Yeah the cliffs up and down at the edge of the city was a major problem of this version of the map. I wasn't using custom terrain yet so every time the city ended there tended to be a cliff up or down where it rejoined the original natural terrain. I fixed that though in the follow up map that I made for Darkness Falls. Hopeful that Neebs and the team will use it for Season 2 of the Darkness Falls series as I'm super proud of how that new one turned out, solved all the problems the old one had.

@@MNightToker Yup! The follow up map I made for Darkness Falls is now included in the core files for the Darkness Falls mod. I sent it in to Khaine and he found it worthy enough to include. So if you install the latest DF mod package, it's in there as an option among the worlds to choose from when starting a new game. It's called SuperCity21DFPEP. I fixed all the problems the previous map had, especially the cliffs at the edge of the city problem which was the most obvious and annoying.

Those blocks of materials got super nerfed this alpha. They're really not worth it in my opinion.
If they were good at games they wouldn't be nearly as fun to watch. But their ridiculousness never fails to make me laugh.

In case you guys didn't know the max zombies number won hit 64 in game till you're a high enough level. The amount of zombies seen in a horde night is based off of your game stage.

I can think of three reasons why there would be zombies in boxes. A: They were infected survivors that hid inside them. B: They were infected, and tossed in there by survivors that couldn't bring themselves to kill them, or wanted to study them. C: They were placed there by survivors as a trap.

Seems like the safest place for Appsro's crafting and storage is in his horde base! 😂
That's because his horde base is next to his home base and it's actually easier for the zombies to go into his house, onto a higher floor and jump onto the horde base. He needs to upgrade the 3 bottom blocks to like all cobblestone or even concrete.

I'm so bummed I miss the live stream. I see a couple of the guys stuck around to chat! This video is one of my favorites of the season, had me laughing so hard in a few places. Love Appsro's "Rekt" imitation oh and the song to help you remember what button to use "Left click you light it, right click you throw it" is probably going to save my life in the future. And I feel that Dora finding the "Hugh got it" sign was just up his alley! He could have wrote it lol.

After literal months, Appsro is finally starting to catch onto why the zombies are focused on getting into his house (to get upstairs so they can jump to his base). I wonder who will win the race between Appsro putting all the pieces together and fixing/exploiting it OR the zombies finally being strong enough to accomplish the mission they have been attempting every day for over half the series.
During a blood moon horde there is only 1 thing that matters, pathing. Heat is irrelevant, trying to hide/stay quiet is irrelevant. The zombies always know exactly where you are during the blood moon, and the reason they do whatever they are doing is ALWAYS pathing to you (or lack of it). For whatever reason, Neebs seems to be the only one that really gets this.

Dora's got a surprise party waiting for him next episode. Wild that the zombies would even think to try that path with so many more options... maybe it's the lifted outer walls that are dissuading them. Fun Pimps really did change the pathing in this update.
I'm fairly sure that's happening more specifically because they're tunneling in from the lakeside. When I was adapting the map for the cul-de-sac series there wasn't QUITE enough room for the base tile at the edge of the lake, forcing a minor cliff to form under the cul-de-sac base tile. It forms a fairly steep hill with some cliff-y bits on the lake side, so if they spawn on that side some of them manage to get up the hill, and some get stuck and start tunneling. It won't happen except on that side, and Dora happens to be on that side.
He'll have a lovely view of the cruise ship at least until his house collapses. ^_^
I fixed all those problems in the follow-up map I made. The lake edges are clean and removed from that tile enough that there's no weird cliff edges.

I love the building anticipation of waiting to see these idiots find out that the zombies have been tunneling underneath them the whole time, and the moment when inevitably the zeds either come pouring out of the hole or the house collapses from lack of support.
I'm curious how they're actually playing that internally because Dora is editing these videos. Or at least every other video, including this one. So he saw the shot of them tunneling under HIS house, and edited it into the video. So he HAS to know, but because his character in game wouldn't know, is he somehow forbidding himself to figure it out until there is some overt surface manifestation he's being undermined?
