some quick lore. before this song actually plays in game. there is a bit of dialog. spoken by the person who is origionally singing this:"I was working in an exosuit when the Tempstarii (a "ghost space-ship") destroyed Lucretia Platform (a space station). I drifted for days among the frozen fragments of my crew. My Sisters. I dreamed their dead, gaping mouths were singing with me yet."

I think Geoff went with 'gold' for the contacts. Cesar and Omar couldn't decide on their colors so they split two pair to get one of each.
Thanks for the quick reaction. Excellent performance from Voiceplay again. Did you notice that Layne didn't (forgot?) have his gloves few times. Background images are based on what artists have created from telescope "photos" from space.
This is a great one! 100% agree about Cesar's performances. Especially in the minis, I always have to replay to just watch Cesar because there is a whole story going on there.
Encountering the original ingame is amazing, they ran with it and made it playlist repeat material!
Space bards are my absolute favorite bards! But now all I can think about is the epic BG3 soundtrack. I mean, honestly, you might have ruined my weekend while I replay this over and over and day dream about VoicePlay doing BG3 medley! 😂 Y'all never fail to thrill, crushing it guys!!

They are all wearing contacts. Cesar and Omar each have a white contact in opposite eyes.
I've seen this a few times today, and the eyes looked like 2 colors. I felt that they were going off to space but it kind of had a sea shanty vibe too. Of course, Geoff has been thought to be an alien so maybe that's not too far off. Remember VoicePlay's We're Good. Rob Dietz worked on that arrangement and on this one along side Geoff. Layne must have had a space button that would transport his gloves to his pocket and back.
The song was specifically written for Warframe (per Wikipedia and other sources). Voiceplay's version is considerably more dynamic as well as leaving out some of the original verses to fit their own arrangement. The original is sung by Damhnitt (pronounced Dav - nitt) Doyle, from Newfoundland. Alan Doyle (Great Big Sea and then solo career) produced it.
Cesar and Omar took half of a pair so they had odd eyes ❤

Geoff's eyes are Hazel but they are dark brown/green..He's wearing gold contacts. :-)
Geoff piloted this one. His walking base line is amazing! And Layne's on point with percussion. Cesar and Omar shared a pair of white lenses (Cesar in his right eye and Omar wearing it in his left) and a pair of blue contacts. Eli is wearing bright green, Layne is wearing purple, and Geoff is wearing gold. Geoff had a devil of a time with continuity errors. They did reshoot a section because Layne forgot his gloves, but you can see ones they missed it in the final cut at timestamp 0:20, 0:45, 1:06, 1:11, 1:23, 1:28, 2:07, 2:19, and 2:22, . Also, check out Cesar's eyes at timestamp 0:10 - the image is reversed.

I believe that Geoff has called his eyes hazel in the past, but he is wearing golden contacts in this. They do have a much more natural effect than the other contacts in the video, though, so I see the confusion.

Geoff says his eyes are hazel. They often appear darker in videos. The credits below the title will tell you who arranged this one.

Voice Play brilliant as ever, I also noted that Cesar starts off with the white contact in his left eye but then it swaps to his right one.

Geoff's contacts are gold. His actual eye color is a dark hazel.

I didn't know the song either (I'm not interested in free2play games with micro transitions, so I didn't even had a glance at 'Warframe') and tbh: The song itself doesn't catch me as much as other songs do.
Voiceplay does extremely well again with their arrangement and the video production (first time, I think, they filmed at "Optiview 360" in Florida) . So I definitely like it from the visual, sound mixing and arrangement pov, but it's not in my alltime VP top list. 🤗

Unrelated #2: idk how you feel about boybands? but I've been in a Take That kick recently and I was wondering if you knew them, or if you'd like to check them out. They're a British group that's been around since the early 90s, and they're pretty excellent singers, and Very theatrical in their live performances, it would be cool to hear your thoughts. Might not get a whole lotta views, they're absolutely massive in the UK and pretty much everywhere but basically no one in the US has heard of them for some reason. But if you fancy some really good harmonies and catchy lyrics I definitely recommend it!
