You did a superb job on the Bus. looks awsome. This brings me back when i restored my 57 11 window (palm/sand green)which had vanished never to be seen again over 16 years ago. Only thing that reminds me of it are my dealer papers and docs i kept, just in case.
Looks fantastic! This would be a dream project for me, and its great to see such a good outcome.
Wow sir you are a true DYI king... wish you were local because you seem cool enough to hang out with and learn this type of dyi's much ch respect from southern cali
So many skills!.... Just amazing !
Thank You for this video. I love your enthusiasm and your fearlessness! Like you, I've always wanted an older VW bus, but nowadays they can be awfully expensive. I have a mig welder and assorted metal working tools/machines, but have never done an extensive restoration like yours. However, you have inspired me to start looking for a project bus. Thanks again!
hope you find a good project. this project sometimes felt overwhelming so what i did was do one panel at a time not try and do the whole thing all at once..
Wow 6 months... Your awsome...
I revisit this video from time to time. Great job!
Wow, what a restoration! Love the video..
Amazing you haven't injured an eye, grinding metal without glasses. Wonderful work and skills though. Very diligent.
Absolute fantastic masterpiece work ! I love watching and thank you for sharing.
Awesome work. Thanks for bringing back another VW Bus back from the dead. Luckily when I found my 23 Window Deluxe it was super clean and I didn't have to do any of that. ;-)

Loved watching this. My first vehicle many years ago was a 63 VW bus. Sure wish I still had it. Great work! Especially out of your garage. You're obviously very bright and talented!
Nice work man and I really enjoyed your positive attitude!
It would be so easy to try to knock your efforts on the basis of my grandad's spade, (I've only had to replace the handle three times and the blade twice), but your enthusiasm, and obvious respect for the original build, (obviously as far as practicably possible) shine through...
Leaving aside the slightly dubious hubs, you have my deepest respect ...
Thanks for a genuinely interesting and very different film
Dave
