Thanks Clay. I prefer a pressure pot but this is far less messy. I usually back the bleeder all the way out and apply some grease to the threads to stop air from sucking in around the bleeder.
I love the BG machine that hooks directly to the master to shove fluid through the system from the master, easy quick and thorough flush, also keeps from running master low. But to own personally this is best the way to go. Great video
I really like this. What I want to find now is a type of funnel I can screw into the reservoir to make sure I don't run out of fluid. I work on Audis and they don't have large reservoirs by any means
I have one of these and they work flawless. Great tool!
Enjoy the videos, but I would personally like it if you guys showed some of the cool tools you already had in your boxes that might be less well known but are things you have used a lot, as opposed to what looks like shiny new tools.
Nice tool , must have did the work in Bill's bay , because no tools on the floor . Lol. Love to cool tool Tuesday
Go back to work ya right I just got home from work my friend. Those bleeders are really cool. I don't have air since all my wrench turning is done in the parking lot. I did buy one of astro fluid extraction tools that has what looks like a tire pump mounted on it. It's one of those items I say why did I wait so long to get one. From gear oil to brake fluid and everything in between.
I have one identical to yours. I got mine from Princess Auto. What is your Harbor Freight. That will rock your world. Only difference is that mine has a adapter that you can fill with brake fluid and put in the master cylinder. Realty makes this a 10 thumbs up tool.
Maybe it was just me but I didn't see any fluid being pulled out. There's no could of had that much air. Also my vision sucks so I could be wrong. I use a pressure bleeder because twice I had issues where it vacuum wouldn't work but pressure has yet to fail me. Funny thing is both where Ford's, You gotta love those fords
Good video. I have a similar one. Work good to flush the brake system also.
i always get air passing through the threads of the nipple and cant see if is done bleeding.. i like pressure bleeding! dislike product not the vid. cheerz!
If you are getting a lot of air bubbles mixed in with the brake fluid and can't get it to stop. The main problem is that air is being sucked in through the threads on the bleeder valve. The easiest solution is to put Teflon Tape or PTFE thread sealant on the threads of the bleeder valve. This will prevent the air from being sucked in through the threads.
@@capritoolssupport4908 i have tried that but i guess my regular plumbers tape just becomes a paste when contact with brake fluid.. pressure bleeding is much faster and easier.. i think its better for the abs to. (not 100% sure...)
@@joachimjohan1215 We do honor a 1 year warranty on the brake bleeder and would be happy to help you. Please contact us at support@capritools.com.
Use grease and you won't get air around threads
Great Work
Is this louder than the mityvac one
No clue never used the mityvac one
Good video y'all have a great day and stay safe 👍
I just bought this bad boy last week to replace my old vacuula one I had
How are you liking the bleeder so far?
Don't you remove the master cylinder reservoir cover when doing this?
How come Bills aways getting the shit job????
When you take the tank off, is there a hose inside? thanks
No it’s just a container
@@KoonTrucking Thanks, I ordered one of the clone ones from Amazon and the parts breakdown shows a small hose inside. I guess the decided that it was not necessary.
Have you considered changing your channel name to “Diesel Medic?” Seems like a channel devoted to your business and each of you plays a role in the content. Food for thought..
That almost makes it too easy
Where do you find the truck fixing videos???
Go to my channel and look under playlist
When you get to the playlist look for truck fixing
Does this work on the Chevy trucks that have ABS valves that close off when they drop pressure? Just curious because it looks like a really slick and simple tool. I have the mighty vac tool that pressurizes the system through an adapter that attaches to the master cylinder. This looks simpler and less messy.
i would think so. im no gm guy tho....
Joachim Johan just wondered because a lot of the time once the fluid quits running the internal safety check valve closes. I usually just blow air back through it to open back up before pumping the brakes. I just wondered if the safety valve would close again when you put vacuum on it before fluid present.
@@scottsmrcka2769 post your question on ETCG or scanner danner forums maybe some1 knows this system. i really dont understand..
Is the color off on your camera you look a little red
I was red. It was hot in shop. That was the day it was 110 outside
Clay check out the video I just uploaded last night the tool haul one. The new snap on snap ring plier set is amazing
