This is one beautiful car. Even teenagers look at the front end of this thing and give it the thumbs up. I only wish it had optional AWD... perhaps in the 2015 or 2016 model year they will decide to offer it.
Another solid product and demonstration of good value for the $, who the F--K needs the overpriced Japanese and German offers for a well executed full size car, good job team Chevy, looks great and performs well.
The Car is fantastic and the review is great.
I like the interior great job on that GM
Good car but I'm worried about the reliability on the long run.
zorkor got an 04 that's about to hit 225k miles; still running like a champ!
That said, I'm almost willing to consider this a safe bet despite GM's all brand new, redesigned vehicles known to have reliability issues in the long run, based on my reading...

The Kia Cadenza/ Hyundai Azera, Toyota Avalon. Not the Lacrosse. That car has been engineered to not step on the toes of the Lacrosse. However I am happy to hear that u said the Nissan Maxima, people seem to forget that it's even in this class.
The back looks a little bit bland like early 2000s Infiniti.
What are your thoughts on that brown interior? I haven't seen it in person yet, only in magazine photos and video reviews, but it looks absolutely hideous! I remember the chocolate/caramel combo that they put in the Malibu a couple of years ago and this looks even worse. GM is finally making some decent vehicles and then they go and do something stupid like that. It would be a deal-breaker for me.

Too bad that rear visibility is worse than in most sports cars.
U must be a short person.. visibility is pretty good in my 2014 impala
Two requirements are being met. Rollover strength and trunk space to compete with SUVS. It has a backup camera.

I got my impala when I was 24
I'm 19. Going to trade in my Civic for this same spec Impala (except black interior) next week! It's a beautiful and comfortable car, and has plenty of pickup with the V6.
I think the interior is quite tacky and ugly. American car interiors are so ugly except Cadillac, Chrysler and jeep.
Chrysler and Jeep aren't American any more
