Thanks Clay. I prefer a pressure pot but this is far less messy. I usually back the bleeder all the way out and apply some grease to the threads to stop air from sucking in around the bleeder.

I love the BG machine that hooks directly to the master to shove fluid through the system from the master, easy quick and thorough flush, also keeps from running master low. But to own personally this is best the way to go. Great video

I really like this. What I want to find now is a type of funnel I can screw into the reservoir to make sure I don't run out of fluid. I work on Audis and they don't have large reservoirs by any means

Enjoy the videos, but I would personally like it if you guys showed some of the cool tools you already had in your boxes that might be less well known but are things you have used a lot, as opposed to what looks like shiny new tools.

Go back to work ya right I just got home from work my friend. Those bleeders are really cool. I don't have air since all my wrench turning is done in the parking lot. I did buy one of astro fluid extraction tools that has what looks like a tire pump mounted on it. It's one of those items I say why did I wait so long to get one. From gear oil to brake fluid and everything in between.

I have one identical to yours. I got mine from Princess Auto. What is your Harbor Freight. That will rock your world. Only difference is that mine has a adapter that you can fill with brake fluid and put in the master cylinder. Realty makes this a 10 thumbs up tool.

Maybe it was just me but I didn't see any fluid being pulled out. There's no could of had that much air. Also my vision sucks so I could be wrong. I use a pressure bleeder because twice I had issues where it vacuum wouldn't work but pressure has yet to fail me. Funny thing is both where Ford's, You gotta love those fords

If you are getting a lot of air bubbles mixed in with the brake fluid and can't get it to stop. The main problem is that air is being sucked in through the threads on the bleeder valve. The easiest solution is to put Teflon Tape or PTFE thread sealant on the threads of the bleeder valve. This will prevent the air from being sucked in through the threads.

@@capritoolssupport4908 i have tried that but i guess my regular plumbers tape just becomes a paste when contact with brake fluid.. pressure bleeding is much faster and easier.. i think its better for the abs to. (not 100% sure...)

Does this work on the Chevy trucks that have ABS valves that close off when they drop pressure? Just curious because it looks like a really slick and simple tool. I have the mighty vac tool that pressurizes the system through an adapter that attaches to the master cylinder. This looks simpler and less messy.

Joachim Johan just wondered because a lot of the time once the fluid quits running the internal safety check valve closes. I usually just blow air back through it to open back up before pumping the brakes. I just wondered if the safety valve would close again when you put vacuum on it before fluid present.
