This shows a 3d print of a mathematical sculpture I produced using shapeways.com. This was designed with Saul Schleimer. This model is available at shpws.me/2p3G
At one point in the rotation of the 3D model the model resembled the photographic image of a black hole which was taken by the Event Horizon Telescope. If the mathematical physics of the Möbius strip was a generalisation of a black hole then... (Bath, U.K)
cube11235 Yes, I think it may be more or less the same, except this has a hole around infinity. The Sudanese surface is usually drawn with the hole filled in, curving around the twisty bit to one side or the other. With the hole, this can be more symmetric than the Sudanese version.
This is amazing! I hope you get more attention soon!
Henry! You. Are. Awesome!
Please film yourself showing this to Cliff Stoll!

It Would Better if you also Show Mobious Strip , Merge that video with this
Beautiful♡
this is awesome.
as far as im concerned they may as well have made 3d printers just for you=p
Wonderful models. May I know the CAD software you use for 3d printing it
mechatheart I use Rhino3D and python.
@@henryseg Thank You very much
i bet you're one of those guys who works on turing spheres inside-out...
I want to see it spin...
Is this related to the Sudanese surface?

I thought you were gonna spin it 😔
what is this made from?
May I buy any of these from you?
