will this work on 2013? mine blows through regular vent like it should but upon acceleration (especially towing something) it blows through the defrost vents and then returns back to regular vents if not accelerating

I just did what you said to do and it was so easy thanks for the information it the only thing did was pop out the rubber grommet and drill the hole put the tub in it and pulled the grommet back in place.Thanks again

The only problem with this way no1 wants to admit is when you reach high rpm it will redirect the blower flow to defrost. That is why the reservoir and check valve or originally present. If you bypass some it's not going to work 100%. But it is still better than nothing.

Mineral spirits would be better and wouldn’t cause flash rusting
