Do you have a video on how to remove the rear wheel of the Berkman 400?
Mitch, When I'm at Amazon, and I search, "Mitch's Scooter Stuff", results sends me to "All" departments - children's & handicap scooters, etc but, not your store.
..... So, every time I want to view your products at Amazon, I have to take links from CZcams videos. ..... Am a longtime; loyal CZcams viewers - especially of Burgman videos. ..... Thank you very much for publishing these videos. .... You allow me to do my own maintenance & eventually, repairs.
@@hannadeshler1426 Welcome! Happy to help you with your scooter! And thanks for the support! I always have a link to my amazon store in every video description.. that's below the video.. you click to expand it. There's also an amazon link with amazon icon and 'store' on the picture with all my scooters on my CZcams channel page. Also linked on my Instagram profile if you follow there. If you type it in you just type in your google search bar.. amazon.com/mitchsscooterstuff and it should auto populate the full address which is www.amazon.com/shop/mitchsscooterstuff
Just as a bonus tip - always crack loose the fill bolt first to make sure it can be undone. You don't want to drain something only to realise you cannot re-fill it! Plus, it helps with drainage :)

Greetings from Greece and bravo for the excellent job...
Thank you!
This might be my next scooter, I like the legroom and space under the seat.
It's amazing scooter :)
Great video Mitch :) Really too bad you have to pull all that body work starting at the front... I'm sure the design could've been a bit better to work on the back end.
Thank you! Yeah for sure!
Siempre disfruto con estos vídeos, y más de una vez me han sacado de un apuro con mi Burgman. Enhorabuena!
This is soo much help.

Hi.
I have a question. I have a BMW C400X scooter. It currently has 9,000 km on it. I would like to ask when it would be worthwhile to change the transmission oil in it and for what kind? Thanks bye.
Thank you very much Mitch. A question. When do you have to change the transmission oil?
Every 6,500 miles
What is the name of the panel you removed first? I am trying to find one and i couldnt find for right side
Thanks!
You are very welcome! Thanks for the support!

Hi I have a 07 burgman 400 sluggish taking off is that normal, what can I do to fix it
Hi Mitch, I have always used ZC90 transmission oil in the transmission of my K7 from 9/2006 and I replace it every 5-6000 km. Never had any problems.
What do you think about it?
Hey that should be fine
10 w 40 engine oil ??????? not transmissionoil SAE 75W-90 (GL-5) Suzuki recommends this oil
I know Suzuki has recommended 10w40 for the rear drive unit even on my 2006 400 . I have extra 75w90 gl5 full synthetic, would it hurt to put that in instead? Also I know the early 400’s did have 75w90 originally. Why did they change it?
Yeah... not sure why they changed it...
Have you ever ridden the Burgman 200? I'm interested in getting a scooter with the idea of getting the best possible fuel economy I can squeeze but having the ability to drive on the highway only when needed but just the absolute minimum needed to do that. So I thought the 200 would be good.
Funny I finally saw my cousin’s burgman 200 in person last week but I didn’t think about try ride it… it can go up 75mph yeah easy to go on highway 😄👍🏼
Hi, please show us in channel how to repair honda ruckus front shocks(suspension)
Hello Mitsch, I have a question, so if you can answer it, please. I have a Burgman 400, 2014-Year, and it has 54,000 km. Is it consuming oil in the engine, is that normal or is there a problem? Mostly everything is dry, it doesn't smoke, it works great.
Hey hmm check your air filter box to see if oil is in there
Thanks Mitsch for the quick reply, I checked everything and there is no oil or oil leakage anywhere. I am wondering if it is possible for it to consume oil if the valves are not as it should be.

Or maybe it's normal for it to consume about 50 ml of oil per 500 kilometers

Anyone think there would be any issue with taking a yamaha smax 155 across county? I know people have on other scoots but just asking incase the smax may have flaws or something?
Should be fine :) it's Yamaha :)
I’m considering purchasing new mid size scooter and I’m thinking between Burgman 400 or BMW c400gt. I have test ride BMW last week and about to test ride Burgman 400 this Saturday. The BMW is really good scooter in terms of brakes, throttle control, stability and cornering and also performance is good enough. But I really like the aura of Burgman 400 and it’s Made in Japan stamp :) Will see probably is inferior compared to BMW in terms of handling brakes and performance but the question I would like to ask you all is about reliability of this particular scooter because I intend to use it at least 6-7 years and about 15-20.000 km mainly in urban commuting and few 200-300km round trips from March to November?
Wow both are really good! I have my burgman since brand new in 2007 and have 62,000 miles on it... Suzuki is really good... I don't have experience with BMW yet but it looks good... I think more about which one you feel more comfortable on when you sit on both
Esa BMW es loncin una marca china, la burgman es japonesa. Cuenta tus diferencias percibidas en ambas motos???
Hermosa máquina, pero complicada su desarmado.
Is it necessary to put transmission oil 80*90?
You could but I just follow Suzuki’s, been using 10-40 since 2007
Torch french perfect.
😊
can you do coolant change on this model?
Yes later this summer :)
hi, why did you choose this year?
This is my good friend's .... I still have my 2007 model
MICHAEL MAGYAR VAGY ?
This transmission not used gear oil????
Suzuki say 10w-40
Menudo jaleo hay que montar para acceder a la correa de transmisión y variador muy complicado, tenía intención de comprar una igual....pero se me han quitado las ganas, me compraré la honda forza mucho más accesible.
Fantastic design but what a faff. Think I will stick to my motorcycle.
Do you have a video of removing the burgman 400's rear wheel?
I really want to see that video. thanks in advance brother❤
Hey, I hope soon maybe in a month or two… ride safe 🙏🏼
@@MitchsScooterStuff thank you so much I can wait
?????? 10w40????? Transmission oil 75w90 or 80w90
Suzuki say 10w40.. been using since 2007 - zero problem ... Honda PCX do the same thing too
@@MitchsScooterStuff Maybe Suzuki is confusing something? 10W40 is a liquid motor oil. The transmission needs higher viscosity and low foaming. It will certainly lubricate, but this is not the right choice.
Hi Mitch
It's enough to change the oil after 24,000 km
Gruss Thomas 🙋♂️
10w40 engine oil in transmission?! wtf?!
Yup that's what Suzuki recommended... been doing that over 15 years
@@MitchsScooterStuff I think you got it wrong. If it says 10w40, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's a 10w40 motor oil?! I think it's just another oil labeling standard, but it's not engine oil, but transmission oil!
@@ivanpn79 Not correct. I've a X-Max 300 and this too uses Type:Motor oil SAE 10W-40 type SG or higher for the final drive
🙈🙈🙈 che traffico per cambiare olio 💉
Very very dirty transmission oil😂😂
Yeah haha
Engine oil not advisable, you can use fully synthetic 75w-90 gear oil instead.
I just follow what Suzuki say... been doing that for 15 years... no problem
Not correct. I've a X-Max 300 and this too uses Type:Motor oil SAE 10W-40 type SG or higher for the final drive
Do you have a video on how to remove the rear wheel of the Berkman 400?
On this model.. not yet, I hope soon
you are the best
I wouldn't take my scooter to your service center
