I feel so lucky for the first time ever about being an introvert. I haven't struggled at all in isolation. I'm obviously sad about the virus itself and the anxiety and sadness is tangible but on a personal level I am loving lockdown. Just me and my favourite people safe in our house and for that I feel hugely grateful. I have rediscovered my love for baking thanks to you and your vids. Loving your vlogs though because it gives me inspiration for baking ideas and you're very entertaining 🤷♀️😂
Yesss! Everyone is waiting for it to be over but I find people quite draining which makes me sound like an awful person. I genuinely like people, I want them to be happy and safe.... just away from me 🤷♀️🙈
I'm also an introvert, and life for me is basically... the same. I used to go to bigger get-togethers once in a while, but I still manage extremely well just working from home and not meeting anyone. Which, in itself, sounds kind of sad, I guess.
I said that, thinking I understood. Then I actually had to go out, more than just around the corner for food. It was awkward and excruciating. Also, JEANS?!! I wore camp shorts. Jeans are too much of a commitment....
Grace just doesn’t realise what a huge influencer she is - never mind all these instagrammers!! I’ve tried so many of the recipes she bakes and products that she’s tried!

As a Dutch person I'm thrilled to see that you loved the poffertjes! I also wanted to say that your vlogs bring so much light to my days (and seeing in your comments also the days of many others), even though you're not doing much it's always a pleasure to see your vlogs and I want to thank you for being such an amazing personality xx
Oh my gosh, poffertjes, or Dutch Poffertjes as they're called in Australia, and pronounced Poffertjeez over here by drongos who don't know how to say it lol are soooooo good, like one of the best desserts ever, they were introduced to our Royal Melbourne Agricultural Show well over fifteen year or more ago, and I can't get enough. With icing sugar, and lemon or with other flavours, or maple, or butter sauce, we have many variants, they are pure heaven. Thanks to your country for introducing them to the world.
Yeah, I'd describe myself as introverted and I love having a bunch of time to myself except I HATE THAT MY CHOICE HAS BEEN REMOVED. That damn coronavirus...
I'm an introvert and I'm hating isolation too. Whenever I go for a walk: bam, the entire of London seems to be in my local park. I go to the supermarket, bam: everyone seems to be there too. Yeah, makes me super anxious.
Hey Grace, i'm wondering if your suncream is causing your acne? My face breaks out with chemical suncreams (most on the market are chemical cause they're nice and light). Years of terrible skin in summer and I finally switched to a physical suncream and it's so much better. Worth looking into the differences, r/skincareaddition have some amazing advice. If you are wanting to try one I'd recommend the Kiehls mineral one, it is sooo light and doesn't feel greasy at all x
great idea!! also, don't mix your moisturizer and sunscreen, it may affect the performance of your sunscreen! i'd love to see your skincare routine too:)
Lauren Hi Lauren! This is clearly a well intentioned gesture and you obviously meant well but in the absolute nicest way possible she didn’t ask for opinion or advice on her skin, but seeing comments like this, even if they are well intentioned, can have a negative affect on a persons mood and feelings about themselves in general. I’m sure she’s dealing with her skin in her own way as she sees fit.
I've always thought of myself as an introvert and a bit of a home body, so when isolation started I really underestimated how it would affect me. I've now realized just how much I enjoy and need social interaction, like yes normally after a day of it i need to have alone time to recharge but as long as I have that time I'm good and thriving. I've been so sad lately not being able to work or be with my friends, parents, church family, etc, zoom just isnt the same. Your content is sure helping to brighten my days though! 😊❤
I'm loving all the Banksy content - my little old lady cat (who I loved with all my heart) sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't go and say goodbye to her in her last few days due to the lockdown and i was completely heartbroken. So I'm craving all the kitty content! I dont know why I'm sharing this. I just think i need to!
I had three zoom meetings last week. Tomorrow I have two meetings one of which is a training I give. Thursday I have two more meetings one of which is a training. I'm grateful for work. I'm just exhausted. My bedroom is my office so I can't even separate my rest space from my work space. It's all running together and I can't leave it.
Harmonyhope I'm grateful to be working and to be working from home. I know I'm lucky and I feel my privilege. It's just been a hard couple of weeks the last few weeks.
I love it because I live in Baltimore, MD and whenever you say “good morning Baltimore” I feel so dang special...sending love to you Grack from across the Atlantic!!

Hello Sweetie, I’m from Mauritius and work in a hotel called SHANTI MAURICE, although it’s not 4 seasons, I can assure you that ALL hotels are in lockdown in Mauritius since our territories are closed and flights are frozen until… well, until nobody knows when actually…. Oh Covid, when are you going to chill on another planet? @Grackle
Mauritius is definitely on my bucket list to visit, do you recommend your hotel for me to stay at? Is it a safe place to do any individual walking around, like if the person you're traveling with wants to do different things from you sometimes? What places do you recommend that aren't too touristy? I really hate going to see what every one else goes to see, doesn't feel very special then to me. You know how you come back form a holiday and you want to share your experience and right in the middle of telling people your fun, suddenly someone in the crowd pipes up, "yeah I've been there too", I hate that lol
I thought I was an introvert but I'm struggling so much I miss people and hugs. Really struggling not going swimming it relaxes me and dampens down anxiety. I miss my family so much I have been baking a lot but now have hit I can't be bothered with anything now.
SAME! I've always considered myself such an introvert but being alone at home is taking its toll on me. Thankfully my family is here but they're more introverted than I am so they don't want to be all together every minute like I do. :( Tl;dr I feel you, dawg.
Same!! I miss hugs and my anxiety is even worse. My day to day life isn’t much different other than I don’t go to school to teach anymore which is where I got all my joy. Other than that I went nowhere.
I am not loving quarantine I think its because if I am introverted I still miss my family who are miles away and I enjoy doing sports outside. Maybe I'm not as introverted as I thought or maybe it's because it's now week 12.
Honestly, Grackles videos are pretty amazing to me. I travelled across the country on my own in December to be near a group of friends and I've not had any human contact for 4 months now. I'm high risk so i can't even go to the local shops. her videos are getting me through each day & makes me feel at ease again, especially when the family are involved because I really do miss my family! Thanks, Grackle for making us all not so lonely!
Watching during lockdown part 2 November 2020. This year has been bizarre. As an introvert myself I loved having everyone home during part 1 although my hubby had to go to work after a while still it was like a mini holiday in our own world 💞 We had breakfast in the afternoon. “Lunch” in the late evenings and we’d be having tea and coffee at midnight. All normality was thrown out of the window. One of the best bits was when we rescued our stray cat 🐱 The worse was not being able to see my sisters grandson face to face grow up he’s nearly 1 now 😟 Grace I wanna say you have been nothing but a breath of fresh air during these past 8/9 months. And thank you so much for all the videos and all your effort you have put in towards them. I love your family dynamic and watching you I’ve felt so much chirpier 🌹 thank u xx
You're like a really good friend, who I've never met and you know nothing about me... Creepy actually. But love your happy vibes and quirkiness! Thank you x
Video idea: 5 days of no Instagram. You uninstall the app and document all the moments you crave it, and then think of other, non-social media things to do instead.
You know you are an extrovert in isolation when you are so deep into CZcams watching as a coping mechanism that you are starting to watch every video the first minute it is posted. Someone send help.
Does anyone else just appreciate grace's little stories eg. the avocado ripening, idk about you but I love them and feel that she does not need to put herself down for it or say that it's boring. It's one of the reasons I love her videos and have been subscribed for this long
I feel you SO much! I value my alone time especially late in the evening before I go to bed but I am an extrovert too and I thrive on being around others and in big groups of people...let's just say my energy levels these days are...kind of non existent haha but everything will be ok! I believe that!
It’s really nice to see an extrovert posting about being an extrovert. I seem to only ever see introverts sharing their challenges but it can be so hard being an extrovert sometimes too x
Honestly when I see grace has uploaded it makes me so excited, so underrated!!!! Love how she's just so down to earth and so relatable. Thanks momma and pappa booth for creating such an icon X
Grace if u change ur pillow cover and bed covers regularly u will get less spots, cause u might have overly oily skin it gets on ur pillow and makes it dirty quick so u might need to change ur pillow cover more than other which is what I do too, thought I’d share this bit of advice with u ☺️ Best wishes
@Grackle I love watching your videos. I've been really sick the past few weeks and your vids always seem to make me feel better! You and your family are lovely and brighten my days.
I think this is my favourite video of yours 😂 no pressure but I’d watch these all day everyday, you’ve just got so much energy and all without coffee. Wow. YES GAL
Grace as a fellow extrovert I’m literally getting by with your constant vlogs because it literally feels like we’re talking in the same room!! I just wish I could do something for you to make you feel better :((
My anxiety disorder has made it really hard for me to leave my house at times and now that i’ve been forced to stay inside for so long i actually WANT to go outside.
A big reason why virtual meetings/hangouts are so draining is because you are missing the natural cues you would get in person, like facial reactions and body language that cue you to know when to speak, what people are feeling, etc. I’ve interrupted my work colleagues so many times on work virtual meetings! I find it so exhausting and I actually dread it now.
For your skin...what if you take dried chamomile and lavender and make a really strong tea with it. Strain it well. Store in glass container in the fridge. Every morning and night after you clean your face take a cotton ball dipped in that. Then wipe you face and allow to dry. It should reduce the inflammation. Make it small batches and keep only a week before dumping and making more.
Grace, this video put me in SUCH a better mood. I was not having it yesterday but today I feel a little better and I feel more productive. Thank you for these videos, because they're getting me through right now. ❤❤
As an introvert who is quite happy to be working from home and not having to go out for anything but groceries and prescriptions, I'm sorry you're having a hard time with it. I'm seeing a whole lot of people struggling, and I know that vlogs like yours are helpful to them. You can absolutely go on socially-distant walks with friends. Some people are even meeting outside at picnic benches, each sitting on an opposite end, just so they can have lunch with a friend. I suggest giving it a shot. Good luck, and thanks for the crazy-but-amusing-and-interesting vlogs you've been posting!
Grace, I don't work at Four Seasons, BUT I live on a Greek island. And honestly, it's been glorious! We had a massive heatwave last week and everyone went to the beach (we are allowed to), it was wonderful to see families spending time together at our beautiful beaches without having to serve the crowds of tourists... of course, you guys are very necessary to the islands' economies, but it's still lovely to see the locals enjoying the beautiful island we call home
Hi Gracie. You mean the fontanelle? (The area at the very top of the skull where there is an area of lack of bone cover as the bones are soft to allow passage down the birth canal.) This opening is normally closed by the time a child is 18 months. Apart from that, you shouldn't have a soft bit, as such. Put your tissues, mints etc. in your bra strap. Excellent pocket. Readily accessible. You know when you're feeling emotionally turbulent as the times are so strange? The thing to do is to have more to do. Apart from work (p/t key worker) I fill my time with volunteering at the food bank (mostly filled with other church people volunteers) and sewing nurses scrubs as they are short of PPE clothing. Fills all my time. Never have time to feel turbulent. Highly recommended. Learn things as well. Sorry to hear your Mum's having trouble sleeping. Could be one of a number of reasons. Uncomfortable bed? Need a memory foam cover on the mattress? Too hot? Not enough air flow in the room? Worried about something (apart from covid)? Coming down with a cold etc.? Perhaps a telephone consultation with the GP?
Your content is so grounding Grace, it always makes me feel better!! Would you ever do a day of eating according to your Ayurvedic Dosha? That could be fun 🤔
Genuinely curious - What merit is there to the dosha thing? I came across it on the Pukka tea website, and have no idea what I'm meant to do with the information. (Tbh, I only took the test for their free sample kit, which never turned up. Mucho disappointment. At least I know I'm a vata, I guess?)
@@sentienttapioca5409 Hey! That's completely fair, I think if you look into it a bit more - maybe take a look at what Jasmine Hemsley says about it - you might find it beneficial, I think it's a nice way to find balance - but obviously not taken to extremes haha. I just thought it might be quite fun for Grace to do the quiz and follow it for a day or something! (I'm also Vata ayyy)
I'm normally a silent viewer but I think I'm gonna comment on your content more often just to let you know how much I appreciate your hard work and ideas. Seriously your great and yes I want to see your avocado 10/10.
I’m Danish and we make something like poffertjes called aebleskiver. We add chopped up apples and serve with sugar and jam. Can be dessert or breakfast. The best! 😋
Grace! All the ‘ boring things’ you put in your vlogs I acc love😂 It makes us feel like we are friends and just having a convo about whatever we want! 🥰
I actually work for Four Seasons - some properties still remain open and of course, majority have temporarily closed the doors. However, we still have a small workforce keeping those cogs turning behind the scene :)
Hi, I used to work in the Four Seasons (both in Langkawi in Malaysia, and London Park Lane)! I can tell you that the London property doesn't provide accommodation, but the resort properties do for those who aren't local. So I'm pretty sure that in Langkawi - and presumably the other tropical resorts - the staff will get to continue living in those employee flats. :)
Highly recommend La Roche Posay or Clinique anti-blemish products! Anything with hyaluronic and salicylic acid help a lot, I got the clinique 3-step set for £25 when I was struggling around age 20 and I've used similar stuff ever since (now 5 years)! The products go a long way too.
Absolutely love your videos and your vibe. You are proof that people need to stop wearing masks and pretend to be someone they are not. Also, thanks for the fantastic food gift idea. My best friend have been little down lately, so I just ordered her mozzarella & ricotta making kit from Amazon. Just something fun to do and hopefully make some positive memories in all this odd time. Keep it up! We love you Grace!!
I'm with you Grace. Zoom calls drain me at this point (even though I am an extrovert), because it's just a completely different form of social interaction than I need. Also its draining when all you talk about is Corona and boredom... xx
HEY GRACE!! Mauritius was in total Lockdown and no everyone had to go home/leave.Its also off season so not really a lot of people in hotels. however staff came in to clean and for maintenance etc.
I've had such a good baking day today; carrot cake, banana bread and a Victoria sponge cake. Nothing better than baking for a bit of therapeutic relaxation

Grace if u change ur pillow cover and bed covers regularly u will get less spots, cause u might have overly oily skin it gets on ur pillow and makes it dirty quick so u might need to change ur pillow cover more than other which is what I do too, thought I’d share this bit of advice with u ☺️ Best wishes
just spent the last hour crying and having a sort of panic attack you calm me down so thank u 💓
@Grackle I love watching your videos. I've been really sick the past few weeks and your vids always seem to make me feel better! You and your family are lovely and brighten my days.
grace’s constant uploads r seriously getting me through lockdown:)
I think this is my favourite video of yours 😂 no pressure but I’d watch these all day everyday, you’ve just got so much energy and all without coffee. Wow. YES GAL
your videos are getting me THROUGH quarantine. so thank u so much 🥺
Grace!!!! When you mix sunscreen with moisturize you dilute a lot off the spf
grace: ranting about how influencers actually influence
me: YOU influence me to eat when i need to
Impromptu singing at the end 👏 👏 👏 Her videos are so full of amazing things you never thought you needed in your life 😊
Grace as a fellow extrovert I’m literally getting by with your constant vlogs because it literally feels like we’re talking in the same room!! I just wish I could do something for you to make you feel better :((
Grace, being away from my family during the past months has made me feel part of yours in a weird way. THANK YOU!
"What's that bit on your head that's soft?"
Uh. Grace? I think that's only babies.
Fontinelle
The soft spot lol babies only have it so their skull can collapse on itself
It was so nice to see you going for a socially distanced walk with brother!! My heart smiled for you ♥️
My anxiety disorder has made it really hard for me to leave my house at times and now that i’ve been forced to stay inside for so long i actually WANT to go outside.
I feel that way too!
we're in the same boat gal
I FEEL you on the zoom thing. Like I'm extroverted and zoom is not feeding my vibe they are KILLING it
A big reason why virtual meetings/hangouts are so draining is because you are missing the natural cues you would get in person, like facial reactions and body language that cue you to know when to speak, what people are feeling, etc.
Make it small batches and keep only a week before dumping and making more.
finding your channel was truly the best thing to come out of quarantine
Grace, this video put me in SUCH a better mood. I was not having it yesterday but today I feel a little better and I feel more productive. Thank you for these videos, because they're getting me through right now. ❤❤
“My mum finds it really hard to sleep”..... proceeds to bang on metal pots
Lolol
your videos make me SO happy grace
As an introvert who is quite happy to be working from home and not having to go out for anything but groceries and prescriptions, I'm sorry you're having a hard time with it. I'm seeing a whole lot of people struggling, and I know that vlogs like yours are helpful to them.
You can absolutely go on socially-distant walks with friends. Some people are even meeting outside at picnic benches, each sitting on an opposite end, just so they can have lunch with a friend. I suggest giving it a shot.
Good luck, and thanks for the crazy-but-amusing-and-interesting vlogs you've been posting!
I have been binge watching your videos for the past week! I absolutely adore you 😘
GRACE YOU ARE SO PRODUCTIVE
Grace, I don't work at Four Seasons, BUT I live on a Greek island. And honestly, it's been glorious! We had a massive heatwave last week and everyone went to the beach (we are allowed to), it was wonderful to see families spending time together at our beautiful beaches without having to serve the crowds of tourists... of course, you guys are very necessary to the islands' economies, but it's still lovely to see the locals enjoying the beautiful island we call home
So carefree and confident! Love your videos ❤ and I enjoyed the avocado story lol
I loveee when you do the fast forwarding when you eat!! It’s so calming pls do it more 🥺
oh my god i really love your dad!!!! his vibes are just amazing
Love you videos Grace!! And absolutely YES you are an extrovert, Bless you. I am too. Thank you for all the videos! We watch at work in the ER. 💕🥰
“Livin it up with some goats”. 😂😂😂😂
I actually work for Four Seasons - some properties still remain open and of course, majority have temporarily closed the doors. However, we still have a small workforce keeping those cogs turning behind the scene :)
Grace is the most likable person on CZcams. Not a devious or conniving bone in her body. ❤️ you Grace!
that’s my absolute favourite oatmilk!!! it converted all the dairy drinkers in my family!!
Grakle we love you. I've been binging your vids to get me through this. Keep going pal. Just done watching your Bob Ross video with your pops 😊😊😊😊
Grace, Ur awesome Girl. Don't ever change who you are. xx
This gal is an angel on earth 😇😇😇😇😇
You are such a kind person little gracie. Thank you.
I’ve never related to someone this much. Love you Grace, your videos and your personality make my day!
Ahhh homemade poffertjes from a poffertjespan are the best!! They remind me of when I was young my father made these for lunch once a week😍
i just feel so free and at one with the EARTH
iconic
Love that you know how to pronounce poffertjes!!
We missed Jesse! Hows he?
Grackle only just works out what being an'influencer' means ❤️❤️❤️ bless her!!! Too cute
"livin' it up with my goats" 😂😂👏🏻
Becca Viljoen that’s me with chickens 😭 since the lockdown I’ve wanted some chickens 😭🐥
I'm with you Grace. Zoom calls drain me at this point (even though I am an extrovert), because it's just a completely different form of social interaction than I need. Also its draining when all you talk about is Corona and boredom... xx
I wanted to say bless you babe when ya sneezed p.s. you keep telling us about your avocado's xo
Your dad saying "nice to see ya!" honestly made my day
I love her dad lol. He's silly like her
I love u so much thx for brightening up my quarantine ! :)
