  • Rutendo Matinyarare was interviewed by Newzroom host Michelle Craig regarding Eskom and the state of South African SOE's. In the interview Matinyarare came out strongly and blasted the state capture inquiry as a farce and outright lie. Oddly enough, Newsroom Afrika decided to remove the video from its CZcams channel.

      All I heard him say is that we should understand history so we can repeat all the same mistakes, but this time Black against White. In 200 years most of the planet will be Black anyways. And the Whites will be not only a minority, but will be even more oppressed than the masses, by the handful of billionaires. And the black people who care about them will be in same situation that MOST white people are in today. Racists - and rich people - have always been in the minority. It has never been about race to most common people. Except for fools like Rutendo who wants to entrench the billionaires by making sure you vote ANC, wagging a stick over you saying the jews or the DA want to bring back Apartheid. I dont think those are facts. If the Western powers wanted to deindustrialize Africa, that would mean smaller makert for their goods, and they would also deindustrialise. Why was Africa colonized in the first place ? For resources and makerts ? Whats the point of making stuff if no one is going to buy them. If Africans were richer, that would be good news for America because it now has more people to sell stuff to ? Like do you guys take some time to think ? Most of the aid that comes from Africa is money that is supposed to be used to buy Western goods. For example, developmental funds are used to buy catarpillars and machinery that we would never be able to buy, but now buy with their money. It would be stupid for any Western leader to aim at making Africa poorer. Chinese companies do the same in Africa.

      It's not a specific website or series of articles, but a vested interest and curiosity in general history and facts, that makes a person like Rutendo acquire this wealth of knowledge. Most Africans have the problem that they either ignorant to facts or follow biased Afrocentric narratives or are too brainwashed by neocolonial media. Just investigate the facts from a completely unbiased perspective. Don't just choose one narrative and consume only media that validates your narrative of choice.
      For example: I learn SA history by taking all sides into account, even thr biased white Afrikaer's narrative! Even they have at least 10% truth besides all their racist lies. For example, what theyhave to say about the Anglos and the mining cartels is very insightful!!
      Same thing with WWII: I study it from the perspective of the Americans, the British, the Soviets, as well as the Germans. As they say: the winner writes our history, so to learn the complete picture, you also have to take the loser's perspective into account!!

What a joke! These very scarce resources we are debating over are wasted in courts, parties, large motorcades, trips to Dubai etc. How can one distinguish the current from the old , the old built us the infrastructure including Escom, the current is stripping it and selling it as scrap. We are led by nyaoupes and their manions are paras who just want to suck baby bottles filled with alcohol. Watching interviews and listening to speeches that make us feel good means nothing if we are afraid to call our leaders out for running this country down.Looters can afford expensive advocates while ordinary citizens depend on SASSA to cheat death from starvation. Clowns sell National Archives and pay themselves R12 million and they are paraded as heroes. Your observation regarding the continued pursuit of the Anglo-Saxon agenda is astute. The reaction of the Anglo-Saxon powers to the visit of the Russian foreign minister to Southern Africa highlights their ongoing interest in maintaining their influence in the region. This speaks to the wider issue of a lack of strong and decisive leadership in African governments, compounded by the pervasive problem of corruption.
      The prevalence of "yes men" within these governments, who prioritize personal or political gain and line their pockets at the expense of the public, has resulted in a chronic inability to effectively resist foreign interference and assert their autonomy. This is a critical challenge that must be addressed if Africa is to tackle corruption, assert its agency on the global stage and secure a prosperous future for its people.

      It is imperative to examine the broader context and consider the various pressures, obligations, and responsibilities that a head of state may face when serving in such a capacity, in order to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the events that led to Mr. Mandela's decision.

    Terrible interviewer who's misinformed... Rutendo is highly informed as always and the people of Africa need to rise up and fight for their resources or else we will always run to social media and vent our frustrations and do nothing about it. Westerners have shown us how to stop the economy and not participating and also taking to the streets but without violence or the breaking down of infrastructure. But we are so far gone that we compete even when unnecessary instead of dealing with issues that will affect the future generations. The divide and conquer is highly effective tool which still being applied to the African and we always fall for it because we love being the only Black at the dinner table...

    • @pyrocolada
      @pyrocolada Před rokem +1

      @@Tlhakxza There are two types of truth, scientific truth and social truth. Social truth is a bit like music... half of it is true because enough people believe or like the music, the other half because it fits with the other notes that was there before. The problem then becomes with how many people is the social group, and what if there is a minority who wants something else, and how can the dignity of both groups be preserved... the world is big, almost 8 Billion people. South Africa is on the furthest edge of the least traveled to continent next to Antartica. It is a miracle that anybody comes here, because it is so far out, it is not "on the way" to anywhere like it used to be in the olden days, yet it is thanks to having been "on the way" to the east, that we have more wealth than many other African countries which are even more distant. Almost nobody and nothing comes here "by accident" - unlike countries like Singapore, Thailand... the world is a big place. The problem with Penuel and Mugabe for that matter, is that they talk with confidence while saying things that don't add up. If you write everything down and try to follow it you quickly come to that conclusion. The problem, I think, is they don't understand that ownership is responsibility, they seem to think that things just happen automatically when you have ownership. Which is not true, ownership means you are responsible for making it work. Mugabe went on and on about land ownership. When he had the land he blamed the fact that they couldn't do anything with it on the fact that they had no equipment, etc etc. When in fact he had all the taxable income necessary to fulfill his dreams, what did he do, he destroyed his tax base... the world is not a zero sum game, things don't come from "white people" or anything like that. Things come from people who make it, and nobody deserves to be given anything, what we deserve is the opportunity to make things and to learn to make it better. If you can show me where Mugabe, and Penuel, promote this, then that is good. But where they tell you "oh these bad people did that, and they are all white" that's not helping anyone, all that does is creates an army for them, so that they can tell that army what to target, and in the chaos of war, they can cut out a fiefdom for themselves while the rest of the world goes to hell, thinking they care, when in fact they do not, they just care about hearing their own voice whether it is true or accurate or not.

In a very harsh way, he is again asking why there is a drive of independent producers who have little reach in distribution and provision than having the little players becoming out producers for eskom.
