- www.vladtv.com - Ja Rule opened up to VladTV about a story of his chain getting taken, and addressed 50 Cent claiming that he had a part in the incident. The Queens rapper explains that Fif wasn't even present during the incident, unlike what he's told the media in the past.
The "Wonderful" rapper says that 50 Cent loves making up stories, and debunks the "Animal Ambition" rapper saying that he was intimidating Ja Rule on a flight they were on together. Ja says that he exchanged greetings with Fif while boarding the flight, and adds that he slept for the remainder of the time.

They're talking about two different stories..50 story about the exchange for a watch was when 50 and Ja got into a scuffle when Ja had a small bat and 50 said he didn't like the way he was talking and punched him and everyone ran over to break it up and 50 snatched his chain.

From the interviews and history I've seen throughout the years of these two, I've gathered that 50 is like the guy from the neighborhood growing up that everyone feared. Ja is like the guy from the neighborhood growing up that everyone loved. They both have respect and honor, just on different levels and for different reasons. Both thorough guys in their own ways. The dj at the club that night even confirmed it in an interview. I can remember his name but the video is on youtube.

Ok, So you obviously don't know the history. Ja didn't go looking for him in atalanta. Previous to the atalanta incident Ja had shot a music video in 50s hood. 50 approached Ja and wanted to talk to him, but Ja said what's up, gave him a dap, and kept it moving speaking to everyone there. 50 got in his feelings over that, feeling like Ja should've given him more attention. Not long after that 50 dropped a diss track aimed at Ja.
Fast forward some time, both Ja and 50 was booked to perform at the same venue. While in atalanta, 50s O.G (Black hand chaz), told him to talk with Ja and sort things out. When they got to talking, Ja was angry, yelling at 50 about the diss track that he put out for no reason, things got heated, 50 swung on Ja, Ja hit him back with a mini bat he was holding (a prop for the stage) and they started tussling, Ja's homies then got involved and they jumped 50 and chased him through the hotel while 50s boys stood and watched.
The same night, 50 got on the radio talking about how he had beat Ja up (Lies) and was doing interviews saying the same thing and also spreading it around the hood. That of course made things worse between them. Fast forward to the hit factory, Ja is in a studio session and they're talking about 50 amd what happened previously, Praz from the fuges had came in and said "oh 50s downstairs in a session right now" so Ja and them took the opportunity to hunt him down and get pay back for 50 talking ish about him in interviews and the diss track. That's why.

Here is what I have gathered over the years after trying to figure out what exactly happened in the beef. I know it really doesn’t matter but I find the whole story behind the beef fascinating. I am open to any objections and corrections. Ja got robbed by Lil Troy and Preme got Ja his chain back. From Black Hand Chaz’s account, a totallly neutral party who was cool with both Ja and 50, Ja saw 50 kicking it with Troy at a show in New York and felt some kind of way. Then I’m guessing soon after that, the Murda 4 Life video shoot happened and Ja got a lot of love from the streets (largely due to Preme, because he was Ja’s connection with the streets). Ja snubbed 50 there, probably due to the Lil Troy incident. 50 now feels some kind of way and makes Life on the Line, knowing Ja wasn’t authentically street and was really only getting love due to the Preme connection. He was also probably pissed about being snubbed and saw it as a career boost. Sure enough, the song gets hot in the streets, and Ja is angered further. They both get booked for a show in Atlanta and Chaz, who was 50’s manager at the time, arranges a meeting between them to chop it up. Ja angrily confronts 50 and 50 snuffs him. 50 is then jumped by Ja’s guys and my guess is in the scuffle that happened, Ja’s chain popped off and 50 came away with it. I think Nas even confirmed 50’s son wearing the chain at a later show. Then they had to trade two watches to get it back. What do y’all think?
