, just isn't logical to me.
I've watched 100 videos (well, at least it seems that way) searching for a simple, clean, inexpensive means of mounting a tablet in my beloved Boss 302. Your video may be older than my car but it is the best solution I have found. Thanks!
THANKS!!! Dude I have been all over the internet trying to find a mount that will handle my 10' tablet. I've wasted hours at stores and online. Velcro is there anything it cant do ? :) Genius idea!
@texas50 I appreciate it...I need to make another one that's edited down a lot more. But after seeing a bunch of crappy ones I had to make one myself...LOL
It's called "cheap"...what's high class? A permanent mount that looks ridiculous when your iPad isn't in there. Which lets people know there may be an iPad in the car. Roll up the straps and very unassuming...but yes...CHEAP.

nice Fahrenheit GLI, I did a similar mount in my rabbit, but I used black-plastidipped 3M hooks to hold it up

Thanks...When I was looking for videos I never found 1 that did the trick so I made my own. I'm glad it was helpful.

Since your cam can be mounted. would be cool to see how the iPad behaves while you are driving.
I never thought about the dangers of an empty ipad mount! Good thought to consider! Thanks!
Genious! My vents are not in the right place, but if they were I would do this all day long.
That’s clever.
I think I'll re-shoot this video and explain it all in 5minutes...
Saw and liked your video! Nicely done! :)
Perfect solution! Thanks!
You're welcome. Enjoy!
Good job how much for that what type of plug(connector) was that you used

That Dice controller was roughly $100->150. I cannot really remember.
