Awesome. I love mine and definitely find it does whatever i ask.. agree about the tubed tyres though, they are my one concern.
One of the best bikes, especially with Pirelli Scorpion Rally tyres.
I've had one for 6 years now. I changed the Phantom tyres when they wore out but the I'm very pleased I did change them as they were REALLY bad in the wet. Much better now though. I did have a major issue with the wiring, which alll had to be replaced when it was out of the warranty period. Luckily, via my local Troumph dealer (Maquina Motors, Barcelona) they managed to negotiate with Triumph and the whole thing was covered by them, was was obviously good, but I was not happy that it happened at all. Overall though, I'm very pleased with it.

I’ve done 300 miles on my T120 black since beginning of June, absolutely love it although my Honda Blackbird needs a run to be honest. Following you clothing review I bought the Merlin Shenstone air jacket and Merlin Leigh gloves. Very comfortable but I thought they would be having seen yours. They are black not Olive just in case we bump into each other in Ambleside😂. As always, thanks for a good video and look forward to future releases. Take care. Mike

As an older harley rider I recently test rode a T120 several times with a view to buying a lighter machine. Unfortunately I found the open road wind blast was just too harsh after owning a harley heritage. Unlike harley davidson, triumph havn't backed up their great bikes with great wind screen options as yet. Cheers for the great review.
I don’t think the bonneville is a windscreen type of bike really just my opinion, also there are many screens for touring for this bike on the market.
The wind resistance above 120kph / 70mph is pretty insane. But I do think the aesthetics of the bike don't lend themselves to a large screen though.
I ride a 2011 Bonneville with the dart screen and do tours on it. I cruise along at around 110 kph the wind doesn't bother me.

Love the Bonneville..looks great. To buy one I would need to sell my 2008 Honda CB1300s which Ive owned since 2009 and is a lovely bike which is really holding its price. Ive decided when it gets too heavy for me (Im 71) Ill look at getting a lighter bike. Bonneville will be near top of my list although isnt significantly lighter.

I must be the younger version of you !!! I have a 2017 Trophy SE and a T120 Gold Line. Really debating trading the Trophy SE for the new 1200 Tiger ?? not too sure the Tiger is a better Touring model than my Trophy SE. Yep it has the new bells and whistles but my Trophy is a mile muncher. In the US i have ridden 900km 5 days in row on that machine. Not sure if the ADV bikes are as good as the sport touring models... Looking forward to more reviews on the big Tiger. Ride safe Nick!!!!

Nice video, how do you compare it to the Speed Twin, I'm debating to buy one or the other.
Speed twin is more sporty naked bike, go sit on both see which suits. If you like the more classic look then the Bonneville. Speed has slightly better brakes.
Go for Avon Road Ryder tyres.
I'm on my second set now after the original Bridgestones.

Swapped out my Scrambler 900 for a Tiger GT 900 and that was a great decision. Fantastic bike, so best of both worlds with that and my T120.

Also does it have "fork dive" in the front? I recently rode a Honda CB1000R and it broke my heart when I felt the front wheel suddenly fall off, or pull, or dive after I turned the handlebar a few degrees. I am used to my BMW GS which has a damper to prevent this. I am now considering this Triumph and plan to ride one soon, but wondered if you noticed any fork dive on it.
The Bonny as I own it has non adjustable forms and the suspension is soft as it’s a classic. Also the speed front forks are non adjustable but firmer than Bonny. On my T120 I put progressive springs in front forks as I’m 90 kg and feels better now. If you have a GS then any other bike will feel dive
Hello, just wondering- how it feels on a highway at the speed around 100-110 km/h? Thinking about Tiger 900/Bonneville 120. Love bonny engine with torque at low rpms but also love to do some exploration. So on the fence about those two. Thank you
Hi 👋 well the Bonny doesn’t have wind protection but is in clean air and ok at those speeds no problem. The tiger has decent screen so better for longer tour and trips
