She came sixth. But it was pre-arranged because the first five winners automatically signed up with Simon, and there was no way Angelina was going to get tied down by his outfit. But Simon desperately wanted her on the show, so this is how it played out. She is now signed up to Republic Records with a contract that allows her complete creative freedom. They know they're sitting on a gold mine.

I am norwegian. My first time was her first audition on Norways got talent. She was 7, and I will never forget . She was and still is someting else.
She’s amazing. Even as a child, I have never heard a little kid sound so ethereally beautiful. She’s an old soul. We cannot get what she’s talking about when they talk your language but I can imagine it was beautiful.

There is no doubt in anyone's mind, this was an absolute MASTERPIECE performance. Queen loved it and said Freddie would have loved it, too. She accepted the invite to be on this Show because her team thought it would a great idea to get the USA familiar with her (and also the rest of the western world). She did get the Golden Buzzer from Heidi. We don't want to get into how the winner was chosen. Let's just say it was ridiculous. BUT, everybody came out a winner. Angelina came out of it with a truck load of subscribers to her channels and her popularity soared. AGT's rating numbers were excellent, all because of Angelina appearing on the Show. And, the public? Like you and I and millions of people all over the world they said, "OMG, who is this girl?" John, when you look at this again and they shoot scenes from the audience you will see her family, from left to right: Uncle Michael, little sister Juliette, Her mom Sara and her grandma Mery. The love in her family is incredible and it's no wonder everything about Angelina has to do with love.

I thought you might be interested in knowing this info. Apparently, Angelina didn’t win AGT champions because Simon wanted to sign her but Angelina said no. Shortly thereafter she signed with Republic Records. And Heidi Klum pushed the golden buzzer. 🇨🇦♥️🇨🇦

Great reaction John! Angelina did indeed get a golden buzzer from Heidi, but did not win the All Stars. Can't remember the winning act (maybe a dancing bear or something like that), but clearly, Angelina was the most talented singer they had, or have ever had on AGT. To take that massive song and arrange it into a two minute window the way she did is a feat in itself, and deserving of a golden buzzer. The voice? Heaven sent!

Shin Lim (magician) was the winner. He had just recently won the regular season of AGT, so there was some recency bias going on as the voters were far more familiar with Shin than many of the other contestants. Add to that, the very flawed voting system in use, where there are only 100 superfans voting. You get a system where it is possible that first and last place are only separated by a very small number of votes.

I saw her when she was 7. She's the real deal. She has a great voice and we will be listening to her for many years to come!!!!!!!!

Angelina created a genius arrangement. Every note is planned and executed to perfection, to evoke the emotions Angelina felt from the story of this song. There is no one to compare her to, as she has set a new standard for what is possible by a child vocalist.

I stumbled on her 5 years ago when she was 12 & have listened to her every day since then. I've had favorite singers & bands dating back to the 60's, but I was never a big fanboy, that is until Angelina. As Howie said on her next performance at AGT-C, when she sang the most beautiful version of Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, that her voice is "Hypnotic." He was so right & she is also the most versatile "Artist" I've ever heard.

A different judge 'owned' the Golden Buzzer for each round. Week 1 was Heidi Klum's week and she duly did press it for Angelina after the other judges spoke. But anyone who followed proceedings, which some of us did even before it was broadcast, learned not to take it seriously. Not only did Angelina not win, she didn't make it to the Grand Final following what would be a curious decision even in a genuine contest to eliminate five of the ten finalists via five head-to-heads. This made it possible for the act with the second highest number of votes to finish outside the Top 5 if unlucky enough to be in a head-to-head with the act with the most votes.
If you think about it for a few seconds, the whole Golden Buzzer idea makes no sense. One conveniently per round? Given before all the contestants in that round have appeared? Nah sorry, don't buy it. It all sounds rigged for effect.

I first heard Angelina at 7yo on a Swedish talk show (2014) and have followed her ever since, she is the ONE!
She sang with Alan Walker when she was 10 in Norway! Unbelievable voice.
They cut the video short. Angelina DID get the Golden Buzzer, of course! She is one of the MOST talented singers EVER and continues her AMAZING career to this day. One thing you didn't mention, because you may not have noticed, is that Angelina was wearing NO SHOES! This is her "signature" when she performs ANYWHERE. I was desperately bored during COVID lockdowns, browsed talent shows on YT and I stumbled over her. Otherwise I probably still wouldn't even have heard about her😢

Great reaction John. That was a golden buzzer moment and yes this performance was the first time I discovered Angelina. I'm a Queen fan and she made it sound so emotional it made me cry. I love what she did with the song. The 5 people they kept showing in the front roll is her family and the child you saw crying is her little sister.
This was my 1st. My wife and I thought it was really good, but didn't follow up. Nearly 2 years went by before I experienced I Put a Spell on You (black and white version). This performance was the first time I ever saw her, heard her, heard of her. I was so amazed, I immediately listened to it again and again. Then I searched for her and found her channels and found out about reactions. I have listened many times a day every day since then. My life is not what it was. I wake up to Angelina. I go to sleep to Angelina. She connects in a way that no other singer I have listened to ever has. Some were close. She is an incredible storyteller, and she conveys emotion in a way that makes one truly feel the message. I was envious of those who went to Norway last summer, but I did get a ticket to her upcoming New Hampshire concert in September. New music, live concert...bucket list check! Lol.
I‘ve been watching her since her audition for Norway’s Got Talent went viral. So disappointed that she didn’t win AGT Champions, she should have. You know Queen let her copyright her version and Heidi did give her the golden buzzer. She also covered Elton John’s Goodbye Yellow Brick Road on this show - amazing! She is a rare talent for sure.

YES!! The first time I heard her was this video on CZcams!! It brought chills, and tears to my eyes! I came across it again, and the same thing happened! So I said, “I’ve GOT to hear something else she did, and see if her voice sounds just as amazing!” “But if it does, I want to hear EVERYTHING she’s done!!” So I searched her name, and found that she had started with “Norway’s got talent,”!and won it when she was seven! I started there, and listened to every song on that show. I was especially blown away by “ What a Difference a Day Makes” and “Summertime “ ! WHAAAAT?!! And English was her 2nd language!! How could she sound so adult, and so masterful in her techniques, when she sings at that age?!!” And somehow she brought tears to my eyes every time. So I read all the comments, learned about her and her gift, and her heart, and have been addicted to hearing her ever since!!! She simply reaches your soul with her voice~

The reason you and Simon had never heard that particular arrangement of the song before is because it was Angelina's own arrangement! She's been doing her own arrangements of her covers since she was literally eight years old, making them her own. The remaining Queen members saw this performance and praised her the next day on their Twitter account! Then, they took a next step, and gave her their permission to copyright this version in her name! Just mind-blowing!
I really realky recommend her cover of stay originally by Rhianna. Its underated but in my opinion its the best of what shes done. And she was just playing around having fun with it. She changes the entire meaning of the song. Please watch this masterpiece. ❤❤

Notice her little sister crossing her fingers as the performance starts and later her mother wipe tears from her eyes. Also remember she said she had waited 10 years to sing for Simon. Was my first time, and followed her ever since. I'm 65 and hope I live long enough to see this perfect rose continue to blossom. Heidi took a great interest after the show and now has her preparing to be a top model as well. BTW she came in second to an unbelievable artist that created flowing pictures in sand that were breathtaking. I still thought she should have won but they had her singing while the sand artist was blown up behind the performers and a young man playing violin. I detracted from her performance . She is a SOLO performer.

This is my first time ever hearing her. She just put her own take on one of the most famous songs in history, and was absolutely legendary doing it. I don't know how she walks with balls that size. That was just ridiculously impressive.

Her grandmother was her greatest influence, but Angelina chose her own path. Her first studio performance was at age 7, singing I Who Have Nothing. She won Norway's Got Talent at the age of only 8, singing old time classics from Billie Holliday and George Gershwin, and became the youngest ever vocalist to win an international Got Talent Show! Her performance at 9 years old of Screamin Jay Hawkins, I Put a Spell on You is considered one of the finest recordings ever of a 9-year-old vocalist! Why does Angelina sing barefoot? The answer may bring a tear to your eye. It is related to a promise she made to herself and to the world when she was only 6 years old. She was traveling in the Middle East with her mom and grandmother and they came across a young orphan girl with no shoes and scarred feet. Angelina gave the girl her own favorite shoes. Angelina ask the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said a doctor, but she could not because she had to take care of her siblings. She asked Angelina the same question and Angelina said I want to sing for the world. The young girl said she would pray for Angelina. Since then, Angelia has forever performed barefoot as a reminder of all those less fortunate. At age 9 she wrote a book about this experience, Between two Hearts, becoming the youngest ever published author in Norway. She also has helped raise millions for children's charities. She even donated her winnings from Norway's Got Talent to charities. She is a special individual, and one you cannot follow without developing an emotional bond.

Oh My God is all you can say hearing this young musical genius. Billie Holiday and that era -- carrying the pain and emotion. She is like a kind of channel of emotion through music. She was astonishing at a very young age. Yes, in Europe we do know her well, but the US market is key to commercial success. Her family have been really careful about her education and musical brilliance, as far as I know.

Yes, AGT was my first exposure to Angelina. But I wanted to watch it again, and that's how my YT journey started, with Angelina, to Dimash and Diana, and finally to Nightwish. All of them helped me a great deal through the pandemic. And made it the best time of my life in the last 25 years. I live on Maui, no tourists, but we locals were allowed to go to the empty beach for swimming and fishing. Swimming with turtles, no traffic, and being paid more than in my usual day job.

My first experience with this phenomena was actually Angelina's second appearance on AGT in 2020 - "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road", which totally blew me away. I have watched her thousands of times since. Best singer/storyteller in my 70+ years.
I am Norwegian. And i heard her for the first time when she was 7.... I remember her audition. My jaw dropped to the floor, i was crying my eyes out! She sang Gloomy Sunday by Billie Holiday... She came out as this 7 year old without teeth and with messy big hair without shoes... I had to conpse myself for like half an hour after watching it!

Brian and the rest of Queen were so impressed that they posted it with WOW!!! What a rendition @angelinajordan. They were so impressed that they gave her the rights to it and their blessing to record it. Now that really says something. She got the golden buzzer from Heidi Klum. Now they were looking for a Las Vegas act and Angelina is definitely not that. Plus she wouldn't sign with Simon and co. So she didn't make the top 5 like the other 5 that signed with him. She really did want to win. But she got the exposure to the American audience and AGT-C got higher ratings boosted that they needed.
This also was all prerecorded back in the 4th quarter of 2019 for the 2020 season. So they already knew who won by this time. The audience never had their input count. If it was then Angelina would of won hands down by along way and Marcelito Pomoy would of came in 2nd. So John I hope this help shed some light on things. It is her first professional recording and one of the recordings on her LP which will be out in June. Which has just all new originals on it. I started watching her NGT and have been watching her for years +. I am a 76 year old gran and live alone so she is a comfort to me.. Glad that you are enjoying her beautiful voice. Someone You Love with the hand painter and violon player might have been the first time I heard her on AGT. You have to watch that performance. The 3 performing together was a completely different plane of existence for me.

3. AJ began singing at 18 months. Her grandmother was a jazz/blues fan and played that genre of music for AJ. She fell in love with it very early on and has even arranged most if not all that she sings from age 8. What an incredible talent.
4. Currently in 2022 she is in her mid-teenage years, stands 6 foot tall and still performs barefoot. The backstory of her encounter with the homeless girl she met while she traveled with her family through Iran at age 6 includes the weather damaged bare feet of the child she gave her own shoes to.
5. The reason she performs barefoot is to bring awareness to her public of the children worldwide who can't afford shoes of their own. She has raised millions of dollars for clothing including shoes for those unfortunate children.
6. AJ sews her own clothes, (the cloth is designed by her grandmother, now deceased).
7. We all hope to enjoy her performances for many years to come.

I had been following her for a number of years before this performance. When I saw the notification I was so excited that more will finally see her and love her, I cried like a proud Aunty the first time I watch this performance on AGT.
I heard her for the first time while watching AGT and yes, she got the golden buzzer by Heidi. She soooo deserved it. Great reaction!
