We travelled to India many, many times and also stayed in some backpacker places - but so true, sometimes you need to get away from the constant hustle and bustle. You guys should visit Kerala for some excellent ayurvedic treatments and massage, the friendliest people ever and a stunning place for filming too! To such an affordable price.

      Back in 2009, I stayed a heritage hotel in Udaipur, fronting d beautiful lake, it was very cheap, can't remember exactly d price, but definitely around USD 15. It was my first trip outside Mumbai. In 2010, I did a road trip from Mumbai to Udaipur n Jaipur. Again in Udaipur, I stayed a lovely heritage hotel, look similar to d one u guys stay in Jaipur, but it was quite a small room n it was a bargain, less than USD15.

    • @Yasin_Affandi
      @Yasin_Affandi Před rokem +1

      U guys definitely reminded me of d past of my passage to India. I didn't have sufficient budget to stay all d way in luxurious hotels all d time while traveling in India, but I had a few. Few of my best experience staying at a luxurious hotels were during official duties for 2 weeks each time making preparation for d incoming govt n biz delegation from Malaysia for d trade n investment mission to India. In Bengaluru, I stayed at d luxurious Leela Kempinski Palace Hotel n in Mumbai I stayed at d Taj Palace Hotel. On my own private expenses, I stayed a lovely room fronting d Arabian Sea at d Leela Kovalam in Kerala. My best hotel experience was at d Oberoi Wildflower Hall during winter. Everything was capped with snow. D tennis court was turned into ice skating rink. I dipped into a wonderful jaccuzi fronting d himalayan range n before that I swimmed in an indoor heated swimming pool with gorgeous hanging chandeliers. It was an off season n we were treated like VVIP. Our room was also beautiful fronting a view of d great himalayan range. But most of d times travelling in India, I stayed at a budget hotel. I really can't wait to see more of your explorations.

    Wifi is not really a thing in India in hotels and coffee shops because of cheaper data on mobiles.
    Unless you work in buildings like rework, indicube, or any other office spaces, you will not get good internet speed.
    For instance, I get a speed of more than 100Mbps speed on my mobile, which is much much greater than my wifi speed, which I don't use unless my 3GB/day data finishes.
    So most people don't need wifi at all. That's the reason restaurants, coffee shops, or public outlets won't provide free internet services.
    If you want, you can get it at metropolitan train stations and even on some trains like the Vande Bharat express.

    Would you like to travel in one of India's many most luxurious trains which show some of the most important places in a few states. Atleast watch the video on that. Also visit hawa Mahal and other important places. Also see the handicrafts of Jaipur. And I hope you are here to visit more than just the golden triangle. Even if you travel your whole life just in India, you won't be able to explore it fully and each new experience will amaze you more. So visit some of the most famous temples also where non hindus are allowed. They are also extremely beautiful.

      Good idea. We will try do it when we return to India. Unfortunately 1 months wasn’t enough time. Especially with getting sick for two weeks too.
