- Today im taking a HIGHLY Illegal trip to purchase a VERY RARE yamaha snowmobile. it is an extremely hard to find 4 cylinder 2 stroke MONSTER from the early 90s. What should we swap this monster 2 stroke engine into? or should we keep it a sled? YOU TELL ME WHAT TO DO WITH IT in the comments below!!!

There’s a part of me that says rebuild that sled and bring her back to her OEM glory, but then my reckless side says to swap it into a larger go kart with roll cage and all; a mini, 2 stroke SXS 💪🏼

Dude that old yamaha got me drooling lol. A older friend of mine has one that is pretty much mint and he just wont give it up. It sits under a tarp in his garage and hes like 65 and fat as hell and says one day he will do something with it. My son and his are very good friends......we have both tried to get him to give it up but he just wont. I forget what year it is..........sucks

You gotta find a set of quad stinger pipes as there is very few things that have such an incredible and truly unique sound as the quad pipes on the V Max 4
PA police would be at my door just for running a trailer like that. Ohh Wait they already are at my door for driving my derby car 3 houses out the road to my cow pasture and back and harassing my parked car with 5% window. “ just peal it off it’s easy” said no one who did it right ever 😂” insurance won’t cover it with that tint” I said “ good thing it’s not your car than ain’t write me a ticket or leave my drive way because it’s not coming off”🤣
I know the connecting rods from the vmax 4 should interchange with the banshee and RZ350, I’m wondering how close the bolt pattern on the vmax4 cylinders are compared banshee cylinders 🤔

Yup, I remember the forest fire back in June. I'm located right next to the Canadian border going into Quebec, it got pretty smoky around here as well. I also recently picked up a 76 Yamaha IT400 at the beginning of October as a project for next season. The guy I bought it from was pretty cool, he was telling me how he used to race motocross in the 80's. We chatted for quite a bit before we finally got down to making the deal.
By then he reduced the price because of how far I traveled to get it and for the fact that I wanted to fix it and make it rideable rather than junking the bike and keeping the engine. He showed me all of the people just trying to trade him random stuff for it. I think I was the only one out of all of them who gave him an actual cash offer. She's rough like pretty much most old bikes but it runs and it's mostly there. Of course the first step was buying all of the tools I need to take it apart properly.
Now I just have to buy and collect parts over winter for when the time comes to work on it. Now that I finally have the tools I can also start collecting parts for my YZ465 as well. The same goes for my 1980 Honda CX500, luckily all that needs is a couple of carburetors and some new tires. I've just been waiting for when I have the extra money. Sadly I don't have forever pockets of holding. 😁

@@StupidFastJohn Thanks a lot. I didn't get to own very many two strokes as a kid. But I was fortunate enough to have a fairly beat-up Blaster in high school. I have at least enough experience with putting a 240 big bore in that. This IT400 shouldn't be any different, just bigger.🤛
Good sleds i still own 2 1996 Vmax-4s that ive had since new 1 is under 3K miles the other right around 5K miles with a full built motor runs very strong and will hang with any 1000 in the straights

@@StupidFastJohn it socks but you can find seats, that's a 92 which is the first year of that sled, and it's one of the 7000 vmax 4s made between 92 and 97
Im with u, rebuild that thing. There are some really cool 90's sled's that were top dog for their class/cc size/year that was cool then but now would be blown away by these new designed sled's.
My cousin had one new in 92 !! Restore it.

Why didn’t you put the second trailer up on the first trailer and set the bike beside it?
Because that sled is extremely heavy and there was no way we were gunna lift it up on there
