Seeking Adventure and Bizarre Food in 🇰🇭 Cambodia's 🇰🇭 Remote Floating Village - 4K

- We're exploring the remote province around Siem Reap, Cambodia where the Tonle Sap lake floods creating a floating village. It feels a little like the movie water world. The locals have adapted to living on the flooded lake, the houses are on stilts, the children paddle to school, and even the animal cages float. Of course we'll try some local exotic food along the way. Let's check it out!
Tonle Sap Lake is a UNESCO World Heritage site and has the largest freshwater floodplain in the world. It supports around 3 million people. I'm a foreigner in Cambodia and this is my latest vlog. Is Cambodia safe? Is it a good retirement destination?

Thanks for watching Tommy J!
You were out there Brian! Amazing they adapt to living where the water level changes so drastically. Great to have Da tour around with you👍🏼
Yes sir, the more I'm around Da the more I like him. I think he will be a lifelong friend. I love seeing places like that. The ingenuity of the Cambodian people is admirable. Thanks for watching amigo!
And the adventures continue. Excellent.
Thanks for watching amigo! Hope you are well.
Great video brother! I´m like 16. Have a great new year!
Thanks amigo! May this year be better than the last
Omg! Raw snails? What is the taste? Makes me curious!
They tasted good. I'm not sure they were raw? I hope not!
Brian are you back in Phillipines or in USA
I'm working, I'll be in Manilla may 21 to get married. We'll spend some time in PH but probably be back in VN in the summer.
@@BeyondBrian she looks like a beautiful caring lady who you were with before wish both of you the best you still gonna keep your place in Arkansas or Texas
@@Robertmacmedia Yes, for now my life won't change much. I'll still work 5 months a year and travel 7 but I'm sure we will spend more time in the Philippines.
@@BeyondBrian question aren't you close too branson missouri
@@Robertmacmedia I'm in Texarkana, Texas. Not real close but I have a fried up there and used to ride my motorcycle up there every year.
Any kampuchianthai there???
I'm sorry but I don't know what that is.
Watch out eating raw snails. I would be soaking in lemon juice not just dipping them . 🐌 = 🪱
I don't think they were raw, but I didn't even think to ask! Hmmm, makes me wonder now.
So cool - love watching your adventures!!
Thank you!
