Thank you for the review, I have recently gotten my 2nd wheelchair & it a ti lite TRA. All I can say is I went thru NuMotion to get the chair & I will never use them again. I can't say anything really bad about ti lite has I do not believe they had done anything wrong, however I am not happy either. However I do love my Smart Drive!!

I was looking for a thumb guard, but wasn't sure what they were called, and didn't want to pay for something that didn't end up being what I needed. This covers exactly what I was looking for in wheels. Thank you.

Good review, we need more of this. So little around in terms of wheelchair reviews and accessories.
As you said about the wheels, they are, like most things, a very personal choice but I have used Spinergy's on both my last purchases and will be with my third shortly. They are super tough, you only need watch Aaron Fotheringham to see how tough. And unlike metal spoked wheels I have had in the past, the Spinergy's have been completely maintenance free even though they are a spoked design.
Wheels like everything on the chair are expensive so it's not like they are somet you swap and change at will but I would decor recommend them for anyone looking at a new chair or wheels.

Thanks for the great review, I was looking at a Quickie 7R but can get little help from the customer service, it's good to know that Ki Mobility is good to deal with. I have been in a chair for 25 years and it's so important to find a good company and a whair that's comfortable, durable and light. The x core wheels look good, I have had good luck with Spinergy LX 13 spoke which are also strong and low to matanence free.

I have had Quickie chairs, but after a local Texas company was installing a ramp for my new home, saw my Quickie was a bit old, they purchased a TiLite for me, and I was never so happy. Once I sat in the chair, it was so solid of a chair. So easy to push. I am now on my third Ti lite. They are good chairs. Made in America!!!

4:14 My current footplate is like...rough sandpaper...? I don't like it at all, but this wheelchair has had, I guess you could say, a rough start.
5:16 Mag wheels? I do like them.

Hi :). I am glad to see you have your new chair! I have a wolturnus w5 (in black with the heavy build frame) with the same front wheels as you have. They are awesome! I felt terrible after you put up the video that your chair was damaged beyond repair. How heavy is your chair? Mine is 16kg + 6kg of my smartdrive which would add up to about 45lbs if i am correct. Its heavy to put in the car. But i can move around with only one finger. Hugs from the Netherlands, Thomas.

My son has used the tires with inserts for the better part of his life. He is 31. Got his first chair at age 2(we still have it). It’s like his “first shoes”. Anyway he has done great with them. From a maintenance aspect and reliability I feel it is well justified. Call it one less thing he worries about. Flats. They seem to grip well and roll true. Not as hard as the narrow solid type. But they are bulkier.

Solid tries... Regular tires that could be air filled had one opted to insert tubes instead, this person has opened for the rubber inserts. Rubber inserts are a pain to install without proper eq, and once installed are quite a bit different weight-wise than an air-filled tire with a tube. I would speak to a TiLite Rep., before buying any chair today. I am a 32 year L-3 Inc., Paraplegic so over the years I have owned maybe a dozen different chairs, and the TOP chairs of the day was Quickie, they really dropped in quality since 2005, and I have not checked back with them other than to visit their website. I have owned a TiLite chair and I recommend them, and Kuschall today as the top makers. There are many other makers out there who make fine products. I do not know anything about Rogue chairs, but as a personal preference I do not like the fat-tubing as I call it, technology offers other options with slimmer tubing and let bulky looking chairs that can be difficult in tight spots, and those are heavier by some factor. This lady looks like she has what she wants and that is all that matters, I am simply offer my suggestion as someone who has made the mistake of buying the wrong chair, be certain to look a few months prior to a replacement chair. If it is your first chair, it always pays to listen to what your P.T. says since she will be the one who measures you for that first chair, and she knows about which chairs receive complaints as well as who stands behind the product... Happy to answer your questions should you have any, I am a long-timer, draw on my experience.
